Just buying a new phone can be very stressful to the older generation which I’m part of. But went to CityMac and was helped wonderfully and kindly by the young man. He not only reprogrammed our new phones but wiped our old one so we could give them away he never criticized that we didn’t have our passwords memorized nor did we have them in our phone so many things we don’t have and Then we brought them in written it in. He just continued to be good-natured and helpful and take his time with us a wonderful experience I will go back there in a minute

I have an older mac (now considered vintage) that I purchased at CityMac. They have given me stellar service and have taken many extra, relatively inexpensive, steps to help me keep it running. Due to word of mouth, I tried another mac dealer at one point who charged a lot more to look at it and basically told me it was time to buy a new computer. CityMac has kept it running two years since then with very little money invested. They have thrown in several extras for free (like a better battery) a long the way. In addition, they are prompt, friendly, and courteous. When the time comes, I will definitely be purchasing my next computer from CityMac.

I was greeted by Dillon as soon as I walked in to the store. He thoroughly understood my problem and assured me it would be an easy fix. I waited 20 minutes and my phone was completely restored. He assured me that I could call back and they would be glad to help me again. Dillon represents the type people you want working for you to make a successful business.

Dillon was amazing. I was there waiting when they opened at 10 and he opened on time and let me in and immediately began to listen to my problem. He was kind and knowledgeable and even though the techs are not there on weekends, he understood the urgency of my problem as a remote worker for a company in another state and he tried to help me. He was successful and because of that I can do my job. This is my second time to go to City Mac with SERIOUS Mac issues and they have been so courteous and helpful, never dismissive or rude. I just love these people. If you have a mac and need help or if you want new mac products I would recommend them highly. On a scale of five stars, I give six. Really fabulous to have this kind of service nearby since my job and sanity depend on it. Thank you so much CityMac. I’ve been stressing all day about my laptop not charging (working on a deadline) and thinking I would have to drop $$$ to buy a new one or fix the computer. The nice guy at the counter checked my charger and was able to get it working. I also didn’t know the name of an adapter for my phone and he was able to quickly get me one and it was affordable priced. Thanks again!

I needed help with my iPhone not charging. They were courteous and offered to take a look. When the technician returned with the phone he said it had some debris that he was able to clean out and showed me it was charging again. I reached for my wallet to pay him but he said there was no charge. I appreciate the professionalism and the help he showed me.

Customer service at CityMac was amazing! The girl who assisted us was very helpful and friendly, and even patient with my mom (who even got on the phone to call someone else for a password at one point). She also helped me locate an HDMI adapter that I needed, and was supportive when I started talking about my ex-girlfriend. Plus, she helped me delete all of my old pics! Just a fabulous time at CityMac. Would go again.

I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and attentive experience! I was visiting the United States and took my computer in to CityMac, very nervously, I might add.My touch pad was not functioning properly. I was put at ease very quickly, and told that I would need to leave my computer for a diagnosis. I was told it would take just over 24 hours. Sure enough, I received a very friendly phone message that my computer was ready for pick up. I expected a huge bill. However, I was told it was an easy software fix and there was no charge.Thank you so much, CityMac.

I don’t know why you would go any where else for your iPhone or Apple products or services. I had to learn this the hard way. I purchased a phone at Verizon today and found them to do little other than just sell me the phone. I am a bit technologically challenged and hadn’t been backing up my pictures on my old busted phone. Long story short, I was on the verge of tears in Verizon when they told me there was little they could do to help me retrieve them. Verizon actually sent me down the street to CityMac! When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the friendliest and most competent employee named Dylan. He assured me he would try his best to help. He was able to retrieve all of my data and pictures and was even kind enough to help me set up the phone. I can’t say enough about Dylan’s professionalism and CityMacs competence and customer service. They are a keeper.

All the employees at City Mac are great! Super nice and helpful! I was a little disappointed that they stopped giving out temp phones especially since IPhone 7 has a recall and they know people are bringing it in for repairs. But that has nothing to do with those who work there and is outside of their control! That is more of a complaint about CityMac as a whole.

I ended up with an additional data line and a new phone for the same rate I was already paying! Same monthly cost....but I’m getting so much more. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My phone battery swelled up, pushing the screen away from the body. Took it in, was helped immediately, and left the phone for a new battery installation. It was fixed sooner than promised and works perfectly now. City Mac employees are very customer oriented and its a pleasant environment. Technicians are great, the people out front are, too. He was honest with me deciding which would be the right fit for my work, and I was not pressured to get a more expensive Mac that was not necessary for my use (which I have felt at other stores in the past.) I use this Store for all my Apple devices.. cell phone, lap top and desk top computer. Today my computer was malfunctioning and Damien suggested I have it checked for malware. He said I could bring it right in. I did, went and got a cup of coffee before going home and then got a call 40 mins later that it was fixed.Damien took time to explain how to avoid malware, installed a screen protector on my new phone.. purchased from the store recently and I was off.Would be very interested in computer classes should the owners start offering them again.

I had been having a terrible time with my phone that last 3 months with it charging or using headphones unless I wrapped the cord around my phone and held it just right. I was to the point where I could not get it to charge at all. I was about to pay a $200 insurance deductible to replace it or spend $1000+ on a new phone. They cleaned my charging port out for FREE and it is working like new. Really simple issue but they were happy help like it was nothing. Really impressed with the customer service of this location.

Just had a great experience at CityMac on Tunnel Road. I had to buy a new iPhone after having my old one for 5 years and I had a lot of questions since my old iPhone was totally out of date. Anuj was extremely helpful took a lot of time to answer all my questions, set up the new iPhone, show me the new technology, get all the stuff transferred from my old phone. He went above and beyond and even helped me put on protective glass and new case. I thought I would have to go to Verizon for the transfer all my info after I bought the phone, but CityMac is able to do it all there for you and with much better customer service in my experience. I would definitely highly recommend CityMac.

I was helped immediately by a pleasant gentleman named Dillion Farley. He explained my problem sufficiently and reassured me that my problem was fixable. He gave me the approximate time it would take and suggested I walk around which I did. On return everything was in working order and Dillion assured me the cause of my problem was not uncommon, making me feel better. He then gave me his card and I was told to call or come back if further problems.

Disappointing customer service - twice. Stopped in on Sunday with daughters iPhone 5c. Staff member performed a battery check that showed a depleted battery. He recommended that we call on Monday morning to check availability of replacement battery with technical staff. I called on Monday morning requesting availability of replacement battery for the iPhone 5c and was told that they had multiple batteries available. I asked for re-confirmation and was assured that they were available for the 5c. My daughter stopped in this afternoon with her iPhone and was told that the batteries were not available and that Apple no longer manufactures batteries for the 5c. Why couldnt either the staff member who performed the battery check or the technician who confirmed the availability of the battery have let us know before we wasted our time coming to the store. It will have been our last visit. Very disappointing.

Regrettable experience. Discouraging. Staffs smiles seemed less than sincere. I was offered slow service that was very very expensive.I then contacted Apple directly.From Apple online- on the same matter -, I got super service for a small fraction of the cost offered by CityMac. I had updated to Catalina on my Mac and it screwed up all my programs and I had no access to my computer. I am a novice. I went to CityMac on Tunnel Rd in Asheville for help.
