The Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve needed to be replaced, but in addition to that, Precision International recommended taking the car to Affordable Mufflers and Brakes to have the exhaust pipe replaced. Both were taken care of expertly and thoroughly. Precision International turned OFF the Check Engine light after the work was done. Precision International replaced the ignition key fob battery at no additional charge. Thank you, Precision Intl!!!!!

Precision took the time to diagnose and fix my steering. They gave good choices through the visit. They also helped find a less expensive solution than the dealer was offering. I will be back!

Rick and the people at Precision are *really* good. Its tough these days to find an actual honest, reliable mechanic...one that doesnt try to oversell you, or nickel-and-dime you to death. These guys even provide you with an estimate thats a PDF report, (with photos!) of what theyve found and priority. In my mind it just doesnt get better. Theyre not the cheapest, but FAR from overpriced - and for great service to me its worth it.

Moving is a challenge and finding a new mechanic can be difficult. Like most folks we first tried the dealerships for our respective import cars. Results were lack-luster. But we asked neighbors with similar models who they used and want to spare you that trouble. Our cars have been serviced exclusively at Precision International for 4 years now and we have been 100% satisfied every time!

I have used precision international 2 times but never again. In my latest repair encounter, they required two diagnostics only to find the issue that I had suggested initially. It was also an official technical service bulletin that they should have checked (the symptoms were exactly the same as the TSB outlined). The extra diagnostic was $125. Their proposed repair was $1400 but I was skeptical so I took my car to the dealer who accurately diagnosed and repaired the vehicle for $400, saving me $1000!!!! PI has done this to me before, I now realize, so I am done with them. My advice - go elsewhere - they cant be trusted.

I came in for an inspection appointment. I waited over an hour, and then they told me that in order to pass inspection, one of my headlight bulbs would need to be re-oriented because it was pointing slightly off center. They charged me 57 dollars for this! Left feeling scammed of my time and money. There are other places nearby that are more deserving of your business and wont give you any hassel.

If I could give zero stars I would. I told them I was in a huge rush and was assured I would be contacted as soon as they something.... it took 4 hours and 45 minutes to determine the headlights bulbs were burnt out, then another hour to install when I got there to pick up my car. Absolutely unprofessional and slow and I was 2 hours late to work and had literally spent the entire time at a coffee shop waiting to hear from them since they don’t let you wait with your car. My appointment was for 10am and I did not get my car back until about 5pm. Apparently my time is not important. To top it all off I was charged $919 to replace my headlights, which I could buy for about $400 retail so $500 + in labor to replace headlights are you kidding me? I feel SO ripped off and would advise anyone considering this place to seek services elsewhere.

Provided two options. The first, once completed, might fully address the problems diagnosed, and the second would address address, without doubt, the full range of potential problems.This full disclosure was unlike the local dealer who announced, a couple years back routine maintenance, that an error code for a fan failure had presented itself. They recommended a fan replacement for $2,200.Took it to this shop. Was told yes that error code was present and there was one fuse, hard to get at and might take a couple hundred to get to it but worth checking in light of replacement cost. A couple hundred later the fuse was replaced.These folks have my business. I recommend them.

Precision International has been taking care of my 2004 VW Passat Wagon for several years now. Ive found them to be very responsive. You dont have to wait long for an appointment. They tell you upfront exactly whats wrong with your car, what they will do to fix it, and how much it will cost. Very good about answering questions and explaining things. You can talk directly to the technician if you want. I have found them to be much better than going to the dealer! I would highly recommend them.

I just purchased a 2015 Mini and brought it to PI to have it checked over. Since I already bought it, I would have had to repair whatever they told me was wrong. They did a thorough, fully documented inspection and found only one minor thing wrong. I really appreciated their honesty and the time they spent going over the analysis with me. The charge for the inspection and repair was more than fair considering how much work they did. The car now runs great and I am a most satisfied customer!!

I really thought this place would be good for me, but unfortunately not, i wanted to bring my own parts for a simple job they told me it would be an extra 20 an hour for me to bring my own parts, for what I asked they said thats there policy, it makes no since for there to be any sort of upcharge on me bringing my own parts, basically they are saying sure bring your own parts but were getting the money we would have gotten if we had ordered them ourselves, thats not the kinda people I want to do business with. so if thats how they do business I definitely do not recommend you go here cause that just says to me what else are they doing that is wrong!

Ive had my car serviced twice now at Precision and, both times, the process went smoothly. The team at this company is very reliable, honest, and ensure their customers are taken care of. I was able to get a loaner so that not only would I not be without a car the whole time mine was being worked on, but also so I could bring my car in at my convenience. They also know quite a lot about cars and what is causing problems the customer is experiencing. Took our 04 Discovery for a coolant leak. Praying it was not a head gasket. They provided a written quote, performed what needed to be done and came in under budget. Then a follow up call. Who else does that??

There was a situation where a part needing replacing on my car (according to the BMW dealership) and Precision was able to repair rather than replace. Precision replaced the oil sensor on my 2003 Saab 9-3 Turbo. The job required removal and reinstallation of the oil pan - a time consuming job. The price was per the estimate and the result was excellent.

