I am another business owner in the Firearms industry, I have to say that the service and people there were great! I genuinely had a easy paced time, good conversation and really good prices! I will be doing business there in the future, and appreciate the generosity!

I called to ask if they were willing to buy a couple long guns that I wanted to sell. The guy on the phone says come on down. I show up at noon and they tell me hes on lunch break till one. Ok no problem, I come back a little after one oclock. And then the guy tells me the buyer wont be back till 2 or 3. I guess they may want to start setting up appointments. Because I dont want to drive all the way across town to drive around Apache Junction for 3 hours Waiting for this guy to show up.

They have a pretty good selection of handguns and rifles. I had been looking for a Glock 17 MOS and they had some in stock. The employees were helpful to me and everyone that walked in.

The employees are very helpful and nice. The pricing is unbelievable. Its definitely a place to check out if your into guns or in the market for something along those lines.

I was referred t AJI by another shop, who knew what I was looking for. I got to AJI they had what I wanted (older Marlin 336) and at a really good price. Spoke to multiple people while looking around and was very happy with the service from the gentleman selling the rifle and the other staff. I only wish they were closer to my house :). Been going here for years but they have changed. Compared a couple guns to Bass Pro pricing and found they are more expensive. Only good thing is they have a large selection. Just dont expect to get any help.

Called this morning on the phone and they were the only place in the entire Phoenix area that had EXACTLY the pistol I was looking for, and for a GREAT PRICE...they helped me with a deposit right then and there to hold it until I got to the store. After arriving, the NICS check and sale went very quickly without any problem, really only took a few minutes. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Love my new tactical shotgun have not shot it yet but it feels great for really good price brand new I go here all the time for my guns. They also know how to give you a really fair trade-in deal probably the best trade-in deal youll find in a valley.

Staff could use some hospitality lessons. Went in for a beretta 9mm which they had a used one for $750. No one helped me so I left. Positive note I found a brand new one at campers world down the street for $645

This shop is great. Clarissa, Nathan and the team are very helpful, informed and honest. Definitely the best experience that I have had in any gun shop. I felt super out of place in the store but thats okay, the experience was great and I would buy from them again - I think thats the important part.More detailed parts-I called in on Thursday 3/25/2021 to see if they had goods I was looking for to purchase, they did, and I received general store prices.On 3/26/2021 I called back on my lunch break to get more detailed information on the goods, with out the door prices, someone in the store was nice-enough to calculate the prices for me with their 6.3% tax rate. It was perfect, that gesture alone made it for me.Later on 3/26/2021 I stopped by, put on my mask even though you dont have to wear one, popped into their store a little nervous since it has been a long time since I purchased anything from a gun shop. I definitely felt out of place, but the staff were very friendly and I wish I remembered the guys name but he was super professional the whole time - he turned his head to cough away from me and I appreciate that. He walked me through the process, I walked around the store for awhile during the background check, and then I walked out 30 minutes later with my goods.It was quite busy, only one old guy was wearing a mask, no one else was. Im glad AJI Sporting Goods accepts people from all backgrounds into their store to walk them through the process in a professional manner.

I go here just about once a week to see their stock. bought a Del-ton sieera 556 about a month ago and i love it. my first gun purchase from them and it was very quick and painless. their staff is quick and knowledgeable. theyve got a large supply. will always be my go to spot

I jog to the store almost every morning just cause I love seeing if they got anything new, just wished it looked like the picture from 2018... heck I wish every store could go back a few years.

Dont go here. The staff isnt friendly or helpful. Im pretty well rounded in gun knowledge, knew what I wanted & was looking to buy. The guy I dealt w/ (little man w/ dark hair. Was later told he is the owners son) didnt bother to give me the time of day, as he was sipping on his coffee. I was warned by others to stay away & I shouldve taken their advice. Go to American Guns & Ammo. Als a stud & its a much friendlier atmosphere.I ended up buying from them.

Friendly staff, sometimes can find good deals on milsurps. Tends to be a bit higher priced than market on some firearms. Great place to happen upon old surplus ammo though!

Its the local gun store for me, I am always surprised with what I find in there from old shotguns they dont make anymore to military surplus stuff I have no idea about to nice hunting rifles and many tactical looking guns. They are great for FFL Xfers. I feel lucky to have a local gun store like AJI!

I was a newer gun owner and quickly grew my count to three as AJI always had what I needed, even if it meant waiting a day or two. I purchased a handgun, most my cleaning supplies, two holsters, mags, and range gear at a good price. The staff is helpful and even took 20 minutes to sit on the floor and sort through all the magazines just to make help me find one. I love going there as there is something I can usually pick up something for my needs. They make suggestions even if it means not making a sale. For that, I am very grateful. They are my closest shop and I will continue to support them.

Only thing I didnt like is its too small for the amount of customers. Other than that I really like the place. Oh, they also had ammo when I cant even get it online. Maybe I just got lucky.

