Reached out to a few rock companies and AZ Rock Express had great pricing and was communicative. We accepted their bid and had it all delivered today and installed. Crew was great. I went to check on the progress and was working on an irrigation leak and was planning to return the next day. When the office called me for payment, they told me the crew noticed the leak and fixed it for me. Talk about going the extra mile without asking. FANTASTIC company and experience - would use again!

UPDATE: the owner contacted us regarding the amount of dirt we found in the pile and they offered to come and take away the dirt which helps us out a lot. They were very prompt and professional and we were happy with the way they handled our issue. Will be recommending them to our neighbors in the future!So we received our product on time and got to shoveling the rock into our yard only to figure out about halfway through, that about 40% of that pile was dirt. We ordered 6 tons of rock and maybe got 4 or 5 out of it based on how much dirt was in the pile. Obviously, getting rid of ALL the dirt in the pile prior to delivery isn’t exactly possible, but... this much? See photos below.We plan on calling the owner for some sort of resolution and hope to update this review soon.

Product was delivered timely and prices were fair! There was an exceptionally large amount of dirt in my 6 tone pile of Apache Brown. Alex contacted us in regards to this situation and had someone come out and remove the dirt for us. This was a huge help, as we had no where to move the dirt to. Excellent customer service!

Unfortunately I called multiple times recently & I got a voicemail every time. I left a couple voicemails requesting a call back for a quote to get rock delivered to landscape my front yard but haven’t heard anything back from this company. After we received a notice from our city letting us know that we needed to fix our front yard (the sod was dead as we purposely let it die to eventually put rocks in), it forced us to care of the yard sooner than later. Because quotes that we received from landscaping companies were way above our budget, we decided to take on ourselves the project of landscaping the yard. My boyfriend came across AZ Rock Express website, found their prices to be pretty reasonable, and we decided to visit their quarry to check out their inventory. Alex was super helpful and took us to the different rocks they had, explained the names, sizes and prices. After looking at approx five different rocks, we decided to go with the Desert Gold in 1/2 inch. He explained that it typically takes about 2 days from the time of ordering for the rocks to be delivered. Since we still had prep work to do with the yard, we let him know that wed call when we were ready. Once we were ready, we gave instructions for our order, they delivered on a Friday afternoon, and we provided a check at that time. The best part is - we were originally concerned that they would dump them on the sidewalk, obstructing the street, somehow resulting in another notice from the city, but we didnt need to worry about that at all - they were able to dump the rocks directly in our frontyard! Due to our miscalculation (AZ Rock Express originally advised us to go with more), we ended up placing another order for an additional five tons of rocks - which again was delivered right on time, and they dumped the rocks exactly where we needed them. We spread the rocks ourselves, but we considered using AZ Rock Express services initially. These guys are awesome to deal with, were timely and made the experience very easy and seamless. If we have any other landscaping needs, well definitely go back to them. Thanks, Alex and company!

This was only my second time ever ordering gravel so i was a little intimidated by the process and trying to make sure i bought the correct stuff. Casey the sales manager really helped me through the entire process, came to my house with samples so we could get a match, measured my yard so i got the exact amount i needed, and had out delivered on the day and time he said out would be. This was the easiest process ever. I highly recommend AZ Rock Express. Also, the driver was courteous and helpful. All around a great experience.

I have used AZ Rock Express for a few landscaping rock projects and it has always been a great experience. They have been very helpful with answering any questions I have had, and with helping me figure out how much rock I needed. I even had them do the rock install for one of my projects and it came out beautiful! There was no clean up needed and the rock spread was perfect. The surrounding area actually looked better after they left!I have received many compliments from neighbors and highly recommend AZ Rock Express.

