Would not recommend after past experience. At least this location ( I have never tried another location )I brought my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation, I asked them to give the truck a thorough inspection to see if anything is due for service. They completed the oil change but said you need new struts and shocks.I say ok what are we looking at ?$I got a quote, it was 788 dollars, ok thats fair( I check around ) I schedule the work to be done and drop my truck off, I get a call a few hours later and was told I have bad news, the job is going to be significantly more than we quotes you originally, we are looking at about 2,300 .I say ok well dont do anything ill pick my truck up then when I pick it up I asked for a new quote on paper, and the quote is written up for 3,161$??, I ask if the can put an oil change date/milage sticker on because when it was changed a month ago they forgot, they said yes absolutely that was never done.In the past they did not do a tire rotation with the oil change ( thats free with an oil change)Ice mentioned it and they said we did rotate tires I knew they did not because knowing marks on my rims and wheels, I went as far as marking my tires/rims.BOTTOM LINE is when you bring your vehicle somewhere to get ANYTHING done you need to TRUST the people that are doing the work and giving you advice. I personally do not trust tires plus whatsoever, I will never go back to them again for anything.
Excellent customer service. Ive been struggling with a tire that loses air overnight. Cost just over $20 to remove the nail in it and patch from the inside. Ive had other cars with similar problems and I just kept adding air. I wish I knew it wasnt very expensive to fix.
Instant quote great service well worth the money, well worth the wait labor was fantastic and so is management! Good happy attitude willing to do the best job they can for their customers!
Great service and they get the job done and my truck back on the road. Thanks, Matt at the front desk is great and helped find the right solution for what I was asking them to do.
Went the extra mile to get our AC repaired in time for our road trip. Really took good care of us.
No more tires plus for me seems my vehicles leave with more issues then when i drop them off and this last time i went to get a simple flat tire fixed and what do you know i drive home which is a hour away wake up next morning and what the tires flat? Woooow
If you get an oil change here, check that it was actually done and you have new oil before leaving. I’ve given so many chances and I am officially done. I went and got an oil change (and tire rotation) and I got oil all over my engine and driveway. I went back and they said they fixed it. The cap wasn’t tightened and they “overfilled”. They corrected the issue and apparently filled it back up. 4500 miles later I went back for an oil change (and tire rotation). 1,000 miles after my oil change my car was stalling and making gargling sounds. I brought it to my mechanic and they said I was down a quart of oil and the oil that was in there was unbelievably dirty. So much work had to be done to correct the issue. I don’t think they fixed the issue of my oil going all over and then I don’t think I even got the oil change the 2nd time. What a nightmare.
Good prices and customer service
Friendly, courteous and always welcoming! I had a great experience both times I was there and my car was taken care of. Thanks yall!
Apparently being honest with Tires Plus is not enough for them to help a returning loyal customer.. have been going to the same place for approximately 4 years. Bought tires 4 or 5 times. I’ve even sent them more customers. only had an issue once that they resolved. But this last time, I purchased 4 Bridgestone tires and then my trucks motor went out. I tried to take them back using their “30-Day Try and Buy” return policy and because I was honest with them instead of lying to them about why I wanted to return the tires they didn’t want to help me in any way. First, they told me they couldn’t return them for a full refund because apparently “return for a full refund” actually means exchange for different tires ( mind you their website says “the tires can be returned to the location where they were originally purchased within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange) But when I pointed that out, Josh, the manager then changed things up and said “but that’s only if you’re not satisfied”.. I could have easily gone in there and told them I wasn’t satisfied, that their tires sucked, that I didn’t want theirs and I got new ones, that I wanted my money back. I was even told to do that, but I didn’t because I was taught better than that. Because I figured if I told the truth they would understand, help me out and I’d go back again when I needed tires again. Josh even tried to tell me he couldn’t take the tires because they’ve already been on the road, even though that’s literally what try and buy means. But he and his other employee that I didn’t get the name of, could not have cared any less about my honesty (or even my situation) it got me no where. So, I will never go back. And I hope this helps you if you are ever in a similar situation.
Did not honor an online appointment. Disappointing.