A truly professional group and service experience. Requested work was performed expediently and accurately, complete with a recommendation that actually made complete sense which I was more than happy to learn about and move forward with during that visit. They worked on and earned my trust on my beloved and rare E36 BMW M3, collectors car.

P.I. got me in quickly, began work on my Saab immediately, had the parts arrive extremely quickly and began sending me email updates with current invoice + suggested work that I asked to have diagnosed and a rough estimate invoice of what the costs would be if I chose to have that work done. I had them go ahead with a few more things and it was fast, efficient, and friendly but also to the point. I wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else at this point. You MAY be able to find work slightly cheaper elsewhere, but at P.I. it is very clear that you are paying for excellent quality work, timeliness, and great back and forth communication.

I must have had a way different experience than most other reviewers; maybe they just don’t know any better since I have worked in the industry in the past. My vehicle had been having a power steering leak for months. I took it to precision and told them I suspected it to be a line coming from the reservoir. They called me later and said they wiped everything down and couldn’t see a leak. They then asked if they could keep the vehicle overnight since they couldn’t find a leak. I said sure no problem. The next morning they called and said no leak detected but they did the oil change I requested as well. I told them I’d pick the vehicle up. I brought in a picture of my driveway and a cardboard box I put under it showing how much it had been leaking (it was significant)I was then given a bill for 220 dollars for an oil change and for inspection of a leak they couldn’t find. 45 dollars for oil change labor and 60 dollars for labor to visually look for a leak. (That means doing exactly what I did which is stare at the undercarriage for 5 min every now and then) What really upsets me is they charged me 8 dollars for brake cleaner. A can cost 1 dollar and they charged me for 2 cans (4 dollars a can) I took my vehicle home and looked under. I immediately could see where the leak was coming from- the hose I told them I suspected. I could also see there is no way they used brake cleaner. It was apparent that a rag was used to just wipe down the general area. I say this because I used to be a vehicle technician. I didn’t want to do the work and figured they could do it quickly and cheap. If they used 2 cans as they charged me for my entire engine bay should be clean. Also, I was charged for 8 qts of oil and my vehicle tops out at 7. I know cause I’ve changed my own oil up to this point.Lastly- they gave me a quote of changing power steering lines at my request. 295 for parts and 150 for labor.I ordered the single line I suspected from the dealership for 30 dollars. Took me 2 hrs to replace including the lunch I ate between removing and replacing. The line I removed was brittle and cracked. Leak is gone.I should have known better when I was sitting in the waiting room and they quoted a poor woman who needed signal lights to be replaced 15 dollars per side. It’s 5 dollars for bulbs tops and autozone would have done them for her for free. SMHDuring this whole ordeal I never gave attitude and was very polite with them, the only reason I gave 2 stars was because they were courteous even though the reason I gave a terrible review is their ineptness to see an obvious leak, dishonest charging of brake cleaner and price gouging.

Absolutely the best auto service Ive ever experienced. Reasonable, courteous, and always have the car ready when promised. Value is getting more than you pay for, and they have always delivered for me! I like getting things fixed in one attempt and not having to take my car back three times to ever get succesful resolution of the problem.

I have been a long time customer of PI and stayed with them during the sale to Organic Mechanic.Positives- good service, timely work, nice folks.Negatives- a $98 oil change on a 4 cylinder Acura that is 9 years old.Recommendation- 1.discuss options with customer and explain why manufacturers specs on oil, air filters etc. don’t have quite the same meaning when the automobile is well out of warranty.2. Adopt a high quality synthetic oil “house brand” that would save your customers 25% over high end synthetic oils yet provide the same basic specs, lifespan and protection.3. Advising the customer that the synthetic oil should be changed every 3k on a car with 135k miles is not the manufacture recommended interval.

Ive been a satisfied regular customer for 8 years, since I bought a Saab, and a friend and fellow Saab-owner recommended I take mine there. All the tuneups, occasional problems large (replace the cam) and small (electrical work, rattles, etc.) have been done there ever since.Only once did I have to go back for a second go-over and they fixed it right.Yeah, its pricey: theyre specialists in all the foreign and luxury cars. So I do oil changes and tire rotations elsewhere. But I dont visit a GP for laser surgery, either! To keep a 17-year-old luxury sports model in great condition, I go to the specialist.

They are very,very pricey .. i took my jaguar for oil change, windshield wiper, that got fixedi had a bulb out in the front out i was told that it wasnt the bulb that something electrical cannot fix now. my total bill was $ 220.00 to me that is pricey. then i left and my engine light came on before i got home / not the headlight fault its been out for over a month and no engine light on. i dont know what happened to cause my engine light to come. please international response to my comments. what did happen to cause my engine light to come on, and i did not stop to get gas. so its not the gas cap. also said i needed tires, i then took my tires to 2 different tire places, they told me i have plenty of tread, i just bought the tires 9 months ago and they are new .also they went ahead and gave me and inspection knowing that it would fail because of the headlight.(why) there service has ended with me.

Without Randy, My Jaguar XJS would be in the junk yard!!!
