I have been using Bubbles shaving soaps for 39 years. Yep. Thats right. Thirty-nine years. Ten years ago, we moved 800 miles away from Humboldt County, and while Ive tried other brands of shaving soap, I always go back to Bubbles. Theyre the best. Ive even got my grandson hooked on Bubbles shaving soaps.

I needed a gift for a friend in the hight of covid. Bubbles was not open to the public as they were doing some remodeling. I was able to place an order over the phone and they brought my items out to my car when I arrived. They were so friendly and helpful. Please buy local and support this local business.

I have worked at Bubbles for nearly 23 years. I purchased the store in October of 2019 from Vicky, the original owner of 46 years. Bubbles is a local institution and a huge part of our Humboldt county family many of whom are far flung around the world. Its a huge sense pride and responsibility I have to continue this legend of a shop. We have the best customers in the world!

Love their traditional, natural bath products.Not crazy about some of their spiritual or political merchandise...but, it is arcata.

Great selection of essential oils, as well as unscented shampoos, massage oils, etc to which Bubbles will add the scent of your choice. You can also blend scents, they will write down your blend so you can get the same one again later, and you get a discount for refills. Weve been customers for 20 years but live out of town, so whenever were in town, we stock up on a 2-year supply!

Great place to buy bath supplies. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the face lotions. The shop let me take home samples to find the lotion best fit for my skin. When I wanted to buy a large size jar of lotion that was unavailable I was given a discount for two smaller jars. Thank you!

Great small business!Placed an order online Monday, received it by Friday. They did a beautiful job assembling my gift basket, and tossed in some dried flowers. Handwritten thank you on the receipt.Products are great and obviously made with love ;)Only bit I would ask is to upgrade the website!
