Five stars because the quality, service, cleanliness and politeness are all excellent. Parking is plentiful. The Food Court provides excellent high quality Asian style plates with large portion sizes. I suggest ordering by the plate number, e.g., A7, to avoid language confusion. In my last visit, neither the Hispanic or the Asian were even remotely fluent in English. Since Arcadia was Mexico until 1848 and Spain 30 years before that, maybe Im the one who wasnt fluent in the native language.

Cashiers friendly. The guy was nice and helpful at customer service and lead me to what l am looking for. Produced food clean. The whole store appears dark. But it is fun for searching. Korean goods were seen mostly.

Nice and well stocked korean market. They have a lot of great items and a wonderful fish market. I have been looking for live king crab for quite a while and they had the biggest live crabs I have ever seen. How the hell can you cook it? The picture doesnt do it justice. They f.....n huge.

Who doesn’t love a good Asian market with yummy prepared foods, a bakery, and restaurants inside?We come for the kimbap and hot pre-packaged foods like japchae, kimchi pancake, sweet potatoes, and so much more! There’s also boiled squid and pork belly in the cold section. But we stay to shop for Korean groceries.This place is side dish heaven! Grab a bunch of ban chan and you’ve got 5 min dinners for the rest of the week- just cook rice!HMart is the ONLY place I can find Mr Kinchi branded instant noodles! If you haven’t tried it, they sell it as an individual cup or bowl! The serving size in the cup is pretty dinky so opt for the bowl if you have more of an appetite. It’s like stir fried style kimchi ramen.The produce section is a hit or miss. I see flies/gnats often but there’s a lot of variety.Not so much organic vegetables or fruit.Last time we went, I noticed that they had a good amount of other Asian grocery items that would typically be found at a ranch 99 so that is good to know cuz it’ll save you a trip! Ex: Chinese bbq sauce for hot pot.There’s a bakery inside that sells baked pastries and boba tea drinks.The restaurant dining area is small but there were at least two different vendors.

This is my go-to place for Asian ingredients, however, be careful about the quality here. I bought two packages of lo mein noodles at this location and found out they were both covered in mold while cooking dinner- dinner ruined. I called and was told I had to drive over to get any refund, not doing that, so posting here instead.

Really good food at the food court!!! Get your meals there and buy some drinks and dessert while you wait

This is a great place to shop. Its got everything! Very diverse, multicultural, clean, bright and employees are very friendly. Well stocked, free parking and RR are available. They arr following Covid-19 safety guidelines and regulations so make sure to wear a mask.

Great Asian grocery with a food court inside too. Bring a debit card, they dont have many registers for cash. I will definitely be going back.

The store really stinks. But they have the best fish and meat. Everything is so fresh here. There meat is fresh and very good and so is the fish here. Fruits and vegetables are fresh....the only thing I dont like is everytime I ask a question nobody can answer me. Nobody speaks English. Its so frustrating . Other than. That the store is good.

You get all your Asian staples with an emphasis on Korean groceries. The place is clean but a little priceier than the competition. Still, it s very convenient to have a mega Asian market in the area. Their food court has some decent itemd if you choose the right spot.

Good & Bad.Good: Varieties of items, clean inside, nice display, reasonable prices on many items, and good parking space.Bad: Unhappy employees, employees talking loud during work, employees smoking outside of the supermarket (smell terrible), carts are not cleaned and sanitized, and the reward program is the worst one compared to other supermarkets.I will still shop there, but I am hoping that lots of shoppers are watching those employees behaviors and attitudes.

It is nice to see H Mart here since not many Korean markets in the San Gabriel Valley.There are a small food court and bakery inside the market. I love they have fresh sashimi. However, on the weekends, the sushi station doesnt get restock fast enough.The Parking: Plaza parking with other retailers. Always packed during weekends. Thank God there is a 2 stories parking structure behind the market. (Free)

You want quality meats, you go here. The prices are affordable to some degree and the supermarket is decently clean. Be careful during holidays because they will sell out on meat.

I bought two boxes of sashimi and ask the sashimi associate for one more soybean sauce . He denied with very bad attitude and told me it’s enough.What a brutal service!!!!!So, I put sashimi back and won’t buy sashimi in h mart any more.