Out of all the tire places in the metro, Apple valley tires plus was the only one that had a matching tire for my stock Volkswagen GTI. My enthusiasm towards servicing my tires has until now, fallen just under an appointment with my dentist. Tires Plus Apple Valley changed that for me.Although I wasnt thrilled about the 15 mile drive with a donut on the front, compliments of the guy sent by the Volkswagen dealership (review pending), it was absolutely worth my new found confidence surrounding the pot hole epidemic that the city of Minneapolis promises to continue ignoring flagrantly.my savers trip was sadly cut short when they finished my car an hour ahead of the quoted time despite a full parking lot when I arrived. I still cant imagine how theyre able to accomplish that much and still maintain an atmosphere of content employment.I enjoyed my experience at tires plus Apple valley so much that I went ahead and blew the other front tire the very next week (literally) just for an excuse to pay them another visit. Plus I feel like I needed to balance out the wear on my drive train caused by the donut. Symmetry aside, Apple Valley Tires Plus is without a doubt, THE place to go for any and all spontaneous vehicular mishaps.
I have been a long time customer of Tires Plus in Apple Valley (15+ years) and always trusted them to do a great job until recently. It seems they like to cut corners now & they dont take pride in their work. 1 instance, I had them replace my front rotors and pads, I chose all of the most expensive options & got all of the cheapest options installed. The rotors are already rusted after less than a year. Every time they switch my summer tires to winter tires or vice versa, it seems that TPMS sensor goes bad & needs replacing, which is 100+ dollars to replace. Has happened 4 times now. My last visit is the final straw. I dropped off 1 vehicle for an oil change and switch on summer tires from winter tires & what do you know, another TPMS sensor has gone bad. Unbelievable, but fine. Bring in my 2nd vehicle for oil change and tire rotation, once I pulled up and inspected the tires, I noticed they werent even rotated! I said something to the guy working and he just gave me the run around. I had to sit there & watch them to make sure that it got completed & I got what I paid for. I have thought this has happened before (them not doing the job) but couldnt prove it until this time because 1 of the rims has a stain on it. I have marked my tires with chalk before, but its always magically wiped off when I go to pick up the car. To wrap this up, this once loyal customer will never return to Tires Plus in Apple Valley! I recommend that if you go here, you find a new car shop that actually like to help people & take pride in their work instead of these crooks who cut every corner & are only there to rip people off. ✌
Great experience. Went to another couple of places and Tires Plus had my tire size in stock and fitted the same day. Early snowfall and low tread tires dont mix well so they saved us a lot potential problems..
I went to get my breaks done a little over 3 months ago. The repair itself was fairly quick. However, when my vehicle was returned to me, my hubcap was cracked. I was told that a new one would be ordered for me, but after being contacted twice about receiving it, I have yet to hear anything more.
Tires Plus is awesome, they are always honest and fix my car quick. Chad is a spectacular mechanic
Josh was great, very friendly went above and beyond to correct a simple tire pressure problem.
Honest, fair, prompt. I trust them.
I have been bringing my vehicles to Tires Plus Apple Valley for 25 years and have been happy with their work. I find them to be honest and fair and competitively priced.
Workers in back did a pretty good job. However, dont care for front man. I think he s management. Keep trying guys. Oil change good. Estimate on other work ok. I had gotten tires.Good to go.
Tires plus has failed on me many times the past year. They are always overcharging for extra services that are not needed!
(this was a while ago) They charged me +$70 to exterior inspect a tire that had broken a steel belt on a Dodge Dakota (none of which they quoted up-front). They would only give me my money back (Credit the charge) if i bought a tire there. It was a weird/lame suprise-hostage tactic. I lowered the air pressure to temporarily cure the out-of-round and drove away relatively smooth. Id NEVER go to a tires plus again. I only go to discount now...They get 2 stars because the diagnosis was correct...
Always have the best experience when I call or need service. Wont take my car anywhere else!
I went in today assuming Id need too spend $300 to get the power steering leak fixed on my old Tahoe. They immediately offered an estimate and after 10 minutes came back and told me it was fixed and total bill was $9.99 for a simple clamps replacement. They could have told me $300 and I wouldnt know any better but theyve always been honest and fair.
