Tom Thumb on Collins Street in Arlington has everything your heart desires. We came to this location because it actually carried Cleaning Vinegar, which other stores did not. While meandering around the store we saw plenty if products that caught our eye and stomachs eye. We especially were intrigued by the baked pastries and frozen pastries.

This Tom Thumb is very clean with a good variety of fresh foods, etc.. the staff is always friendly and willing to help you.

Very convenient for me since I happen to live within walking distance. Produce is fresh and sometimes they do have good sales. One thing to note, always use their rewards card when shopping otherwise youll be paying a substantial mark-up.

I bought stuff in the store and then drove across the parking lot to take advantage of my $0.70 off gallon of gas, but they dont allow you to buy it immediately. You have to wait 30 minutes for it to be in the system... How is it 2021 and you cant update the system in less than 30 minutes? What a joke...

8:00 on a Saturday and I had to check my own groceries for a family of 4 for a week. More expensive than every other store and no cashiers working. Staff was rude and condescending as well.

Super clean! Well stocked and staffed. They have the most beautiful floral arrangements and everything in the bakery looks so tempting so I bought a little extra!

To all, this is my favorite store, but the customer services is horrible!!! Can’t deal with customers services attitude y’all, maybe need to find someone else who really enjoys working there . I got money ! But when I return a bad product and had to go through unnecessary process to get a good one, they act like your are begging. Well I left the store very disappointed.The store just kept my money and I will find me a store where the customer come first. SAD .

I shop this store on a regular basis and the last few visits i tied to get some Oysters, however they have been out. Was told a truck was coming in, come back the next day and still nothing. Just went again this past Saturday, and called on Monday, and was told that they still havent received any. Very frustrating when you get but what you need, and the employees dont seem to care at all, spoke with someone from the meat department, however that was a waste of my time

Good looking store.Items are shelved in such an appealing manner, its a joy to look at. Store is clean at all times and I find most items I need.Nonetheless, items tend to be more expensive than those at the average store.Customer service?Not the best but no complaints here. Im a get-in-get-out type of shopper.Huge parking lot with curbside pickup area.Slow-paced to moderately busy environment, so dont expect a crowded store.

My go to grocery store. I know where everything is and the prices arent terrible. Im glad they finally opened up both entrances. Not sure how making people enter and exit from the same door encourages social distancing. No matter as that has been changed. Customer service here is basic. No complaints. Store manager was very unprofessional and instead of helping he assumed and treated me as if I was lying about a previous sale that over charged me by 5 dollars.When I came in and asked for the difference was told that sale never existed and insinuating I was lying instead of looking at the previous sale page.I live within less then a mile from there and shop there almost every other day.Im a budget shopper as well as watch the sales for deals too good to be true do to the fact they put things on sale to clear the shelfs of product that doesnt sale.So instead of treating my situation and concerns of being over charged by $5 and looking into to it he insisted that the sale didnt exist.It was a buy one get the second half off.I bought the items because of that sale alone and instead of looking at the previous sale he walked me out the store insinuating I was lying and told me never to return to his store.This was the store manager Tommy RossThis situation and they way he handled the situation was very unprofessional and down right appalling considering it was easier to claim something he didnt even look into and discriminating against me as if Im lying about a sale that overcharged me $5.This economy $5 is taking from my families dinner table that I spend at least $250 a week at this very store.Instead of listening and looking for anything that would show what the previous sale was he spoke in a unpleasant attitude stating that that sale never existed and said its always been buy 2 get one half off.So to end this I got upset at the way he not only treated me with discrimination as if I was a their and lier he walked me out of the store and told me I could never return to His store.His name again Tommy Ross and be weary of him because he may just discriminate against you and this neighborhood that is of ethnic diversity.This happened on 04/14/2021 a few days after I came in to inform them I was overcharged hey it happens the system sometimes misses these things.I came in few days after due to kidney problems so I came in to get treated very horrible by the store manager.He came up and seemed upset for some reason before we even spoke his body language, posture and tone was already in a negative attitude and got worse when I tried to explain to him and then ask him just to check the previous sales page he refused and was belittling as if theres not a possible chance their system over charged and didnt register the sale or even look.Not one effort made to see if I could be right instead he chose to belittle and insinuate I was lying.

Good deals!! One of the workers saw me looking distressed in the store while trying to find an item listed on the app and she immediately came to help! She helped me find the item and also showed me some cool features on the app! I appreciate that! Good service makes me want to come back! Also, theres a nice, short, African American lady that works in the deli. She was so nice and informative on items I hadnt tried before!

This is the best Tom Thumb store in Arlington, and I prefer this one over the one on Randoll Mill/N. Fielder, or other Albertson locations. The store is very clean and organized, the store layout is quite easy to get around as well. The cashiers here are really nice too, which is is hard to see in todays world.

I love the cashiers here (especially Alicia, Patrice and Bernie), and Amelia is always friendly.

Love this grocery store. We need one here in South Carolina. I do suggest that you guys carry more traditional foods. I visited TX for Christmas & New Year. Why did I have to go to 4 stores and NOBODY had field peas for Hop and John? Nobody had smoked turkey (I dont eat pork). It was very frustrating not being able to carry on my New Years tradition. This was the first time in 40 yrs.

