Natural Grocers is just what the name suggests- a grocer that carries food that is as natural (and organic) as possible. Their produce is 100% organic and outstanding. Other products are top shelf and reasonably priced compared to other grocers. The selection of bulk items is impressive and extensive. Their vast aisles of vitamins and supplements are second to none. Your wallet or purse will probably be lighter, but you get what you pay for. Specials can be great- for example, I paid $3.99 apiece for 2 12oz packages of top shelf bacon today.

Better than sprouts and just across the street. More selection at a better price. This is the place to go for all healthcare skincare needs. All their produce is organic. Way bigger than I thought. Great selection for healthy organic stuffs but not much of fresh products which supposed to real healthy but they focus on supplements instead.

Wow!. I decided to do a new recipe last minute and couldn’t find herbs. I called the store to see if they had the herbs I needed and they did. Ryan was super nice and pulled them aside for me so I could get them. I’m definitely gonna order my turkey from there next year.

Great place to shop for any free from diets, especially for vegans! I love their dairy-free cheese section and honestly they just have a lot of quality products. Best place to find kombucha and they have a ton of flavors.

I am now re writing my review. I used to give Natural Grocers 5 stars. I have shopped at this location since I was a child and have continued to shop here for my own family. I buy 90% of my groceries here. I am now changing it to 1star because they are no longer allowing medical mask exemptions. The CO. mask mandate allows for medical mask exemptions so your policy now goes against the mask mandate as well as Federal ADA. Please honor medical exemptions again. I will no longer be able to buy my groceries from you as I am not able to wear a mask. I ask that you reconsider your new discriminatory policy against those with medical conditions.

Always exactly what I expect of a NG, really awesome produce at leas cost then other places and the protein I like, with a dash of really good organic eggs. If you have not shopped at a NG, give it a try!

This location is one of my favorites! The staff are always extremely polite and helpful. Even with everything going on right now, they do an awesome job trying to keep everything stocked. Keep up the amazing work. We appreciate everything you do to keep us stocked up on food!

This is our place to shop for most of our groceries. With the pandemic we have taken to shop here every other week and found Tuesday morning just after they open is best for us. Get in and get out.

Employees are always friendly, helpful, welcoming and professional. They all seem to enjoy their work and it shows. Rebecca has gone above and beyond for me on many occasions.Store is very clean, well organized and stocked.I drive down from the mountains regularly to visit this location.

Great Organic store

After I paid for my purchase I looked at the receipt. They charged more than the shelf tag. When I asked about it they said I had to sign up to be a member to get the discount. The cashier could have asked me if I were a member so I would know about the difference. I paid too much. Hope I dont have to go back there. Lots of help finding the product.

I love going to natural grocers! It reminds me of the small coffee-shop/ natural food stores I used to go to as a kid but they have a great selection. Highly recommended if you like to eat food.

Totally losing respect for this company! You feel its safe to sell products during pandemic but wont do returns on defective products like watermelon with no flavor, soggy Sandwiches etc! What a joke and makes no sense! If you sell garbage products that are substandard you should honor those returns. And while all other stores have tp, you never have it. Theres no TP shortage, your purchaser/supply chain is broken. Your buyer should be fired, I wont be shopping here much anymore.

There was an employee there she was super super helpful and nice gave me needed info of the products but there was also a rude employee who cut off my questions quick almost judge mental towards what I wanted to buy

LOVE this place! Was able to find many products that are either hard to find or that I havent seen anywhere else. I love the Bubbies pickle brand and they had many of their products, plus a cultured almond yogurt. Their prices on things like chocolate bars and epic bars were also cheaper than where I usually buy them (thrive market).

I can only assume that this is what grocery shopping was like in the old days. The staff go above and beyond to help the customer find what they need and they are very knowledgeable about their products. The store is always clean and neat. As someone who is trying to feed a family as wholesomely as possible, Natural Grocers stocks exactly what I need. I highly recommend this location.