Always received great service at tire plus.Courteous sales representatives. They tell you how long it will take, and are either right on, or close to it. Depend on how the job is going.Job well done 👍👍👍👍
The employees here always go above and beyond. I never regret bringing my car in, and highly recommend this location.
This was the best service I got for what I needed. They had my battery changed out quick. Would recommend this place to anybody needing work done on their auto.
Ive used this Tires Plus twice to install tires, and the installation process has gone well. I made an appointment this last time and was in and out in an hour. That said, I dont plan to use this location again based on poor customer service.I realized a couple days after the installation that I was charged for installation of series 45 tires rather than the series 65 that were actually installed. The amount of the overcharge was $11.20 total. I called the shop and was told that I was correct about the overcharge, but they can only process a refund if I bring my credit card in person. The explanation I was given is that this policy is to protect me by preventing fraud, but that doesnt make sense on a refund of a charge that was already processed. I explained that I live 20 minutes from the shop and dont have plans to be in that area again soon. I asked if there was someone with more authority I could speak with. The person I was speaking with -- Nathan -- said that he is the store manager, that this policy is set by Corporate, and that he is not willing to risk losing his job over $11.20. Nathan was polite, Ill give him that, but seriously? The store manager thinks his job would be at risk for processing an $11.20 credit card refund so a customer can avoid a major inconvenience over something that was the stores fault? If thats true, then there is something seriously wrong with the corporate culture at Tires Plus. A store manager should have the discretion to make common sense exceptions to policy without fearing for his job.Ill find a different installer that deals with its customers like they are human beings, not just a number on an invoice.
I was told my car will be done at 11 AM and it took them until noon to finish the work. 4 tires and oil change
I cannot say enough about this shop and it employees. I had my car towed there for a blown shock and alignment. With in 30mins of its arrival they called with an estimate, which was more than reasonable, and within a couple short hours the car was done. When I went to pick it up I was once again greeted with what I feel is award winning customer service. From the mechanics in the back to the front man it was an exceptional experience. I wont take my vehicle anywhere else. Between my husband and I, we had 3 visits to tires plus and all of them exceptional! Coincidence? I think not! Thank you for such great service!
We are preparing to take a vacation. Driving home from a visit before we left our check engine light came on. Because we were going on a long driving trip I fid not want to take a chance on breaking down on the road in the middle of nowhere. It was a Sunday afternoon and around 3 in the afternoon when I called Apple Valley, Minnesotas Tire plus and asked if they would have time to check the error code out. They replied they could if I would be there soon. They closed at 5 that afternoon. I dropped my wife off at home and drove there. They found the issue and also saw the transmission lines were leaking. The said they could do all the repairs our vehicle needed. They even stayed after hours to complete the repairs. I cant thank them enough. They also gave me a ride home so I could contine packing for our trip. Awesome service. So helpful and extremely friendly. They saved our vacation.
My car had a leak on one tire, and I thought I had free flat fixing with Tires Plus. I did, and they did an excellent job getting my tire replaced! Why not 5 stars then? It had to do with a battery test they performed while I waited. They claimed my battery failed the test. They claimed I needed a 750 amp battery and mine was testing 500 (the slip said 510 I believe). This didn’t sound right so I declined citing a warranty elsewhere. After searching for information online, I found out that battery manufacturers have been trying to outdo each other and batteries now come in 650, 750 and 1,000 amps. BUT my car is 11 years old, and the manufacturer required a 500 amp battery!! When I had gotten the battery I currently have, it was a 550 amp. So while the test is lower than the original rating of my battery; it is still providing the minimum cold start amps as required by the manufacturer. If I didn’t know my car, this would have qualified as a bad business practice in my opinion. Tires Plus knows Tires!! It should stay with what it knows!
Too expensive.
They cracked my windshield on a routine oil change. Didnt take ownership of the issue. Had their CC and everything. Customer lost.
Tires plus in Apple Valley did a great job for me. Good pricing, and their guys were a pleasure to deal with. I had Nathan help me and he did a great job. Highly recommend.
Good prices
Longtime Tires Plus customer here--I was treated very poorly in dispute with manger regarding an alleged flat tire at my last oil change appointment. Apparently, the customer is not always right at Tires Plus. As a direct result of this experience, I will personally never return for business with Tires Plus.
