Pretty poor treatment of in store customers. Been there many times to buy jewelry. Today they would gladly allow shopping, but not use of their restroom. Ended up having to drive several blocks to use another businesses restroom that they directed me to. Other businesses have their bathrooms open, why not Holly?

I have bought dozens and dozens of pieces from them over the years & was a very loyal customer, spreading the word. I purchased several of their pearl & earrings necklaces in various colors recently (Julianna) for myself and for gifts...and the pearls are falling off. In the past they always took care of any problems quickly and were eager to please the customer. I felt very taken care of. I have to say the representatives I spoke to on the phone this past month were lukewarm in terms of dealing with the problem. They said they would send a replacement and it never arrived. I called back today and they offered to resend it (lets see if it happens) and gave me very perfunctory responses. I am rethinking my loyalty because I was left feeling like they dont care much. This might be the last piece I buy. I hope whoever deals with customer service reads this and talks to their reps.Addendum: The management immediately contacted me to apologize and sent me a gift & a replacement item. This is the service I am used to...on their way back to 5 stars

My niece took me for breakfast and a tour of Downtown Arcata. After we walk and showed me the “Dairy” district and the Holly Yasmi Factory and Store. What a wonderful place. In the store we were graciously meet by Ms. Kristin. She told us about the factory and showed us the store. I am very impressed by the beautiful jewelry and items that Holly Yashi has to offer. Love this store!! Bought this set of rings the other day I’m in love!! The store is amazing the jewelry is spectacular when you walk in they offer you a beverage. They have something for everyone they even offer a tour of the jewelry making process! Will definitely be coming back and adding more pieces to my collection!!

Very nice employees. Short but informative tour -- 20% discount on jewelry for tour attendees. They will also do small customizations on purchased jewelry like shortening bracelets or changing earring hooks.

Beautiful jewelry, exceptionally friendly owners and clerks, who provide help without hovering. Even though we missed the tour of the whole operation, they still showed the coloring process. I was pleasantly surprised to find pieces I loved in my fairly low price range.

The jewelry is beautiful to look at, BUT one pair of “silver” earrings I purchased tarnished immediately— and no silver cleaner/polish would fix it. I did get the earrings replaced by the company, so kudos to them for that but here’s where I have to knock a star or two off of my review... the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I now only use their catalog to show to my husband for the “guess how much THIS costs?!” game. Expect to pay for semi-precious stones and metal prices (aka $200+ for a necklace and often ~$100 earrings).

Have loved Holly Yashi jewelry for years and had the opportunity to take a tour. Ellen did an amazing job explaining the process. It gave me a new appreciation for my jewelry. After the tour you can browse their products with no pressure. Ellen was available to answer questions and help find what I needed. It was a fun experience and Id highly recommend it when your are in Arcata, California.

DO NOT BUY THEIR MYSTERY BOX!! IT IS A BIG RIPOFF ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE ARE NO RETURNS! I ordered it, and was sent 3 pairs of virtually the same earrings. Same color, same design (feather). Only difference was size. When I posted my review, the only thing customer service had to say, was that the items were non-returnable, and suggest that I give them away as gifts. Seriously?!! That is NOT good customer service.

I return time and time again, alone and with friends and guests from out of town. Holly and her team offer the best customer service. Their unique designs are amazing. If you are visiting the area please take a moment to stop by and have a “Holly Yashi” experience. Take the tour, enjoy a coffee or some tea. If you are local don’t forget there are right in your own back yard. They also have a great selection of clothing and other fun items. I highly recommend a stop here.

I love Holy Yashi products. I was greeted and asked if I wanted an espresso drink or cold drink as I explored. Im so grateful for the excellent service received! It was fun to see them making the jewelry. I highly recommend this place.

I absolutely LOVE Holly Yashi. Every single time I visit Arcata California I have to stop in and never leave without a pair for myself and my mother, she has over 50 pairs. The ladies there are so welcoming offering something to drink when you arrive hot tea, coffee, cappuccino and even hot chocolate for little ones that may be with you. They answer any questions you may have and have a huge selection to choose from. You will never go wrong stopping in here even if its just to have something beautiful to look at.

