My boyfriend and I have gone here a couple of times. We love painting pottery! It is very relaxing and the staff is always great help. They have our pieces ready in about a week for pickup. Great prices for a fun experience and a unique piece of art you get to keep for many years!

We are from Pinewood, SC. We went to Fired Up last Tuesday as a gift to ourselves for our 24th anniversary. It was awesome! We recommend it very highly. We did glass fusing projects. My husband was reluctantly going along, but he had a blast and made himself a larger bowl than I did. I cannot wait for our bowls to be fired and sent to us at home!

There were tons of options to choose from to paint pottery. My 10 year old LOVED it. We paid extra to have it shipped to our house (we were on vacation). It arrived in perfect condition looking exactly as we had hoped. The employee was extremely helpful and friendly as well. If we are ever in town, we will definitely stop by again!

I totally loved the experience!! It’s lovely place & the artist are very helpful . They would guide you in the entire process and help you choose Color’s if you’re finding it difficult. Me & my husband went for the activity and both of us loved it . Also, the prices are good . I would recommend if you are in Asheville! We are waiting for our courier 😀

I have not done crafts like this in many many years. The young lady that helped us was very nice and polite. She showed us everything we needed to know to work on our craft projects. I chose to paint ceramics. I felt the prices were reasonable and we had a lot of fun. I would love to have seen more stamps to use but there was a good variety. I cannot wait to see my finished product. I do not live in the area so it will need to be shipped to me. I recommend this for anyone wanting to spend a few hours doing something different.

This is such a fun place. My office spent a couple of hours painting some pottery. Cant wait to see how it turns out after its fired! They take care of cleaning up the mess and firing the pieces that are painted. You get a crash course in what to do to make your masterpieces then youre on youre way!

Great place to let your creativity flow. Choose from a relatively large selection of pre-baked pottery and food-safe paints to create your own unique piece of pottery. Instructions available for various painting techniques though youre pretty much on your own to figure out what you want to create. They also have a Potters wheel, glass melting and pottery canvas painting. Prices are reasonable. Pottery is fired within a week of your visit and available for pickup or delivery via mail.

Ive wanted to come here since the last time I was in Asheville ( I think a lot of my reviews start like this? ) a few months ago. Ive done glass fusing at the Corning museum of glass in NY and love it.I was trying to make a field of wildflowers, which definitely looked better in my mind, and hubby made a sailboat ( my idea! ). See the pics below. Ill also post pics of the finished items when we receive them.I also love that they have other stuff to do like pottery painting! And their stuff is totally different than Dish it Out in Charlotte! I wanted to paint something too but my hubby was tired of sitting!

Fun idea for kidsperation...needed more resources/choices for the glass fusion activity.

We had such a fun time at Fired Up! We were early for our reservation, but this wasnt an issue and were able to go right in and start our visit. The staff are super nice and really helpful in picking out colors, pieces, and overall explaining the process and tips to help you create the best piece you can. The inside is cute and has plenty of supplies, and they take care of cleaning up everything when you are done. We were just visiting, so we will be getting our pottery shipped to us. I cant wait to see how they turn out!

We did the glass fusing and it was great. We had it shipped because we were from out of town. It came in today and I love it! Every one had a blast.

We went for a ladies night to learn how to do glass fusing. Staff was super patient, there were lots of materials (I mean your time is limited it isnt worth standing and waiting to use glass cutters) and extra cutters/tweezers etc. I will definitely go back, especially if they have themed glass fusing like Christmas ornaments, snowflakes, Mothers Day gifts...I really would like to make one of their retro pottery Christmas trees next year. I am so impressed with these folks. I have two daughters, 13 and 10 ( one a perfectionist and the other an easy going kid). We wanted to go here and do a few items for Fathers day but could not muster the time for an all day adventure.Okay, so three months after Fathers day we went to their location to get ideas. Low and behold the owner said we could take the pieces home and sketch lightly with pencil to get the perfect ideas, then paint them later at their store, when the stencil was made. This was heaven sent for us.We are so delighted with the ceramics now that they are made. Best of all, the imagination was in the comfort of our own home. Both daughters could create at their own speed. I waited 3 months for my Fathers day gift but the biggest gift of all was knowing that we could do this without tears and on our time.Thank you Linda and the wonderful team for making this possible. We will definitely recommend you to everyone.Signed, one happy papa!

My girlfriend and I had a great time creating our own glass fusions! It was reasonable priced and so much fun! We got clear instructions, shown all of the tools, and then were let loose to get creative! Definitely reccomend

We had a super fun time painting pottery! The staff was super helpful. The atmosphere was super relaxed. I painted a giant Christmas tree and my friends decorated a plate and mug. We all had a great time and LOVED how our things turned out. They do ship things to you if you are from out of town and cant make it back to pick up the finished product.

My wife and I took a friend here for a surprise Birthday get together. Ethan, showed us everything to choose from and was very nice. Even asked us what we would like to jam to. After we all chose different pots to paint we then popped the bottle of champagne to toast the Birthday girl. Its awesome that they will allow you to bring in drinks to hang out and paint pots. Oh Asheville=) We had a wonderful time here and would recommend Fired Up to anyone that wants to get crafty. We will be back for sure.

Great little place to go in Asheville for a creative fun time. My granddaughter and wife loved it and our pottery we painted turned out awesome. I would definitely return when Im in the area again

Lots of fun and lots of choices of crafts. You can paint canvas, pottery to be glazed, make mosaics and more. Received my pottery in the mail. It was great! Very well packed and the glaze looked awesome.

Its a great place to relax and loose yourself to creativity while you make something for your home or as a gift. I drive an hour from Tennessee just to go to this place.

Get little shop that teaches pottery and painting I think we stopped by to buy some wine bottle art things she made. Very nice woman. Real positive vibes from her and her shop.

Went with my youth group, we made murals with materials that they provided. I really liked it. Great people and a nice space inside. They also have bathrooms.

Great place to take any age participant! It was fun and relaxing, however I didnt receive much help from the staff.

My family had a wonderful time creating their pieces of pottery. My grandchildren are 11 years old, 9 years old and 3 years old. They enjoyed all the choices and had trouble choosing one piece but they did! The three year old did a mug. We were all pleasantly surprised at how carefully she did her piece and how lovely it came out. We had our pieces shipped to us and they all turned out beautiful. We will definitely make this a stop for the next time we visit.

Nice place to have fun and paint or craft. Too pricey so you can only go like once a year.. but good options for glass and pottery. Helpful staff.

We are a family of 5. Our 12, 9, and 5 year old kids each found something in the store that they took an interest in painting. It was a unique and fun family experience! The kids want to revisit the shop if we go to Asheville again! My 12 yr old painted a cookie jar. My 9 year old painting ninja swords on a tile. My 5 yr old painted a cute alien he named Chompy.The shop shipped our pieces to our house. Everything came very well wrapped!