Its hard to find a good mechanic shop that you can trust. You can trust these guys. Everyone here knows what they are doing and its dont quick with pricing straight up. Jason my mechanic must know what hes doing cause my car is running great!
Noticed that my front tires were starting to show threads and started calling around fir quotes. Tires Plus (Apple Valley) was the only shop that carried my tire size (185/55 r15) in stock. They also were very competitive in price so was an easy decision. Seems to be a very professional operation.
I cant say enough great things about this place!! They were so helpful and friendly! Great workers! I recommend Tires Plus in Apple Valley. My new place to go from now on!!
They beat the competition in prices, service, and product! It is a very very busy location, but dont let that high traffic deter you because it is worth it! Staff are professional and knowledgeable.
I stopped in for an oil change. While there I asked them to check on the air-conditioning and a loud blowing fan noise. I had a previous visit at another service shop where I was told the repair for that would run to approximately $2000. Tires plus was able to restore the air conditioner to full functioning and reduce that fan noise with a recharge that ran to approximately $200. Saving me over $1800.Honesty, integrity, and value. When you have those three things with auto repair you’ve got a winner.
I had my front suspension components replaced Both tie rods both swaybar tie rods and both ball joints in the front. I am incredibly impressed how this turned out. I have a 12 year old vehicle and it has steering tightness like a new vehicle and theres no rattling over bumps and no swaying on the road. Im incredibly happy with the service and the quality of work that I received thank you.
Service was fast and they did a great job working on my vehicle. They were not pushy about suggested work.
I had a horrible experience at Firestone so I went to Tires plus, first visit was good that was about 3 years ag . Ive been to tires plus 3 times sinc . Horrible service. everytime I go for something, something else brakes on my van.... this is as very horrible place and I dont plan on ever going back.
The staff was nothing but polite and courteous during my visit. They explained other repairs needed to my vehicle, but did not once pressure me into having repairs done by them, at their shop. Very nice experience.
Great service and Nathan was very patient with our questions and his explanations!
Service can take some time when everyone comes at the same time, but great work is done here.
A RIP OFF!!!First of all, I am a skinny asian woman who obviously doesnt know much about cars.First time I came here was for oil change. They called me back saying my Toyota Siennas 3 tires had to be replaced, rack and pinion, batteries, wipers, etc. or else I can be in a ditch somewhere especially winter was coming soon. My total cost was about $1700. I went with it putting my all trust in them. I got my van a little better than it used to feel but not much. Still, it was an expensive costSecond, my other car, Chevrolet Malibus heater and air conditioner was not properly working. They told me the resistant AND the motor had to be replaced. They said the total cost was about $645 including the check up which was $100. I thought that was too much. I began to second guess their credibility and went to a local auto shop. In the local auto shop, they said the temperature sensor was the problem. My total cost was about $200 including the check up.DO NOT GO HERE !!! THIS IS A RIP OFF !!!!!
Stopped in to get a tire filled for my snow blower. took care of it quickly. Appreciate the service.
Got 4 new tires. Was told I had 3% or less left on my front pads. Since i replace them myself i purchased new pads and realized they still have more than 30% left. Not coming back here.
Nate does a great job. Honest mechanics! Jason and Chad are awesome.
We replace our winter tires to summer tires here in Tires Plus Apple Valley. My husband was disappointed with the service because they did their work very fast without care. And few days after, I told my husband something odd with our car, there is kind of vibration when braking and sometimes during normal drive even if it is like just 50mph. So we already suspected maybe because of the tire service. So he bring our car today to another tire service and yes it is because of the tires that makes the vibration. Not happy with that, it cost us more because of the poor service we had in Tires Plus.
They guys that work at the apple valley tires plus are great and super helpful! Its always nice going to mechanics that know what they are doing and experienced. Recommend them to everyone I know in the area.
I called 3 places before tires plus said they would be able to help me. I was helping a friend from out of town and I was very greatful for the help and so is my friend🎅
Customer service need to get better. If it wasn’t for your clients you wouldn’t have a company. -
Awesome people working here. Great service!