First, I love this location and am extremely disappointed that I have to write this review. Ive lived in the area for three years and come to this Tom Thumb at least twice a week. Your team is normally really friendly and helpful, so what happened today is unfortunate.Today (May 20, 2021) around 6:40am, I stopped at your location to pick up a few things (popcorn and a baked good) before work.I wanted a chai from Starbucks, so I went there to check out my two items and to order my drink.I put in my order and told the young lady I had the additional two items.She said she couldnt ring up the two items because of a new store policy.I asked her if she was really going to make me buy a chai and then walk over to the general checkout to finish my purchases. So, I told her I didnt want the chai and began walking away. As I walk away she says, whatever.Now, this is the second run in Ive had with this young lady in the last week.Late last week, I dropped in early in the morning to grab 2-3 things. There was only one lane open and the customer had a basket full of items. So, I walked over to the Starbucks and asked if she could check me out. She didnt want to do it and said it was because she didnt have a full register and bags. I told her dont worry about the bag, Ill get my own. But it didnt make sense for me to wait in line behind someone with 50 items and she was open and had no one. Again, I only had 2-3 scannable items.If these are store policies, then they need to be posted. But, it seems the young lady who works at Starbucks is making up her own policies and is turning away customers.If she only wants to make drinks, then she needs to work at a stand alone Starbucks.

One of the cleanest and spacious grocery store in DFW. Prices are match others and there are options to chose from than other locations. There is Starbucks shop so you can sip n shop 😋

After 3 stores they had what I needed

Cashiers are super friendly and engaging. Lord help you if you need help on the floor. Most floor associats are in their own little worlds and really are annoyed at customers who bother them with trivial question. Cashiers save them at this store.

Tom thumb is always a little more pricey than most other grocery stores,. This one is always stocked good and very friendly associates. With the hard winter we had, this one still managed to keep a lot on their shelves. :)

20 minutes for bakery to get to us but the worst part were the Starbucks people. Waited for five minutes when we just saw them, come to find out they were coming from the front with a cart, see us, don’t speed up pace, still slow no hustle. Made me not want Starbucks anymore. Terrible customer service from them. But a nice cashier helped us out with the bakery, when we made our way back the Starbucks people WERENT THERE AGAIN. Terrible workers at that Starbucks.

OMG! Im not always happy with prices here. But I was indecisive about dinner Sunday with family. I couldnt make My mind up but this young lady I think her name was something with a S, Sheila maybe? Anyway she spent 5 minutes at least talking about the different marinades and sauces there in the isle with me. Which one was spicy and in what way- India mexico etc. Yall need to give her a raise.

Every time I am here all employees are friendly and I have a good shopping experience. But they really have to staff the registers accordingly because it NEVER fails when I get to the check out there are always long lines which I usually wait 10 to 20 min to get my items on the belt. Thats just absurd. I have gone in the morning, mid afternoon and evening times and still same issue. This picture only shows in the front of my view, and behind was just as long of a line.

I was looking for a Wells Fargo ATM, it is located INSIDE the store. This information should be included when doing an ATM search. The sinage is not evident and if you are not familiar with this location, one ends up running around in circles, so Google should be more specific than just You have arrived instead it should mention that the ATM for Wells Fargo is inside.

They have really gone above and beyond. The entire staff works really hard. I like always seeing the same faces there. I mostly use the curbside pick up now, and sometimes it isnt perfect but it is still relatively new and they always make it right. I really like quite a few people there but unfortunately I can only remember Amelias name so I will give her a shout out in this review. She has always been so nice to me even when I have been the complaining customer and always made me feel heard and immediately fixed my problem. This is by far the best grocery store I have ever shopped at. And it is the staff that makes it feel this way.

I had to go in this afternoon for something and the older lady working customer service was not friendly AT ALL then she left her station to go talk to a cashier I heard her gossiping about somebody. This store used to be the best But these older ladies they have working here are not That at all. Bring back kind employees.

This site is always clean and the staff very friendly. High quality food. Lately some things are out of stock or very few available but thats most likely due to the current pandemic. I visit frequently.

I had the worst experience at this store my cashier was Patrice and she was rude and unprofessional. Not only she gave me poor customer service she turned off her light to take off when I needed her help for my Just for you app. She told me to take it customer service and csr had a long line of people. I won’t be coming to this store due to Patrice and she makes Tom Thumb look bad. I let my friends and family not to shop at this store.

I went at night time when the workers should actually be helping the customers instead of just talking to each other. I tried to ask the cashier checking me out for a price check the other night and she was too busy flirting with the worker who was bagging the bags to even hear me let alone actually bother to help me out. I had to repeat myself almost three times before she heard me. Its a little ridiculous and Im sorry that I interrupted your flirting but this is a job. Not too big of a deal but still was a little rude

All Tom Thumb stores are great (at least the ones Ive shopped.) But this one is the best of all....King of the Hill. It is very large & has everything one could want.

I used to really like this Tom Thumb but their curbside pick up is done poorly compared to the other grocery stores in the area. The way they do substitutions is ridiculous. And to fix it I was told I would have till the next day and come in the store, which obviously I didnt want to do or I wouldnt have gotten curbside. So to fix their mistake I have to make two trips. I would heavily suggest if you are doing curbside to go elsewhere. This place ended up being way too much hassle for something thats whole point is to make life easier.
