Really nice employees. I bought a bed frame and they let me come back with a truck to pick it up.
Always fun to browse. Purchases are donations, so its always appropriate to pick up something!
I recently learned that the Goodwill stores are %100 FOR PROFIT businesses. I think I will donate to another charity that does good for the community and helps the disadvantaged. Judging by the lines people can not give them their stuff fast enough and it all goes into their pockets.
Its always very clean n tidy.Sometimes you might find what ur looking for.
I was happy with my visit, because an employee watched my bike while I bought a lock there, then I locked up my bike so I could shop for new shoes. The deals were good, no complaints.
Clean and organized never know what you may find
Great setup, options and space. Found all my items on sale today as the colored tags change every week 😀. Fitting rooms are open Yay!
Got a murano glass marlin sculpture. Beautiful.
Went and donated never worn clothing and a new suit. I also brought in 2 pairs of expensive never worn steel toe work boots still in the original boxes. No one at the drop off point paid any attention to me. I get the feeling my donations were probably taken home by the employees. I will donate elsewhere from now on.
Like coming here. Not crowded and very clean and organized. Staff is very friendly.
Nice store, kept clean and organized.
Great service and great shopping
Nice store, but not for furniture
Clean and organized, friendly staff.
Great experience, good selection of clothes. Just a little more pricy on some selections. Clean and nearly organized throughout the store. It carries some new still with tags items also. Staff were very nice. Clean single bathroom.
The manager Amy goes out of her way to give me a dirty look when I walk by and in constantly on her phone. She prices all of the blue target items at the same or higher than Target. She is always rude to me because she knows I resale and for some reason that offends her. U strongly advise you to avoid this location until either she or goodwill decides to move on. I have dealt with her at multiple locations and have always been extremely polite and in return I am treaty poorly even though I spend nearly a thousand dollars a month at goodwill. I am not sure if they read these but if they do please take a look at this women because now I can no longer shop at this location!
PLEASE READ BEFORE DONATING!...On 12/29/19 at 618PM I arrived at this goodwill to deliver two bags of clothes. I walked in the donation center and before I could say hello an older gentleman said they were closed (mind you they close at 7pm). I then said I’m only here to drop off two bags and he said “you got ten minutes”. He continued to give me an attitude and “said give me the bags” with again an attitude. I then gave the bags but felt worse than ever for just donating clothing (that was still in excellent condition). The treatment received for donating clothing was absolutely unacceptable. This man obviously has no passion for helping out those in need.
This Goodwill has a great selection of womens clothes and they always have tons of nice linens. The store is very clean and organized and they have a very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely one of the best Goodwill stores in the area.
Great finds always!
Brother typewriter last week and it lasted about an hours worth of typing and then it burned up and then when I went to return it I was hoping to get my cash back but they only gave me in-store credit and went back the next day looking for another typewriter and I found my old typewriter back on the Shelf still didnt work this store is one of the worst for having a good merchandise seems like seems like the other Goodwill stores always seem to have better stuff than this one and I dont know why this one used to be good but it hasnt been for a couple years now prices are still good and the clothes section is good but they dont really have much in the electronics and miscellaneous Department. I guess I should have expected you to have my money locked in when I purchased that typewriter but I didnt expect I expected to get my cash back within 14 days thats what the receipt said but on closer look at the at the receipt the receipt does say that they only give you in-store credit so if you ever buy anything at the Goodwill just remember that you have to take it back you only get an in-store credit
Debbie Gibbs is the best damn store manager that location ever did have! She is so good to her employees and her customers. Its so refreshing to see how happy the customers/regulars get when they see her. Definitely recommend this location above all!
Does Goodwill is packed full of all kinds of fun stuff. The prices were a little higher than I expected. You would think that the price of a little more reasonable considering everything is donated. Besides that fact I had a lot of fun rummaging through a mountain of random stuff.
Really good!!!!people is amazing !
Went to drop off some items today for donation. The young man was beyond rude and surly. My items were in very good condition; not junk. He refused most of it, saying it would just be thrown in a dumpster and they didn’t need the expense. Okay! I took them home and I’ll be throwing perfectly good and usable items in the trash. I will no longer support Goodwill at any level. They’ve made it very clear the don’t need my support.
Quick purchasing process and very good service. Glad to have gotten our wonderful bed and chair. Thank you and will remain repeat customer.
This is the worst Goodwill I’ve ever seen. Dont let the store name fool you. These are the worst people to work for. They dont pay they workers what they are worth yet they expect them to work themselves to death. They are always understaffed and their excuse is always that its because there is a problem with payroll. Yet they make money off free stuff and get free volunteer help all the time. Yet they cant afford to pay more than minimum wage or get a big enough warehouse for the donations they receive. Its a corporation that someone is banking off of big time while all the hardest working employees for this company are getting chump change for pay. And they lie to the new employees at orientation saying there are monthly bonuses when the store hits there production numbers. And they dont follow there own guidelines as far as verbal warnings before disciplinary action. This place is a joke and a lie. And now i have received all my other W2s from everyone else except Goodwill. After waiting over 2 months for my background check to come back after my interview to work for this horrible company.
