I had a problem with charging my phone. When i spoke with the representative he asked to look at the phone. After observing it he tried to clean the charging port. When unsuccessful he sent me to ubreakitifixit. So instead of buying a new phone, i spent $50 to have it fixed. He is a very service oriented person not interested in sales only

Verizon is a pretty decent company to be with. Unfortunately when dealing with the Verizon store in Antioch with the associate named Austin, is a whole other issue not really clear if he knows what he’s doing and he surely does not know anything about customer service. When you told “Don’t tell me how to do my job” It’s rude and not customer friendly.

Even tho I couldnt get what I wanted cuz I couldnt afford it at the time. The lady that helped my man and I was so nice, helpful, funny and she gave us suggestions on what we can do. The staff here is very nice, helpful and friendly . I been coming here sense I was 18 so I know the staff pretty well.

Salesman refused to upgrade my phone cause he was closing in 10 minutes.

This store has a back door that opens up to a drive through for an adjacent restaurant. Their door is right next to the menu where you order. Twice now I’ve been in the drive through line while a Verizon employee stood smoking next to my open window. Couldn’t be bothered to walk a few feet away I guess. Very classy.

I had a wonderful experience at this Verizon Wireless Store. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who needs help. Brent was the sales rep that assisted me. He really knows his stuff! He was extremely helpful and professional. You do not always get someone who knows all the little phone hacks and is patient while showing you, he was! I am not very tech savvy and he helped me set up my new phone and transfer all of my old data. He showed me how to set up my Icloud to make it easier for myself in the future! Had a great experience and just remember to ask for Brent when you go to the store!

Placed a call to see if you guys had the phone I wanted in stock and someone answered and simply just set the phone down. Sure its near closing time, but thats still a half hour away from when I placed the call. Ill just go somewhere else.

They use to have a good staff and now it is absolutely terrible. It is a different answer every time you talk to someone new. No consistency. Also the hours are wrong on the site.

They have texted me several times using a number with an area code local to me even though I live roughly 1200 miles away. I text back that I wasnt close to them but the texts continued. When I called the number they had texted from I was on terminal hold. Finally took the time to look up the local number and call them. They said they would stop texting me. We shall see. Spammers are scum.

This Verizon store is awesome. I came in and Brent took care of me, got me in and out as soon as possible. About a week later I had some technical difficulties with the phone, I brought it in and Brent actually drove to a whole other store to pick me up a phone to make sure I had a new one that day. I would never go anywhere else if I ever have any issues with my phone.

This is the BEST STORE IN ANTIOCH. I went to the location down the road to activate a phone I bought privately, I was told by the Rep at that store it couldnt happen and that I had to buy a device at their store. Tyler and another guy named Rigo I believe, helped me out and had it done in 5 minutes. Tyler even took the time to walk me through the device and switch my info. Tyler made sure I was comfortable with my new device and even offered me a tablet for my troubles. Great customer experience from these 2 gentleman. A+

Extremely disappointed. Wanted to purchase a screen protector for my new phone, was charged $45. On top of that, was enrolled in their GoAdvantage program for an additional $80 without my consent. Called Verizon to cancel this service immediately but the refund had to come through the store, which they refused to do.Shame on my ignorance, asked for a screen protector and got charged $125. Good thing that slimy salesman no longer works there so hopefully doesnt happen to others.

Clean store but took forever to get phone updated and rep kept getting distracted and helping others. Would not have been a big deal if my needs were being met first, but felt unimportant.

Fortunately I found my way to this store after spending two hours at the other Verizon store in Antioch angry and frustrated by their incompetence. I was assisted by a young woman named Catherine who made short work of correcting my phone issues that the other store was unable to.she was efficient and knowledgable. thank you Catherine! Imagine my surprise finding this wonderful store after being told at the other store that the closest store that might be able to help me would be in Grayslake or lake Zurich ? Really? I will tell everyone about my discovery as well as telling everyone about the horrible experience that I had at the other Antioch Verizon ! By the way the issues that I was having were on a new phone that I purchased there the day before...never again!!

Store owner and a couple employees are great, BUT if you get a employee name Jason run!This has happened to me multiple times. I work construction so unfortunately I go through phones like a girl goes through outfits, so whenever I get a new phone I am always in a frenzy to try and find a case/holster before I break the new phone. Every time I call to see if they have one in stock (because they are close to my house) they automatically tell me no. They do tell me that they can order me one and get it in 1-2 weeks? I ask them how they are sure there isnt something in back and he just tells me because he knows. Very rude and unhelpful. I would get someone who cares and will at least humor me.

Never buy anything from this store!!!! My boyfriend and I went to this location to purchase 2 cell phones in September 2013. We originally chose the Verizon Maxx and also purchased the warranty that the sales associate recommended. We did not like the Maxx phones and exchanged them 2 days later for the Note 2s we had originally wanted. Last winter my boyfriend dropped his phone in the lake while ice fishing so I called the insurance company to get a replacement phone. At that time, I was told by the insurance company that we owed $250 instead of the $150 we were told would be due for a deductible. I called the store where we purchased the phones and was told by the manager who sold us the phones that there was an error on the insurance companys end. I called the insurance company back, irate at this point, and was told there was no way that the error was made by them. I called the store manager back and he finally admitted that it was his fault, he did not change the insurance plan when we exchanged phones. The insurance plan we were sold for the Maxx phones is cheaper than the insurance plan for the Note. We finally got the replacement phone after the manager said the issue was taken care of and the store would cover the balance we were not expecting to pay.Today my phone was stolen and I called the insurance company to file a claim for a replacement phone, only to be told that there is no insurance on my phone. I called the Antioch store where we purchased the phones and spoke with Joey. I explained the situation and he assured me that there is insurance on my phone. He gave me a contract number and a purchase date of 9/7/13 for our phones. I called the insurance company back, only to be told that they do not go by contract numbers. I called Verizons 800 #. The tech who helped me says he has record of my boyfriends phone being replaced a few months ago but that he shows no insurance coverage for either phone. The tech also claims that the Antioch, Illinois Verizon store where we purchased the phones from is actually a third party seller and what we actually purchased insurance wise is probably insurance offered by the store itself and not Verizon. Now I am left to squeeze in a trip to the store in the morning to hopefully get this situation straightened out once and for all. What should be a simple task has turned into a headache that will now cost me in gas to drive 35 minutes to the store, time away from other important errands and housework that I had planned for tomorrow. I would have given this store a -1 rating if possible.

Came in for tech support on my droid on my way to work. Tyler was a huge help and ended up sending me through tech support to get a warranty phone. The only part of my visit that was bad was we kept being interrupted by a older bald guy in a red shirt. He kept cutting in on the conversation that I was having with tyler and repeating things that we had already gone over. It was annoying and just made my visit that much longer. I give a 5 str for tyler. I would rather come back when the other person isnt there next time.

After a long day dealing with verizon corporate office and the District manager for this verizon store. Things are working out. Just a shame that Verizon corporate and its retailers dont communicate between each other well. And takes 13 hours of my lost time to deal with a simple result.

Came in with a tech support issue and expected to get hassled like I would form every other store because I wasnt there to buy a phone, however I was pleasently surprised to find that these guys didnt just try to push me off to someone else, like had been done to me in the past. I will absolutely be coming here again.