Theyve got most of the good stuff! ;)Eggs at member pricing are the best deal in town. All produce is organic, much of it local. They have the best cold cure... a tincture by Six Persimmons: Cold Nip (cant get it at Whole Foods any longer).

Frequent Shopper! I appreciate the fact that this store makes all attempts to stock their shelves with high quality foods! In other stores I have to read ever label to see what is in it. Majority of people who work there are very helpful and nice especially those who have work there the longest. Prices can be high - watch what you buy.

I am allergic to egg and dairy. As you can imagine this greatly limits what kinds of foods I can eat. Here they have breads, cheeses and even macaroni and cheese that I can eat! Highly recommend to anyone with food allergies.

Natural Grocers, formerly, Vitamin Cottage. Is a major local natural food store. They are unusually committed to organic foods, which can sometimes affect the availability of some produce in their stores. But, with my diet sensitivities, their commitment to being more than just a natural food store and push us toward progressively more humane and organic food helps me find foods I can eat.I shop here to support local business and also because their selection is usually better than other similarly sized stores.

I love any natural grocer stores, but will go out of my way to shop other locations locally as they are more chipper, friendly, educated about their products and attentive in other locales like Lafayette, Boulder and Evergreen to name a few alternatives.This store seems smaller than most NG locations and less professionally run. They don’t carry a few of the products I typically buy, so I drive further so I can obtain the products I want. Easily this store has the tiniest produce section — but they often have goody bags or grab bags marked down for produce — which my goats, chickens and other farm animals relish.Vitamin Cottage section of the store is well organized. Good pet food selections. Nice grab and go choices - like a couple of hard boiled eggs, healthy snacks, etc., when you are choosing to avoid garbage food. I love natural grocers and this is the only location I’ve noticed is even slightly sub par in the staffing department.Great selection. Good prices. Nice company with a great independent background story. Excellent turkey choices around the holidays and they let you pre order.

Great food high prices but so is all organic, they usually beat sprouts across the street & their service is amazingly friendly and helpful.

Its always a pleasure coming in this particular place. The staff welcomes us, there is always someone asking if we need help finding something & the checkout is quick & easy. Well be back.

Burn through employees fast than any business Ive ever known. constantly ignore calls for extra cashiers slow checkout. Managers are abrasive. Employees complain of poor management and I agree. This location needs a change, if losing 3 employees every couple of weeks is normal than you need to change management. I live closet to this location but shop in golden when i can thats a finely run store with great people.

Last time I was there, a woman that worked there was yelling at a woman who barely spoke English “Where did you get this information?! Where did you get this information?!” When I walked passed and caught her basically harassing this poor woman she asked me “Can, I help you?!” When I told her no she replied “Okay, we’ll I might be a while because this lady doesn’t speak English!” She was clearly angry at the woman but she should have a little more conpassion and patience. I get the workers here are sometimes retired but it’s not really an excuse to be rude. I felt I had to share because a lot of reviews here talk about this being a friendly place which it probably is most of the time, but if you don’t speak English very well than how friendly is it?

The Arvada location has the best customer service hands down! I have been shopping at VC/Natural Grocers for 20 years because of the high quality grocery & supplement products they carry. Since having children, I have noticed the vast differences in customer service by location.I shop weekly with my 2 children and have become appalled at the strange cashier culture at the Boulder, Lafayette & Golden locations, where they purposely put your items in front of, rather then inside of your bags while watching me unload my cart & bag while tending to 2 young children at the same time. As a result I now will ONLY SHOP AT the ARVADA location because the friendly, conscious cashiers help bag or will call someone over to help.Thank you to the awesome Arvada team!

Better produce than Whole Foods, much healthier products than Sprouts (read those labels and youll see it too!), and more organic and hormone free food than King Soopers - and we saved about 15% on our grocery bill. Its now our regular place to shop!
