We had great experience from the start with Arvada Flooring Company. We wanted new carpet and new hard floors and they provided all our options and helped with picking the perfect products for both floor types. The entire installation process was great with follow-ups and communications up to and after the installation. The installers were great to work with and talk to. Very pleasant and knew what they were doing. Not the fault of the Arvada Flooring Company but after about 6 months we had a manufactures defect in our carpet. We contacted Arvada Flooring and they responded immediately and worked directly with the carpet manufacture on our behalf. We ended up with a different carpet at no additional cost to us.Thanks Liz and staff for your great customer service!!!
We are in the middle of an unfortunate situation. We contracted with Arvada Flooring Company to remove carpet and install hardwood in a small bedroom. Materials were delivered on time and according to schedule. We were told the work would begin the week of April 26. After not hearing from them on April 26, I called and was given a date of Wednesday April 28.During the day on April 28 we called and were told there was a mix up the work would begin on Friday April 30. The crew showed up on April 30 after being pulled from another job. One of the crew mentioned he was not feeling well and should not be working. The job was partially completed on Friday and the crew left for the weekend.Today the crew showed up to collect their tools and begin work on another job stating they would be back in the next day or two. The supervisor Josh mentioned this job was not his job and that hes trying to help out. He stated he was in the middle of a bad situation.Arvada Flooring uses contractors. They did not state this in their contract. The hardwood is very knotty. It does not appear to be very good quality. Ive requested a refund along with the removal of any materials, scraps and tools. Ive yet to hear back from Arvada Flooring.Throughout we have had to initiate communications. Arvada Flooring did not proactively update us on schedules or any mix-up.
Changing the installation date twice, showing up with the wrong size at one job and showing up without anything for the second job, and then wanting a remeasure for something that was already measured and scheduled, is apparently considered a good deed by this company. Attempting to install carpet without any materials after a postponement, is very confusing to say the least. Was someone stopping them?Apparently, their word means nothing and scheduling a time for installation is actually a wide open time frame that can fluctuate. Keep your month open. Anything can come up. If youre looking for a reputable company that shows up on time, prepared and ready to go, youll have to go elsewhere, as is clearly stated in numerous other reviews. This place runs less like a professional business and more like a swap meet in Tijuana. Take your business elsewhere if you value your time.
I have nothing but good things to say about these guys. Top to bottom one of the best experiences Ive ever had with any business. I will 100% Use these guys again.
The most unprofessional experience I couldve gone through. My husband and I had made arrangements for carpet and pad to be installed two months ago. Someone came to take measurements and we were told everything was good to go. The date arrived and they had to postpone the Installment another day due to being hung up in another project. The installers showed up with no pad and no carpet to remeasure the rooms. Just to tell me they dont have the right measurement.MIND YOU THE HOUSE IS GOING ON THE MARKET TO BE SOLD IN LESSS THAN A WEEK. We now have to postpone the date to put my home on the market. This is time and money being wasted on their part. The manager then says she will order new carpet and change the price originally quoted. My time and my families time has been wasted on dependance of a business that stated they do quality professional work. Although the carpet was free from warehouse. The pad and labor was being paid for. The pad was paid for in advance. This does not hold accountable actions for a business to follow through regardless of any circumstances. Business is business. Its ran on quality reassurance that what is said to be done is done in a timely professional manner. Im sorry you feel that you have fulfilled an obligation that was not done with the integrity you wished upon. Next time regardless of who the job is done for you respect customers and get it right.
Last year, we hired Arvada Flooring to replace damaged areas and refinish our wood floors. Several months after the work was completed, I noticed areas of warping and contacted Liz at Arvada Flooring. With no hesitation, Liz agreed to have the floors redone . Their expert installer, Don, redid the project in a quick, nearly dust -free and professional manner. They communicated their timeline throughout the project which was greatly appreciated. Our floors look great! We are very pleased with the final product. Arvada Flooring stands by their work and did a great job.
We are here for all your flooring and remodeling needs feel free to call or stop in anytime!
Liz is a women of integrity and did everything in her power to make our house perfect. The crew she sent out were professional, knowledgeable and talented. We are very pleased with the outcome.
We needed to put in new flooring and tile in our kitchen, which turned into a bigger job than expected as we needed a new subfloor. Arvada Flooring was able to take care of the entire job and stayed well within a reasonable timeframe considering the extra work required. Due to COVID, the final finishing touches did have to wait, but they went above and beyond the original quote to replace our molding. Even better, the price did not jump up significantly, even though extra work was required.
I have never been treated so rudely when calling a company for purchasing advice. When it became clear I just needed a simple rug pad, the man on the phone brushed me off, saying, Ive got customers, I gotta go, and hung up on me. This place will never have my business, large or small.
This is my first time purchasing flooring and I couldnt be happier with my experience at AVD&F. Matt (owner) was same-day responsive and an excellent resource throughout the process. There are zero flaws in his work and I will use this company again for further projects.
We needed a major remodel of the interior of our house. After interviewing a couple of other general contractors we decided on Arvada West. Matt seemed to understand what we wanted and proceeded to help us decide how it was to be done.He and Christie, the designer, were helpful and patient in helping us pick the materials, and let us take samples home when necessary. We had a complete redo of the kitchen with all new cabinets, new countertop, new appliances, sink, faucet and cabinet handles. We had new carpet in two rooms upstairs and all replaced in the finished basement. We had new hardwood floors installed in one large room and all the rest of the floor upstairs refinished. Two windows were replaced with floor-to--ceiling ones, the entire interior was painted, new front and back doors were replaced and painted and new hardware installed, major rewiring and new switches, some ceiling lights were replaced, and a lot more.We were really impressed with sub-contractors Kevin, Chris, Roel and some others, all of whom did outstanding work and solved some difficult problems. They and Matt were always pleasant, especially when we decided in the midst of it all on some changes. The new contemporary look is exactly what we wanted and we are extremely pleased. The job took longer than anticipated and went over budget from our original plan, but part of that was due to changes we wanted. Although it took a long time, looking back on it, it was worth the wait.My father used to say, If at the end of a job, you are still speaking to your contractor, he is a good one. We are still doing that with Matt, so that is something. Excellent workmanship all through.
I highly recommend this company. Their quality of work and attention to detail is excellent.
This establishment is under its 2nd ownership since I bought my home. The first owner was always so polite and helpful, even allowing me to take the product home so I could finish my project and return the next day with the credit card I had forgotten! The new owners have continued the tradition of service, answering questions and doing their best to provide solutions to the pesky maintenance issues. I will continue to do business with Arvada West Decorating and Flooring as long as I live in the area.
Great selection of hardwood flooring, carpet and Window Coverings. Matt the owner was very helpful and provided personal friendly service.