I purchased 5 tons of landscaping rock minus for my front yard and had it spread by AZ Rock Express. That was one of the things that really appealed to me when choosing which company to go with, and that was I was able to order the rock, and have it installed without having to hire 2 different companies.They were very professional and helpful- even in the picking the right rock stage. I know my project was small in comparison to some of the other larger ones they must get, but I was treated like their most valued customer and because of that I feel inclined to leave a 5-star review. I ordered 10 tons of ABC material from Alex on Saturday and it was delivered by Benny on Monday morning at 6:00 am sharp. Both Alex and Benny are very friendly. Benny (delivery driver) dropped the load exactly where I needed it. I highly recommend this crew at AZ Rock Express and I will be using them for all of material needs from here on out.

I ordered decorative gravel for my new home a couple weeks ago. After checking with various gravel wholesalers I decided to go with AZ Rock Express as they beat the competitions prices, were extremely friendly, and helped me to know exactly how much I needed. These guys installed 1500 sq. feet of sod along with a sprinkler system and timer for our home.They were prompt in coming to give us an estimate, were very straightforward about all work that required to be performed, and pricing.  I could not recommend them enough highly.

I ordered 3 tons of pea gravel and it was delivered 1/2 hour into the delivery window. The driver was very nice and able to pour the pebbles where I wanted. The ordering process was done over the phone and the price came in under the quotes made by other places that I called. If I need more rock down the line, this is the place I will order from again.

Things sometimes happen beyond our control - I understand that, My overall personal experience I found AZ Rock Express offered awesome customer support (thx Alex and David) - very communicative and friendly staff. Highly recommended. We went with 10 tons of 1 for backyard landscaping and 10 tons of 3/8 pea gravel for driveway (shown in pics). We made two orders thus far will buy again when time comes.

INCOMPETENT AND INCONSIDERATE. THE OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF. I ordered 10 tons of product yesterday morning to be delivered between 0500 and 0700 today. I get a call at 0655 from the manager telling me that they dont actually have any of the product I ordered and the owner will not do what is necessary to fulfill the obligation to deliver what was ordered. I have crews arriving this morning to begin a landscaping project and now I have no material. I am operating on a strict timeline and budget and AZ Rock Express just screwed up my week due to UNPROFESSIONALISM and NEGLIGENCE. The manager had nearly 24 hours from the time I ordered to the expected delivery time to figure out whether or not he could fulfill the order and yet I get a call 5 minutes before 0700. I cannot imagine any business making a sale without knowing whether or not they actually have the item stocked. My credit card information was taken, now I am concerned I will still be charged due to the obvious culture of incompetence at this business. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. The owner has no idea how to run a business and the manager cant manage a yard. SHAME ON YOU. I will be writing the better business bureau and spreading the word through my personal network about this joke of a business. The only helpful thing they did was send me to their competitor Pioneer.Update: Pioneer in Apache Junction was able to match the price and deliver same day. Thank you Pioneer for being true professionals. I will be sending all my friends and family to Pioneer.

I submitted an online quote and it took 2 days for a response. The response came on a Saturday a few minutes before the business closed. I emailed back and stated I wanted to place an order. I waited on Monday for a follow up call and it never came. I decided to call and place an order despite the delayed response. I called and spoke with Casey who took my order, credit card information and scheduled delivery. I was supposed to have the product delivered on Tuesday, 6-20-17. No call on Monday to confirm and no product delivery on Tuesday. I called around 12:26 p.m. on Tuesday to find out what happened and the call went right to voicemail. I should have gone with my intuition and went elsewhere. A prospective customer trusts a business to follow through and this is what you get. A very unprofessional way to conduct business and treat a customer.

Delivery as promised. I was notified a few minutes before the truck was to arrive with our landscape rock. Great communication from the moment I first called until we paid for our delivery.

Casey the sales manager and I think the owner as the main line goes to cell phone. He has the WORST customer service and runs his business horribly. He doesnt respond to emails, calls or texts even though he tells you he will. He verbally tells you how lazy he is by saying he doesnt want to leave the house to give you an answer. He wont confirm anything and just does assumptions. On top of it all, he treats you like your bothering him. DO NOT USE HIM!!!!