DO NOT BUY YOUR TIRES HERE! I bought 2 tires in July of 2018, after less than 10k miles one of the tires failed. They did not offer to patch it or repair it, or even look at it. The only option I was given was to buy another tire. The initial customer service was lackluster to say the least, this is just the icing on the tastes worse than rubber cake.
I took my car in to replace the tires. I picked the tires I wanted and the guy said he would rush 4 in from Bloomington. they called in a hour and I went in and the man said it would take an hour and a half. they put the car up on the hoist and took 4 tires off it and then let it set there for over a hour and half. it took way way over 2 hours before before it was finished. I swear I will never take my vehicle there again for any reason..
Great service under new management. I would recommend this store to all my family and friends.
Do not go here! I have given them multiple chances to do decent automotive work and after the final straw recently Im done going here. They decided to go ahead and perform a service on my car today that I never asked for not approved. When the manager Gabe called me about it to tell me what they had done he acted as if they had done me a favor. What kind of customer service are you providing by performing unnecessary services on a vehicle which you were never approved to do the service on in the first place!?! Shady and rude!
Very helpful and courteous. Adam helped me personally and let me know what was going on with my vehicle along the way. Thanks guys!
I had an appointment for an oil change at 5pm on Friday 2 weeks ago. They called and asked me to switch it due to how backed up they had become. I agreed thinking its only an oil change, I dont mind waiting a few days. I bring it in early on the following Monday for my new appointment time and they ask if Im dropping it off or staying around to wait for it. I let them know Im staying at I have no other mode of transport. They tell me thats fine and it should be about an hour before its done and they will call me. I walk around town for 2 hours and no call. I make my way back there and see my car in the same spot. I figure they must have finished by now and just havent called me yet. When I go to the counter and ask them about it the guy gets very short and asks well, have we called you yet? I say no but when I dropped it off I was told it would be back in about 15 minutes and take no more than an hour to do. Its been over 2 hours now. Without saying anything, he goes in back, grabs a form, and tells me, itll be the next one back and it should take about an hour. I know this isnt a big deal, but when he started acting like I was inconvienecing him when I thought I was helping by switching my appointment for them is why I decided to write this.
These guys are awesome! They were able to put my snowblower tire back on the rim after Discount Tire refused to help. Tires Plus was quick, efficient and best of all, they did it at no charge. Thank you guys!
Tires Plus Total Car Care Tried to Bully Me Into Buying 8 TiresAs I think of putting my all-year tires on the self for our coming winter and switching to my snow tires for travel, I am reminded of my experience at Tires Plus in Apple Valley, MN this spring. It was the most derogatory customer experiences as a women that I can remember ever having. The entire negative experience was with the store manager pushing new sales on me for 8 tires. Once he had my car on the lift, to take my snow tires off, he refused to put my existing all season set on, saying that they were too worn and that I had to buy another set before getting my car back. Now, while I had purchased my Bizzak Snow Tires there, I had purchased my Michelin Premier all-season tires at Costco. And after many years of buying and caring for my tires, I am not just an ignorant woman who is going to buy new tires early from this man without a good reason to.Just because he had my car up in the air, and I couldnt drive away, was no reason in my mind to be bullied so. After a long interruption in my business day of going over many tire purchase options he tired to force on me, and I declined, he finally put my all-season tires on.I drove straight to Costco and asked them to test these same tires and that I would purchase a new full set if there was any risk of them being too worn to use. After the test, they estimated that I still had two full years of wear and that there was NO reason to buy new tires.I then had Torys Auto Care assess both sets, and they said that given the good thread left, they do not recommended new tires at that point. While the Tires Plus store manager insisted that my snow tires needing replacing too, both second opinions estimated this set had up to one more years full wear in them.Even more atrocious, this Tires Plus store manager had both my snow tires and my all season tires - 8 tires - piled as trash. Nothing like having to retrieve your tires from a trash bin before leaving!!!I will never ever give my dollars to Tires Plus again.I write this now in hopes to steer another person from blindly believing Tires Plus. Measure your tired thread depth. If you dont have a thread gauge in your glove box, do the penny test. Or get second opinion first.
