All things Eastern Europe here! They have all types of food and great variety. The staff is very nice. Im not Eastern European ( Southwest Europe here!) And I was curious about a product and the cashier was happy about my curiosity. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends who love them some Eastern European treats! Its important for places like this to exist in Colorado. Bring on the culture!
They offer an amazing amount of foreign foods I bought some cheese from the deli it was the best cheese Ive ever eaten, their hard salami, again from the deli, wonderful flavor and fresh. I got three different bags of candy it was all so delicious I could hardly put it down, I got a loaf of bread that was so dried out I had to throw it out, I bought crackers that were so dry they practically turned to dust as I grabbed for one, I got cookies that were so so good I cant wait to go back and get more. Ill be more selective the next time I go in for another shopping trip.Their expiration dates dont seem to matter to them stuff was on the shelves that were long over due should have been thrown out long long ago...
So many different items and a great selection. The kids loved all the different chocolate and candies. Many teas and beautiful Russian designs on many containers. There were cheeses and sausage, biscuits, pickles, desserts. Staff is nice and friendly. And if you have a sauna, they even have the banya leaves (if you havent tried that you should). I will definitely be coming back!
They have everything for your taste buds and soul, just no fresh deli salads. Great choice of European and Russian food.
Saw this place on google maps n my wife n I decided to go. The gentleman there was very friendly n knowledgeable. Prices are not over the top. We spent about an hour there n came home w some new foods to try. Will definitely be going back
Lots of different goodies. Always love European chocolates and food!
This store is the closest to where I live. For the most part its clean and somewhat organized. You definitely have to check for expiration dates sometimes they are outdated. They do have really good veggies and dill.
Of the few Eastern European food markets I have been to here in the Denver metro area this one is greatness! The selection is superb and the prices are good for a small bazaar. We will continue to shop at this store and enjoy the 45 minute one way drive for us to shop the Gastronom European store.
There is a great selection of multicultural foods. The staff was extremely helpful.
I didnt feel like it was the most inviting store. My kids didnt feel too comfortable and mentioned that everyone looked unhappy. Once we went up to check out I realized that the majority of the customers and store employees were not speaking English. Realizing that there was a language barrier made me more forgiving. The food we purchased was delicious, which was our main goal of going to this store. My kids are learning about European countries this month and I feel like they tasted authentic food!
There were no prices on any of the meat, so I started to ask how much each group wasThe lady seemed annoyed by my questions and after the third time, directed me to a piece of paper by the register that had the prices.Im not quite sure how to say this, but how hard would it be for them to put the prices by each different selection of meat? It doesnt have to go on every piece, just one price for the group, like they do at King Soopers. It would save us both a fair bit of consternation.Anyway she acted like I was an inconvenience so I wont be going back.
That is our must stop in Denver. I love this store. There is a big variety of products from Ukraine abd Russia. Prices are great! Staff is frendly. Five stars and my recommendations!
Excellent eastern Euro import deli and grocery. As far as i know the only place for these items on the west side of the metro. Really fun shopping for Russian and Baltik deliciousness. Sprats and kvac!
Pretty good Euro store in comparison to others in the area. Being from Russia they do have a lot of Russian/Ukrainian products which I appreciate. Large candy variety too.
What a fun place to shop for interesting foods. Weve been traveling virtually through Eastern Europe and wanted to try some foods from there. This store had so many to choose from. The store is a bit cramped and some of the prices are hard to determine, but that did not deter us. And oh, the chocolates!!
I was absolutely spoiled by this store. So many of the staples I used to get in Ukraine: chechel, grechka (toasted buckwheat), Korean carrot salad, kievski tort, suhariki (snacking croutons), juice, and a wide selection of candies and meats. I adore this store.
Great assortment of groceries and very friendly and caring stuff. I always get what I need.
Great little store with lots of East European goodies and friendly staff!
Highly recommend! I went there because I started learning the Russian language and I got curious. It has all the things in those Russian food videos, and the owner is super friendly. He showed me around and explained how to cook certain things.
Nice people that work there and own the store! Very accommodating and willing to help 🙏
This store is amazing, it has a variety of European/Russian food items that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else. They also sell great cakes, I love the napoleon one. The guy at the counter is always very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
Great selection and decent pricing. The young man at the cash register was very knowledgeable and polite. We enjoyed looking around.
I really like this store and assortment. Where you need buckwheat, sunflower oil or European chocolates, sweets, cookies, you can find it here. Service is always nice and polite.
Great place to buy imported european food and goods.
Sometimes the lines are long, but they have really great stuff that no other store has.
Great people and good place to get eastern european items.
It is a blessing we have this store in Denver metro area. Awesome selection! Great service. You get there everything you miss in terms of food from post Soviet Union countries.
Best sardines and sprats ever. Many kinds of chocolate; all excellent. They make their own bread. If fresh baked, its outstanding. Many other products. There is a language hurdle if you dont speak Russian. Google translator will help with this if need arises.
I love this store! It has a lot of great choices, including sweets, bread, grains, beverages, meat and dairy products, cakes, and even medication.
Great things are here that you dont know about unless you come here. Especially if you can read the labels (unlike me)! Excellent assortment of canned goods, jams, sweets, specially items, teas, cakes, and some freshly prepared items. Very delicious!
Love this store! I am originally from Europe and this store is one of my favorites! I had been shopping here for about 7 years. Great selection of fresh produce! Nice variety of frozen pirogues/vareniki. Huge selection of teas! Always great customer service.