Ive bought 2 guns here and had great experiences but it depends on who is taking care of you today I asked one of the worker if they had .22LR he immediately said no in a annoyed kinda way..so I asked if he knew any place that might have them? .maybe from a customer telling him or maybe where he might of saw some ..and he said I dont shop at any other gun shop with zero eye contact .as if my question was about where he shops..even tho another gun shop owner told me to go to AJI because they might have some 22lr... instead of being too cool to answer someones question while u are at work

The staff are not only knowledgeable but super friendly. Not knowing much about firearms, our sales guy took it down a notch and explained everything in terms we all understood. I live in Flagstaff and when asked what the best gun store is I tell them its in Apache Junction!We look forward to traveling and visiting this store.

Stay away. Worst buying experience ever recently so Ive changed my review. they used to have good staff and a great store but not anymore. Greedy, pompous, refuse to wear covid protection. I wont go on for fear of saying something Ill regret later.

This place seemed to have a wide variety of guns but the staff didnt speak to or even acknowledge me. I finally approached a guy behind the counter to ask where I could would find a revolver. He pointed in a general direction and said over there . Once I found the case, I didnt see the item I was looking for. Instead of trying to ask another question, I decided it would be easier to find a more professional shop. I wont be going back.

Had such a great experience with Nate! He exceeded our expectations by far! Made it super comfortable for my husband and I who are newer to handguns. He was so knowledgeable about everything we looked at. When we go to buy another gun we will definitely be coming back here and asking for him!

Id give it a zero if I could. I am almost positive the person I talked to was the owner. I called to ask if the had ammo and the person on the phone said they had it. I walked in less then 5 mins later and low and behold they dont have it. When I pointed out that I had just called not even a couple minutes agoHe actually pointed at the shelf and said it would be there if we had it. Do you see it because I dont. He was condescending on the phone and even worse in person. I have gone there multiple times. I wont be going there againNot the way to treat a customer.

I never leave reviews for anything but this place is too good to not leave a review. I have been a steady customer for about 6 months now. Everyone is friendly and helpful with any issues I have with my guns. I feel like I learn something new every time I go. Prices are good and you can walk in look around without being bothered or feel like they are trying to sell you something the whole time. I always recommend this gun shop to all my buddies and will continue to do so!

Good prices, just hope you don’t need any help to answer any questions. For someone with bad vision that couldn’t read the labels, It was too much for the employee to get off his butt and help. I’ll take my money else where.

I went to the store on 3/20 and 3/21 it was a super mad house but the staff was super cool, friendly and went above and beyond to answer all my questions I ended up purchasing a 9mm today and the owners daughter was also helpful to show me some holders for the guns. I am not so familiar with guns but she showed me some options I have to carry my gun. Thank you all for being awesome and I don’t know how you manage the crowds the way you do but you maintain it all at a very professional level and I thank Jeff for responding to my emails. I will be back when the 9mm bullets are in stock.

Wasnt going to purchase my firearm from this place the staff always seems rude and disrespectful towards you and their guns even for used are in my opinion overly priced. however they do have a clean and clear store yet I have not had the pleasure of taking my purchased (used)Springfield armory XD 9mm out shooting to make sure the gun works properly.

I have never been so disrespected in a store. The clerk was very rude and impatient. When he did not have what we requested he never bothered to review alternatives. We were there about 3 minutes.

I have dropped by the store numerous times and all I can say is that some of your staff needs training on how to make a customer feel welcomed.I don’t want to be pounced on like at a dealership (which I appreciate) but being ignored when standing at the counter then given short answers as if annoyed is a big turn off.

Was initially apprehensive about checking out this store due to some reviews. Had an FFL transfer done here not too long ago and the process was so easy. Came back again to check on ammo stock and there was tons that I needed. Everyones been so nice to me. Heard people were causing a ruckus because of the prices, but were in the middle of a mess and Im just thankful to be able to walk out the store with what I need.

Used AJI as a FFL site for my new AR. The $20 cost was desirable, but I was there as I wanted to support my town Mayor, who owns the shop. The girl who assisted me was less than helpful. Ive never owned a semiautomatic and was disappointed that she didnt offer any info about the weapon. There was an abundance of staff for the 10 customers in the shop. (Social distancing rules) Id like to support AJI for my purchases in the future but will have to think long and hard before I do.

I stand there staring at the wall waiting for someone to acknowledge me so I can make a pre determined purchase, no one does. I get the attention of a worker. They run my back ground and tell me to wait, no problem. I wait for 45 min, no problem. The store is closing, I’m the only customer left. The “salesmen” that mind you helped me with the gun and ran my back ground check ask me, “what’s up” like (we’re closing, leave) I say, “waiting on my background check from you??” The reply, you came back delayed(which is no issue) it was the fact this had been known for God knows how long 30 min or longer and no one told me until they tepl me to leave the store?!?.. thanks for over an hour wasted & 5 min typing this stupid review.

Great location for firearm transfers. They even helped me ship a firearm to an FFL location out of state.

Located on a busy street near Apache Junction, AJI Sporting Goods has a large white building with barbed wire surrounding the roof. It kind of looks like the Alamo. This place has your older, mom and pop feel to it. You can browse through all sorts of options at this place and the essentials are covered. This is also a place where you are more likely to find something rare. I would check them out!!!