This market is wonderful. If you are looking to purchase Asian food then this is the place. The prices are good. If you want lower prices on selected items than original price items i suggest you sign up for the H Mart card. You get discounts and that means saving a bit. They also have a food court there. But you have to come at a certain time. The food court has five places to choose from. They also have a place that makes delicious drinks. My suggestion is try one place at a time and see what you favor.

I love it to be very organized and I enjoyed shopping with ease. The seafood and meats were pretty fresh, you got plenty of choices and had a good price comparing to other markets so I love it!

Great place to shop. Skip the front parking and go straight to the extra parking to the side. The cashiers are kind and helpful. The selection is amazing. Great premade sides of you miss that kbbq experience and want it at home. Everyone is wearing masks including the customers. Shopping experience feels pandemic safe.

Hmart in Arcadia has been solid for me! Pretty big selection of items and very clean market! Dont need to drive to Koreatown anymore, good for residents in San Gaberial Valley!

Good place to get your asian food, drinks and supplies. From Taiwanese, Japanese, Thai and Korean. Even hard to find items are here. Highly recommend you stop by and get your items here.

Great variety of food and other items to purchase, some items are over priced others reasonably priced plus some really great restaurants and boutiques inside the store as well. Definitely a great place to shop.

Visit this restaurant area katsu curry and chicken for lunch and it didnt disappoint. Maybe I will stop here again.

Coming to Hmart is a fun experience. There’s always something new every time I go. Even week to week. From the time you enter the door to the time you leave, there are staff members sampling different foods, fruits, desserts etc. Better than Costco I might add. I love that the staff giving out samples always have the product right next to them. In other stores you either have to go find the product yourself or they may have ran out of the product if it’s good. You won’t run into that problem here. Staff are always helpful and seem happy. Fresh produce and all items around the store are always and I mean ALWAYS fully stocked. Staff are always helpful and seem happy. There’s so many options and the store is quite big so you may get overwhelmed the first time. I’ve discovered many items I didn’t even know existed. I would like to add that if you are in search for ginger root, the best place to find it is here @ Hmart. I would also like to add that the whole store is clean and neat/organized. There are a few restaurants in the back of the store (which I’ve yet to try) but they all look promising and delicious. Prices on items seem fair especially for this area. I can’t think of any downfalls with this store.

Shabuya for a family of 4 is pretty expensive. However going here to get the same amount of food was a bit less expensive. Extremely wide selection of options for any event is what will make me go back.

Its a big korean supermarket. However, its not organized. Total chaos. No employees to get help. I had to wait 20 mins at the meat section, another 15 mins at the side dishes section. When I tried, in korean, asking about a product, this employee didnt know what I was talking about. Go to H Mart on Diamond Bar if you can. Smells terrible. Very low on many products. Unfriendly employees. Dont unless you dont have any other choice.

Very impressed with the COVID procedures vs my local H Mart in Cary, NC. Same product selection as at home helped it all feel consistent and familiar. 😊

A great selection of chinese ingredients, fruits and utensils. It has bakery too, but the a bit pricey. The fruits prices are very good deals, especially the oranges. Inside the store, there is also a food counter (or rather a freshly-cooked food stall) which is always busy and fully seated. Utensils tend to be a bit pricey. The produce staffs are super duper friendly and understand what we want.

It is well stocked, but the produce section is more designed for Chinese customers because vegetables are a lot fresher than the South Korean vegetables.

It was a nice place to go, there are a few shops inside the store. The American stuff is twice as expensive as the asian stuff. Other than that it is a very nice place to shop . It was our 1st time there. We went for the butter waffles. They are delicious!!!!

My empression of this H mart was the worst one: Expensive & lost Korean touch. It was an early morning, about 9:10 a.m. As we were turning a corner of an aisle in the store, wed encountered a H Mart worker (Pictured). This gentleman didnt budge to observe 6 feet and plowed through us. Then we paid a cashier at the check out. One of my party spoke in Korean to a Korean looking man ( cashier) on the counter. Well. The cashier responded bluntly I do not speak Korean. Well. Well.Well. What happened professionalism also traditional Korean grocery flavors?

I love HMart! It is my go to store for authentic Chinese, Korean, Japanese ingredients. The veggies are well prices and fresh. The meats are superb.

Very cute and beautiful stuff here, veggie cut rolls, bulgolgi cut rolls, all kinds of kimchi, beef for KBBQ, fresh produce, snacks, candy. Its a field trip.