Perfect location and good place, always stop by when driving near, good customer service and lots of variety of European and Russian products
My first time there. And it was AWESOME. All the staff where very helpful
Impresive place
Fun ok place to get some unique items!
I was married to a Russian woman so I had to check it out
Every time we buy something, we get free chocolate.Yay
Best Russian store in Denver
Found this place while waiting for a delayed pizza from Goombas next door. This wait for a pizza turned into a most fortunate delay.Im not going to pretend that I ever truly 100% understand what it is Im buying from this place, all I know is that Cyrillic is very intimidating to translate but the guy at the front counter is very accommodating in trying to explain what it is that Im holding.
They had some very unique items that I could not get at other stores that are like them. Staff was very friendly and Ive taken family and friends to visit.
Selling food after best before. Poore service.
Baltic / Russian foods. A substantial selection especially of sweets, teas, canned fish, and sausages. In my limited experience, the people working there are not very engaging like you may be accustomed to in a typical American mom & pop store. From what I understand, however, this is normal for Russian culture. I tried to get a recommendation for a new food I should try, but between the language barrier and the social reservations of the cashier, I was unsuccessful lol. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area though - you are guaranteed to find something unique!
The perfect selection of Middle and Eastern European product.
Really good store. Attentive associates and huge selection of goodies from Eastern Europe 👍
Sellers dont follow masks requirements for themselves and also people in the store. Poor service.
Amazing European store! From delicious bread to fresh herbs, so far the best speciality store I know in Denver Metro area. And the service is great as well.
Excellent service hidden gem ! Amazing foods
Great store. I recommend their new apple cake szarlotka as well as the chocolate cake. Both are phenomenal and scratch made!
Its a really nice store. Has alot of variety on their kielbasa. The deserts are very good. And they treat their customers really good. They speak russian and english to help anyone that comes in out.
Good store. Prices seem a tad high but still within acceptable. People that own/work there are nice. If you only speak English you may have a hard time. Russian is the preferred language here.
Good place to get pierogi, rye bread. Could have lots of fun with candy selection...
Great little unknown secret of Arvada goombas pizza and a European market mostly consists of Ukraine and Russian products both little know places but well worth your time
Great service. Everything nice and fresh. Great selection of cheeses and meats, pickled food and sweets of all kinds. Also nice bread options and plenty of good quality smoked fish. Very happy to have this store in my neighborhood.
Large selection and friendly employees.
First of all it’s mostly Russian food there .Always good experience. Always good and fresh, clean and friendly . I recommend this store for all my friends. It Was ..... now, Sale personal have to be more polite no matter where people from, last time always feels bad attitude from salesperson . It’s unbelievable rude.
Real Authentic European Food. You wont find a more authentic place in Colorado and the food is always fresh. Im glad a store like this exists. Spasibo
There are always good products here and the employees are very helpful and friendly. The staff is amazing and very helpful.
So many delicious snacks and candies, and theyre always fresh. This is the best Russian/European market in Denver area that Ive been to. And the owner gives you free chocolate when you spend over a certain amount =]
Very good selection, always fresh, definitely the best European store in the area.
Excellent selection of Russian and European foods. Best store in denver after shopping at mostly all of them this store has the largest variety of products. Plus a rewards card.
Is there a reason this place keeps coming up on my feed and Ive never been there?Yes there is. They hacked my stuff and are trying to drain wash me so I lose 250lbs the hard way leaving me looking like hang man stick dude.. them apples sure look yummy.. bet there from Washington.. with that I give them two stars for effort... good dsy
The 2 gentlemen working were very sweet and asked us if we were doing okay, which I hardly ever get anywhere else. They had a great selection and I will be coming back in about a week :)
Quality selection of Eastern European goods.
I loved trying all the Russian food and drinks and they were delicious
Just drove from south Aurora, because the Google maps says they close at 10 pm. I arrived at 9:05 and the cashier was attending a lady inside. I go in and he says they are closed! WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME. !!
Interesting and wide selection of foods mainly Russian, but imports from some other countries as well. Great selection of Russian candy.
The great place to shop for Russian food
Good selection of Russian (Ukrainian, Polish....) foods, but be ready spent $100 easily ).Good cake selection, can buy just a piece by weight~ $7 / pound.
Its a specialty store that had everything I needed for an Eastern European nostalgia meal. You wont see a lot of smiles here, but thats just part of the experience. The costs are a little high, so only 4 stars, but otherwise I am happy I found it.
Clean, great customer service, convenient location, great prices.I highly recommend.
I really love it, authentic European food, good prices, good service
Nice store with Russian, Polish, German groceries. Good variety of sweets, deli meat, pickled veggies, milk products. Friendly lady helped us to fund everything we needed. Will be back again!
I really appreciate that they are open late and 7 days/week. Many choices and reasonable prices.
Had lived in Arvada for 5 years and finally came into this store really cool
Great variety very helpful. Wonderful people
I really like this store. The personal working in there is nice and friendly.
Love this place
Good selection of European goods
Nice variety, but fruits are not fresh. Also, red caviar tasted not quite fresh. They are too busy at checkout, need to add more workers.
I’m very disappointed! I always liked that store but I went there a couple of days ago and bought a couple of grocery’s. 3 articles where expired in summer 2018 and they still sold those expired products in the store. That’s a no go!!!!
Very good gastronom. Fresh food
Delicious food, great customer service, good luck in your business guys