Spent 2 hours, cause it was the main purpose for the 3 day trip. Of course everyone was very helpful yet not pushy. Beautiful things and some you cant get on line. I hope to make it back some day.

Something of an institution that might have sold out. Good parking outside to visit what is essentially the factory shop. However there is so much stuff and people it is hard to see. Holly Yashi the jewellery is very good stuff all made on the premises but the shop is a cavernous confusing assortment of touristy stuff. I ended up buying Holly Yashi gifts at the airport.

I love to visit their store whenever I am in town. I not only love their jewelry but enjoy the additional items that complement their jewelry so nicely. I also like that you can wander over and see folks working on making jewelry during the week.

Some of their products are cool, the jewelry is gaudy and I guess if you want to look like you’re on the cast of The Real Housewives of A Midwest trailer park then by all means this is your store. The staff is ridiculous, rude, intrusive, I’m assuming it’s a not a commissioned based job.

First class style with an artisan touch. I could have stayed for hours, but we were on to our next adventures.

And their staff is so welcoming, friendly and helpful too.We are visiting the area and decided to elope here. Holly Yashi helped me customize several items for the ceremony and I purchased the cutest gifts to give my daughter for the week leading up to the big day.We consider this a must stop and shop place in Arcata!Thank you Holly Yashi for EVERYTHING!

Staff explains where things are and provides guests with lined trays to place items you may be interested in. As this location also houses Holly Yashis design, assembly, manufacturing, shipping, etc. facility, the selection of goods is tremendous -- Everything in their current lines, one of a kind items, and vintage designs are available. If you are looking for a particular item, color or design, just ask the helpful staff. Your purchases are carefully wrapped in beautiful gift bags and come with a card explaining the companys story. Prices range from about $20 on up. If one has time, be sure to take a tour of the facility. You learn about the companys origins, growth and see first hand how these beautiful creations are made. If you are into jewelry, it is a great way to spend an afternoon while visiting Arcata and the greater Humboldt area.

I had a great time visiting the studio/store. My husband told me to take my time and that he would wait in the car. A staff member (who happened to look like a fashion model) delivered a complementary latte and chocolate to the car. I had plenty of time to pick out the perfect pair of Holly Yashi earrings. We totally laugh about it when we talk about that trip.

Loved my visit to the store and continued to place online orders. I recently requested a repair and my request was declined with no explanation. Perhaps Holly Yashi is now consumer based, not customer based? Unsubscribed to emails - will buy local from artists that will accommodate repairs.

Recently purchase the Elara necklace when we were on a trip to Mendocino, CA and regretted not buying any matching earrings. So when I got home I ordered the Gardenia earrings and they just arrived! They are so beautiful! I just love all the pieces and plan to have a nice collection in the future! Truly beautiful well crafted and unique jewelry at a very affordable price! Love it!

So many wonderful pretty things to look at they give tours at I believe 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. of the jewelry making part the store they have wonderful gifts reused materials that are turned into beautiful chandeliers must go in and see everything I will definitely be going back

I bought a Holly Yashi bracelet from a jeweler in Folsom. It was a Celebration bracelet, very colorful and fun but rather pricey. I wore it one night, the night I bought it, to dinner at a buffet type restaurant. When leaving, I glanced at my wrist and it was gone. I searched the busy restaurant but never found it. I believe the clasp or one of the links was defective so it just literally fell off without me realizing. I contacted the company directly and they didnt want to replace it. I wont buy this brand again because they dont back their product. I have never lost a bracelet before, and I lost this one the very day I bought it!

When I moved to the bay area, on an adventure in Marin, I stumbled across this jewellery & immediately fell in love! Had to buy a pair of earrings & long since lost one. On drive up to redwood national park saw many roadside signs & told my BF we MUST stop there. Upon arrival were greeted with may I get you a cappuccino or tea. The displays are incredible like you walked into a different land. Met the owner herself.....continued to ask my self where are we, cause we sure dont get service like this in the bay area! Loved that you could watch them making the stuff in the back studio! Staff recomeded great cider place around the corner! Love my new earrings!
