My young sister wanted to return an item she had bought 5 minutes prior (after all in my group had spent lot of $$$ here) and was informed by the lady behind the counter “Sorry, we don’t do returns.” This service is frustrating, why shop local when you can get better service (and prices) at a chain store?

One of my favorite stores in downtown Asheville! They have such great style I have a hard time not buying everything in there. Definitely come here if you want something unique. The staff is awesome too!

Its cool but I dont think its that unique aside from the hand made jewelry. They have basically the same stuff Ive seen in every boutique in the downtown of every major city (expensive greeting cards, candles, etc) except there are some things that say Asheville like coasters and stuff. They also have a bunch of stickers by the checkout which is cool because Im a sticker addict but even the small ones are expensive. So are the post cards which is annoying. They also have holiday specific stuff fyi

This is one of my FAVORITE shops in Asheville. If I need a gift, if I need a greeting card, if I just want to treat myself.....Duncan & York is my go to shop. Such fun and unique shop! AND it is on Lexington Avenue, my FAVORITE street for a true Asheville experience.