Great deals and steals. Wonderful employees. New manager Maribel is a truly good person with a big heart in the right place. All mgr. support staff are shining stars.
Customer service here is fine but whoever prices the items does not know they work at Good Will. The prices for new items are generally the same price or more expensive as the actual price you would pay at a retail store. I saw a set of plates and bowls from Target listed as Salvage with a price of $25 and looked inside to find broken items, only 1 bowl, plate and mug that was not broken. What a joke. Furniture is also overpriced. This is a Goodwill not Maceys. Fix your pricing and you will sell more stuff. I also asked if I could check the item to make sure it works before purchasing and I got a No.
Its one of the worst goodwill.s in the metro area the worst goodwill in the metro area is parker and bellview in Aurora this one is the second worst and the third worst is the one on 36th ave in Stapleton
This store looks amazing! I can tell there is a new Manager!! Enjoyed this store before, but now even better!!
Worst goodwill ever!!! No organization. All staff is rude. Even the goodwill on colfax are cleaner and more organized. Dont come to this ins
Comparing to other thrift stores their price is affordable, clean and nice environment.
A pretty run of the mill thrift store. Decent prices, yet could be a little cheaper do to the quality of their used merchandise for sale. You gotta support any low income store in your community, if you care for any of the less fortunate people in your community.
Its OK, but for a drop off point it kind of sucks sometimes... One day there was a guy who was refusing more than he was taking! I had a garage plastic shelf broken down and in a plastic bag. He didnt even look in the bag, just said dont need it. I explained what it was, again, Dont need it. He refused a bunch of good stuff, I couldnt believe it.
Understand that their stock is comprised entirely of peoples used stuff. That said, with this being a GW in a decent area, Ive found great stuff here. $1 coffee cup that ended up being a valuable collectible item, recently.I make regular trips here.
Decent good will store. Kept pretty clean and it is fairly large. Keep a fair selection out stuff.
Anissa has amazing customer service! She helped me out when I got some incorrect information about the drop off times! Great people. Thanks!
Very big, nice and clean. Tons of stuff. Went for cassettes and they had them. Great checkout experience too
Went to donate a floor stand light, plant stands and some other nice stuff (not junk!) and was turned away, the guy thought it wasnt good enough. This is not Maceys folks!!!!
I will never shop at the GoodWill in Arvada on 80th and Wadsworth again, and I will also tell my friends to not shop at this location again. I bought several cute tops and skirts that I was looking forward to wearing. I looked at all the tags not bothering to look at the actual clothing tags because I figured they were marked correctly. I usually don’t try on any clothes until after I wash them. So I come home and see that all the clothes I bought that were marked size large, were all actually size small. It’s very frustrating that these tags weren’t marked correctly. I went back to the store and didn’t buy anything but looked at a bunch of different clothes again and several pieces of clothing were marked the wrong size.Sent from my iPhone
I love Goodwill and I always donate clothing and household items, but my experience at the Arvada-Wadsworth location was awful. The lady we donated one bag of clothing to complained theres too much crap here and she ran out of space. Then when she took my bag, she was rude and ripped it from my hands. God forbid I ask for a receipt. She works at a non-profit donation center, if she doesnt like her job, then she needs to find a new one. There was no reason for her negative attitude towards me or anyone else donating to support a cause. Definitely not returning to this location.
Wow! This place is WAAAY better than the G-Dub we have in Boulder. Ill be back.
Easy to shop there. Parking is crazy. Not much for furniture.
Friendly staff even if they are still wet behind the ears. The6 listened to my suggestions and immediately made changes to better their service.
Thos goodwill use to have a great selection on kids sporting goods. Now they are extremely overpriced.
Rude employee
Goods arent anything beyond your usual Goodwill but their drop-off spot is great. Its on the side of the building, easy to get in and out of, and is staffed constantly
Best Goodwill store in the metro area
I went in to get a white long sleaved shirt for the new job that i started. I found what i was looking for. Also one other.
Helpful employees! Found everything we needed. Thanks again
Good deals, imo the best goodwill in the area. Thats why I love to work here.
A little dirty, but the employees are great and everything is well organized.
Lots of stuff to look at it was very clean store very well organized.
Pretty average goodwill for the denver area. I regularly find great deals here and the managers are usually willing to work with you on prices if something is priced too high.
Great customer service and found many wonderful NEW clothing for my children 😂
Great, friendly folks work here, and theres always at least one thing I cant pass up. Usually a lot more!
Gr8 prices on even new items. Friendly helpful staff.