The staff seems friendly enough and I was helped as soon as I entered the store. They had the ammo in stock that I was looking for and the price was reasonable.

Place is okay, prices are competitive, but always make sure to know what comes with your purchase before you take the box home, I bought a ruger ar556 new any other place and website comes with sight adjustment tool and manual this one didnt, again I rather buy one than drive down there its so cheap. But As cheap as the tool adjustment sight is, shop isnt willing to provide me with one, they said what was in the box is what you get and i hold this to be true, so my fault for not making sure. Regardless I feel like after you spend 750+ they should be able to better accommodate you with little things, 17 bucks invested In a client can earn you a return of 100x more

Just an average shop with average price. If you have questions, you will get replies like, I dont know, Im just the weekend guy or if your going to buy something you need to hurry cause we want to get out of here on time. Except for one young gentleman, nobody seemed like they wanted to be there. You can find better prices and cleaner shops locally.

Theyre super helpful and friendly. Prices are good. I feel like theyre honest when answering questions or giving advice. The only thing that would make it better is if they didnt endorse the NRA but its a gun store, so I guess it comes with the territory.Special-ordered a Ruger .308 with a scope. They show you their cost vs what you pay and I think its totally fair. I also bought my S&W 9mm there and it was like $200 cheaper than Bass Pro!

They have a little more selection in stock than the other place guns2ammo. Plus actually had ammo in stock. But some prices on the guns were a little high

I give 2 stars for a decent price on my new gun and fair trade in on a brand new gun that had never been fired. However the rudest bunch of unhelpful people Ive ever met in a gun store. Ive seen some egos in gun stores being a woman but Ive never been treated like my business wasnt wanted more than here. Serious attitude problem on those dudes.

Great selection that is ever changing. The little woman and I stop in and just browse around sometimes, sometimes we buy. Once in a while everyone is in a hurry because it gets busy some folks might not care for that much but its a busy shop and business is business. We have purchased several rifles and about 6 Colt pistols from them as well as a few other pistols, wonder why? Because it is a good shop they spend some time with you when your just browsing as well as when your buying. As far as trading in your firearms they are very reasonable. If you see a firearm you like grab it because it wont last long things tend to move fast.

I bid on a weapon for sale by AJI in an on line auction and was the high bidder, when I picked up my weapon from AJI it was an great experience. The process was fast, legal, and I was treated great. I forgot to take a case to carry my purchase and the AJI employee provided one free of charge and gave me a free shirt to-boot!

I always buy my ammunition here and the prices are extremely fair. The staff is friendly for the most part. I do sense some racism in the air from the old timers, but nothing you cant ignore. Also, steer clear of the fat man hes very moody, lol. Guy with the beard and a hat is super nice and always is happy to answer questions, and he also is patient to understand my thick accent, lol. For those who dont, I dont blame them i can be a mumbling stuttering SOB at times. But honestly all jokes aside, if your hobby is shooting and you live close by, it would be your loss if you dont check the place out, cheers.

Great place, lots of knowledge with any of the great bunch that works there. Great pricing compared to other shops I visit from time to time. Always seem to go back there when ready to buy. Came to see if they had any AR lowers for sale, the staff was very polite and helped me find the best fit for my budget. I had a few questions about other guns as well, they were very knowledgeable and I didnt feel pressured at all. The background check process was very fast and smooth, even though they had a lot of customers there. They have an awesome selection of firearms and it was fun to look around while I waited.

I use AJI for all of my transfers and have had a great experience, every time. They have a great inventory of handguns and rifles. The best part? They do a great business and the stock is always changing, so visiting often is never boring.

I went in there to ask about a gun transfer. The guy I talked to was very rude and not very helpful. I walked out of there with the decision to go somewhere else. I will spend more money and drive father to be treated with respect. And I wont be going back.

Some of the best selection and pricing in the area. Always fairly busy, but good customer service. If there is something you are interested in, they are happy to show it to you and spend some time with you. Pretty much everything you need is available. Cant think of too many place that have the amount of both new and used inventory for you to peruse.

Prices are great whether youre purchasing, selling or trading.During my visits here Ive never witnessed what some of the negative reviews state; the staff have always been equally wonderful to everyone. This was the first gun store that I visited when I moved to Arizona. It has the best selection and very friendly staff. The owner, who is also the mayor of Apache Junction, is also very nice and cares about his customers. If you have a problem with anything you purchase from them they will make it right. Moreover, they are very fair when it comes to prices and trades. If you are in this neck of the woods, give this shop a look.

Gunsmith not helpful at all, rude on the phone and in person. Essentially did nothing with helping to fix my rifle issues (wouldn’t even bother taking it apart), then charged me $5 after talking for a few minutes. What a joke. also, saw another review of the same complaint and AJI replied saying he isn’t part of their store and is simply renting out a space and working separately... if that’s the case, then why is he on your website?? Never returning good job fellas 👍🏻