This is an update for the unbelievably and extremely unprofessional and rude customer service which I had experienced around 12:30 yesterday, 1/14/2021.I appreciate the hard work of the store owner, the managers, and some of the staffs. However, this review cannot be hidden because this is the true fact! I appreciated the young male cashier help when I was at the check-out area. But how can some staffs sneered and rudely said, No one loves her!? This was the second time I heard this extremely negative and violent message at this store. I didnt write a review the first time I heard it also at the check-out area!Polite, friendly, and respectful customer service is always the No. 1 priority for any businesses! Attacking any customers who never verbally and physically hurt any of the H-Mart staffs is absolutely unacceptable!!!Your loyal customers, prospect customers, and random customers spend so much money at your store, how can the staffs verbally attack their customers!?

I love shopping at H mart. This location is very clean and organized. The worker in the front actually took the time to wipe down the shopping cart. It really makes me feel at ease to shop here during the pandemic. However, the cashiers are always very rude. This past weekend, a cashier name Hyun Kook Kim was being exceptionally rude. He did not clean the surface before I put my food down. Walked away in the middle of the checking out process to god knows where and came back. Does not want to scan my H mart card. And mind you, the whole checking out process not even a word. I did not feel valued or welcomed as a customer at this point. Or he just simply doesnt want to work and taking it out at the customer. H mart, you can do better.

Stay away from Sogongdong, not because of the food, but the service.

First time here, and I didn’t spend enough time to say it was a 5 star. Will definitely be back!

One of my My favorite place to shop. This location has replaced my need to go to 99 Ranch.Never crowded. Very safe. The staff is really nice compared to 99 Ranch. The best restaurants (Korean, Chinese, Pho, Japanese, Chicken, etc). Ive almost tried all of them. They also have an amazing bakery.They have all of the Japanese food staples I need and a fantastically fresh veggies and fruit area.I was recommended this location. I would definitely recommend this location.

Tons of fresh produce, much of which you dont find in a standard market, all kinds of meats, and a large seafood counter. Lots of traditional Asian foods and fare.

Sogongdong Tofu & Bbq Inside H Mart has the worst tofu soup dish!!Just bought the tofu with seafood and beef. The tofu is so little! All I see is water!! Not worth of $12.12!!Never buy food from Sogongdong Tofu & Bbq!!

Store is clean and service is ok. But I had bad experience buying fresh vegetables. The prepackaged Yuchoy Tip looks fine from the outside, but when open there were yellowish slimy ones hidden inside. Almost half of the bag is yellowish and not fresh.

I just absolutely love this place. It has everything I need to create Korean dishes. As well as a good produce section. The fish and meat part of the store are outstanding. The in store restaurants are an added bonus too. This market is a wonderful experience.

I love this location. Its my local grocery store. I love the staff! And it is usually stocked when I go in the morning. I think theyre doing the best they can during these trying times. They have a wonderful cleaning crew that is constantly hustling during these crazy times.

Clean and bright supermarket. Wide variety of fresh products and they are in deed pretty fresh. The deli options are also very nice. There are also a nice bakery and some nice restaurants in this supermarket.

This is by far the cleanest Asian supermarket in Arcadia. Especially important now that the new normal is here.

Theres plenty of Chinese supermarkets already in this area so its great to see a significantly sized Korean focused Grocery instead. Its not the greatest Asian grocery around these parts but its good enough and a welcome change.

The customer service is really bad, always give the attitude to the customer.Their customer service department business hour is 9 am, not the 8 am market opening time. The people who need the support, need to wait until 9 am. They also give out the red envelope with a purchase of $30. When I asked where I can receive the envelope from, the lady told me to wait in line on the other side. There was no one on the other side to give out the envelope and it was a long waiting time.People also need to watch out for the price of the ad and also the price in-store. There was an item on sale on the ad, when we check out, the price was still the regular price. I brought it to the customer service area and pointed out the price issue. The lady told me that the price was from the last promo ad. After I show the lady from the newsletter, then she refunds the difference.And also need to watch out the expiration day on the product, sometimes they are still selling the expired products.

Great Korean market you can find anything you want here..plus they have small shops for take out food.

H Mart has a great selection of Korean and other Asian products. The fresh produce section is also great. They have most of the regular american products too so its possible to do all my grocery shopping there. The store is always clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. I especially love the food court and the Tous Les Jours bakery there.