Great selection of clothes! Usually not too much furniture available though.
Rude and dead staff, disorganized mess. Went in to the shop on 08/28/2018 at around 4:30. found a great looking typewriter for 8.99! Figured wow this an amazing find and the reason I love going thrifting at my local goodwill. So I go up to the counter and the only woman working the counters immediately started fiddling and mishandling my typewriter and asking what it is with aggressive curiosity. Innocently enough I told her its a typewriter. Then she gave me a puzzled look and increased her speed and mishandling of the typewriter trying to open the case. She looked at it then gave me the worst look and said in a harsh tone yep, no way. SOMEONE switched the tags on this. I dont WHO but this cannot be right this must be $100 dollars. I said to her that its priced at $8.99 though. To which she replied yeah no this costs $100 .I was immediately offended by her tone because it she was implying I was one who had switched price tags or something, even after I pointed out that the price tag was unblemished. The only reason Im upset is because it was priced at 8.00 dollars and at the register she wanted to extort me for $100 VERBALLY. Ive seen things priced pretty heavily at thift stores (mainly vintage goods) i get that, I can cough up a few pennies for goods I want but dont price it one way then seeing it being bought and then trying to make me cough up a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY. Put the insane price BEFOREHAND so I dont go through the trouble of getting really excited only to have the cashier make up prices at the register. DONT HUMILIATE AND EXTORT YOUR CUSTOMERS.
This goodwill in arvada is. awesome its very clean store and the employees are friendly & helpful always find nice things at this location...
A nice place but could be cleaner. The bathroom was very messy
I always get what I good quality clothes there at reasonable prices
Fantastic finds with furniture and glassware for our basement apartment.
This place has lower prices and specials for the elderly.
Good service. Need to get rid of junk in there for now.
The item Debrah purchased, they sold to some one else. So, we made a trip for nothing. They refunded her money. But that is the least they could of done.
Went to GOOD Will on 80th and Wadsworth in Arvada. The store was a mess, clothes were just hang up sizes all mixed up,empty hangers, sweaters, and blouses mixed upt .Employees not caring, talking to each others in the cash register areas .,no supervision the young man at the cash register eguster was rude, as if he did not want to be there. Did Community service there for a month, when the managers and employees were keeping the store immaculate, were always pleasant.the store had a good atmosphere. DO NOTWANTTO GO BACK.I know this is not Neiman Marcus. This store needs some good managers and the employees will follow sui
Awesome store good sales.....it use to not be very good
Decent sized store. Could be better organized.
Larger Goodwill store better selection than most the parking is sometimes difficult
Clothes are not well organized into sizes and it gets pretty frustrating to have to look thru the many racks without an idea of where exactly to look for what you want. Too time consuming becomes more of a chore than an enjoyment.
Decent range of second hand clothes - great for finding work clothes to replace your favorite jeans from college that your wife accidentally threw away.
Still consider Good Will one of the better charities..! There prices are also ALOT farer!!!
Rude service at the donation drop off. I was yelled at for getting out of my vehicle to bring things to their line and then I was told that I couldnt drop off my garbage which was actually a furnace floor register. I regret leaving the rest of my donation.
I like this store, its organized and spacious, but despite having five registers, it seems like checkout is extremely s-l-o-w. I visit stores at lunch, and frequently have to abandon purchases because I simply dont have time to wait.
Great deals for so much less. Its like treasure hunting.
Always find something good. Getting a little pricey!
Found some awesome deals but the smell was significant
Great selection of gently used clothing and Home Goods.
Had a few things I needed... That was good and saved me some cash.
Theyve really cleaned that place up! Great place to shop!
Clean, new management, excellent items and awesome prices!!!
I love finding unique items every time I go here. The staff is also friendly.
You can always find a good deal here
Its not just how much you take, its also how much you give. Nice place- busy on weekends
ALWAYS have New and used items at a great value
Decent selection of clothes. Odd collection of household items.
Well maintained and displays were easy to shop.
This is a good location for furniture. However, their clothing selection is lacking.
Worst inventory of a major chain thrift store I have ever seen. Furniture is basically their focus. Well, and Christian books. For everything else, they have a lot of space and a scant supply. And things stay on the shelves here for weeks. It really burns me that this is the closest thrift store to me and it constantly disappoints.
Organized, great daily specials, nice people.
Decent plethora of items, staff is wonderful in donation area, okay inside.
Nice selection but very rude staff. Had my items on the register ready to check out then was told to move to another register.
Lots of good stuff to look at. They keep the store clean.
Great Staff and great finds
Selection at this store isnt the best, but I can usually find at least one or two things I could use for a good price. Still probably the best thrift store in the area.
Got a lot of good help here.
Had a great selection of clothes and other items
Very nice stuff alitte pricey
Not a great selection and kinda messy and disorganised. Also hard to see from the road.