I went there to swap a winter tires with a regular once and the sale representative at this site comes up with the most bizarre company rules not to do so. I called another Tires Plus site ( Burnsville)and they told me that they dont have such kind of company rules and they would gladly do the swap for me. I would not suggest this site for any kind of services.
They were able to get me in at the last minute when they were fully booked and they were super helpful.
I wish could give less than One star. Was looking to replace my tires, but the guy who attempted to help showed no interest and unwillingness! Had to walk straight out.
A little wait to check in. Then speedy service. Very friendly. Said they price match tires.
Great customer service
Guy who answers the phone and deals with walk in customers might be the most friendly person I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Service is quick and priced fair.
I bought lifetime alignment plan for both of my cars ... i usually take my cars 3 4 times a year ... Im okay with their service not very above and beyond ... sometime I even think they just dont do anything and make fool out of me that they have done the alignment ... but again Im not mechanic ... but I just dont feel any difference in driving ... couple of times I mentioned that I feel my car is pulling ti the left ... they listen but nothing really happens even after alignment ... who knows what they do or dont once they take my car back ...
Staff is friendly however prices are too high. I am glad I got a second opinion for repair which will save me over $400.00 definitely do your research and get a second opinion.
Great place if you want to get tires or any mechanic work done
Great service, prompt attention, helpful and honest manager. Would recommend to anyone!
So I came in to get a wheel alignment and 2 new tires, was told all the front end steering parts were bad (not the problem with them kinda new that) was told couldnt do alignment (again not the problem I had with them) had them give me the quote for fixing it with the cost of all the parts, which I asked for the top of the line parts, I was quoted for the cheap parts and I kno this because of the part numbers they gave me with the prices I looked up. They basically double the price of the parts from everywhere else and quoted me for the cheap parts which was not what I was told the quote was gonna be for (this was where my problem was) in my opinion do ur due diligence and shop around and make sure you get a paper copy of the quote and take it places, the other mechanics will get a good laugh out of it.Just my experience I wont b going back there!
Great service from Gabriel and his crew for getting my tires serviced sooner than expected for not having an appointment.
Great customer service, and happy with everything they did. Went above and beyond
Scammed and I can prove it! I went to Tire Plus last month to see if they can fix my front axle which seems to have metal scraping against each other whenever I turned the car to the left or right. I was told that I needed to replace the hub cap and ball joints, plus the entire fix would cost nearly $1000. My dad and I went to our own garage to see if we could find the problem. To our surprise it was actually just a metal piece that was scraping together, the part was only $12, and the fix only took less than an hour. My dad says this was not the first time tire plus tried to scam him. Never come here unless you want to throw away your money.
Updated. Now I see the other side. They patched a hole in my tire. It started leaking 2 months later and they said my valve stem must be rusted and they want $80. I have less that 18,000 miles on my truck and it is rusted. I think not. Discount tire just sent my my invoice to get the same issue fixed.... $0.00Because of all the bad reviews I have avoided this place even though its right next to my work. I have been here 3 times some basic stuff and had a good experience each time.
Great work done on my car! Very happy with it
Poor communication. Had a scheduled an appointment for 11am and at 11:45 my car hadnt even been moved yet to the garage. Had to leave and reschedule. If they are super behind schedule, they should communicate that to the customer and give them a heads up. Just a thought. Not a fan of this place now.
Garry went to get new tires on the pickup truck at Tires Plus in Apple Valley the other day and while that was being done, they called to inform him that 3 ball joints needed to be replaced, brake pads were down to 1 cm, and I think they said tie rods were bad. They wanted $1800.00 to have it all done, on top of the $900.00 for the tires for a whopping total of $2700.00! I said are you fricking kidding me? I dont think so!!! Garry took it to our regular mechanic, and just got a call from him and told him everything is tight, no problems with ball joints or tie rods, and there is still 50% left on brake pads. He said there is no reason to do these services at this time. I want everyone to know, not to go there they will try to rip you off! If it wasnt for us needing tires on a weekend before the snow hit last Sunday we wouldnt of gone there to begin with. Of course Garry waits until the last second to tell me we need tires if Im going to go out plowing. I did call around and the tires were pretty much the same price all over, and he needed it done that day, so they did that for us. Ok, Im done ranting now :)
Great service. Very knowledgeable.
Had my car for over 8 hours just to change my tires. Didn’t decide to call me until two hours before close to notify my that my old tires were unusable and that I had to buy new ones. Then when I picked up my vehicle, they had scratched the paint off my rims and got dirt all over my door.
Fast and affordable, great customer service! Will bring car there again!!
Fantastic service, very nice and stayed late to fix my car the night it broke down (even though they were very busy) because I didnt have another way to get home which was 40 mins away
They treated me great. Gave me a great deal.
Made an online appointment on Monday, the manager politely asked if I could be picked up rather than wait since (Online option to choose) they were 2 hours behind. Instead of waiting or getting a ride, i rescheduled. Friday to wait. The same person didnt recognize me and said the exact same thing. I waited and its been almost an hour and they still havent taken my vehichle to the shop to inspect it. By the way, only 1 tire needs to be balanced under a warranty. I understand busy shops but this is an obvious practice and when you schedule an online appointment, you get a follow up notifocation that stats the shop has confirmed the appointment. Youd think they could determine their schedule with all this info. Its 76 degrees on a Friday afternoon, so yes, Im a little bitter that Im not enjoying a beverage on the patio yet..
Made an appt and was told 30-40 minutes. Waited with an infant and toddler and 30 minutes later they hadn’t even started the car and said it would be another 10mins before starting. Zero value for your time and making an appt is useless..you will still be waiting a good 2 hours.
Amazing experience. Most of the negative reviews are several years old, so obviously they have turned things around - and none of them really related to tires. I just purchased 4 new tires for my 2014 Odyssey (factory set was awful) and had a great experience with TP in Apple Valley. Staff was very professional and courteous, price and quality of the new tires was excellent, and free lifetime balancing and rotation with purchase. Also, it took 1hr 20 mins and I simply asked about the 59 min guarantee and they confirmed the check in time and told me I qualified, so they took the $59 off the final bill - no questions asked! This is the first time Ive purchased 4 new tires in 20 years, and I couldnt be happier with the quality, service and price. Next stop is replacing our other vehicles 4 tires which need to be replaced desperately. I finally have the confidence now to know where to go for all of my future tire needs!
These people always take so long with everything and they have messed up on so much stuff that you dont even need to be a mechanic to know. I could have worked faster with my car jack and cinder blocks
Extremely long wait time on a simple job.
Decent service
Quick service that goes above and beyond.
The best friendly service ever. ..never feel pressured
Although the front desk reps are nice. Very poor customer service by service techs in the garage. So disappointed in the service and the way the way they treat my car, I get yelled at for bringing it up!!! So rude.
I initially brought my car into TiresPlus Apple Valley to get 4 new tires and an oil change. That night went to drive my car and the temperature gauge spiked and there was no heat. Called immediately the next morning to find out what Tires Plus had to say. I was very skeptical about what they would do based on the previous feedback I have read about the Apple Valley location and I let them know this - which of course they were aware. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! Because I didnt want to drive the car to make it worse and the temperature gauge was moving towards the Hot mark. They offered to send a tow truck and pick up the car and if I wasnt satisfied with what they said would tow it to another mechanic. The tow truck came within the hour and they found it was a cap that wasnt tightened when the mechanic checked the coolant. They filled the coolant and delivered the car by 11:30am all fixed - NO CHARGE to me. Thought they did a GREAT job and I will bring my car back again. Everyone makes mistakes, it is just how we go about fixing that mistake that makes a difference. Thanks Tires Plus for doing a great job.
Went to just purchase tires. Next thing I know they call and had broke aTPSS and wanted to sock me $124.00 each for four of them. Wasnt 3 minutes later they called and stated the alignment was out and wanted to charge for that. I just had it aligned 6 months ago. The final straw was when I picked up the car they wanted to make sure I understood that because they determined the alignment was out my warranty on the tires was void. Never again! What a rip off! Avoid this place at all cost!!! Would not even give them one star but that is as low as youcan rate.
Quoting me over $1700.00 for $500.00 worth of work that ACTUALLY needed to be done, wouldnt trust this shop with my bicycle! If you want a real tires plus with good customer service, go to Shakopee by WalMart.
