Excellent store with great selection and good prices. Their chicken tends to be kinda tough, but the rest of their meats are wonderful. Excellent selection of spices, cereals, and anything else you need; though, their organic produce selection is a bit wanting. Always friendly and helpful staff. We love shopping there.

Used to be a great store but it seems theres never enough cashiers and theyre always completely wiped out of many of the products

The quality of the sushi has declined sharply in the last year. The type of sushi offered seems to be not sushi at all but American style selections with mayonaise and sweet sauce on top. The other more traditional trays are few in variety and quality of fish has become disgusting. I have been a loyal customer of this sushi vendor since they opened at Smart & Final years ago. That ends today.

Good place for buying in bulk. Always check out the ads for good deals in different departments. Sometimes customer service could be better when checking out.

This place smells like a rotting corpse 100% of the time, Im not sure whats going on in there but none of the employees seem to acknowledge it. Great prices, but its not worth shopping there for terrible stench.

Standard grocery store format.Funnily they left up a 6 foot tall sign encouraging you to pick any lane, when instead they funnel you into a single line, complete with an automated voice telling you which lane to go to - felt more like a Frys

I have constantly been told by different people that this location has bias against people of color. Never believed until today. Got in line behind this gentleman, the cashier took her sweet time as I patiently waited, and once she was done, closed the till as if I didnt exist. I walked right in front of her, just incase I was too dark for her to see me. She looked up, and dismissively and with an arrogant tone what did you want? I just shook my head and walked out and glad I didnt answer her.

Wasnt crowded around 5pm on a Thursday. Had a nice amount of stocked items.

This store is awesome and very on top of protecting their costumers from covid-19. I love their prices on most things as well. Very kind costumer service too

Ive been shopping at Smart & Final Atascadero for a couple years, personally and for business. Richard has been especially helpful in taking emailed business orders and helping me find product. Prices are good. Store is clean and organized. Employees are nice. One of my favorite stores in Atascadero.

Nice to go to a grocery store that is clean and tidy. Clerks are always there in the event you cant find what your looking for. Nice going to a store early where there arent many people.

Since we have Smart & Final @ Atascadero i. didnt go Costco because i found all groceries in big packet like Costco.....only problem in here cashier are very rude unfriendly. Not good with customers..need a improve staff way they talk not all some of them and they are young ladies.

The whole store smells like a dead body and keeps getting worse its almost unbearable and I dont know why I dont hear people talking about it

Only 4 stars due to being out of stock of Panera Bread brand mac n cheese. The havenother PB products, but not the mac n cheese.

I went into the store looking for cookies, my wife has cookies and coffee for customers daily. She likes to get a good verify of flavors for the customers.She had gotten Bakers Batch, in the past but had lost track of the brand. She was excited when I told her that I had found the brand again.

Clean store, poor quality produce, but great prices on meat. Always have had pleasant customer service.

I love what they have in the store and its nice to buy in larger quantities, but there are a lot of homeless hanging around and the doors dont work well. I also often see the employees in the parking lot chatting with friends or just relaxing at the outdoor tables when are clearly supposed to be gathering carts.

Price is like other stores in town, store is clean, fruit & vegetables are fresh. Employees are helpful! Got in the 14 itmes or less lane by accident & was still helped out. Awesome!

The Atascadero store is clean and well organized . The food is fresh, and well displayed. The rotisserie chickens are delicious and a great value at 3lbs for 6.99. The flavor is amazing! Good store for shopping!

They have decent to good prices. Meat produce very good quality. Usually long lines and the manager rarely opens additional lines or helps cashiers bag groceries.

It would have got five stars but sometimes it takes a while to check up out of there cuz they dont have enough checkers. But beyond that this Smart & Final has a lot of items that the other stores around dont have. Its a huge store for small Atascadero. The parking lot is a good set up also. The store is clean in the produce is always fresh. They also have good deals to its a bulk item store so sometimes you end up spending a lot but you get a lot also

This is by far the best produce here in Atascadero and everyone that works in that department are really nice. It seems like some items either they aren’t stocking or they just out. But I do love shopping that store. It has become my go to shopping grocery store

Two checkers, a line already around the beer and close to the meat section. Ill pay a little more and go to Vons.

Im pretty happy we have one in Atascadero now. Love being able to buy in bulk, theyve got some great deals. I also ground up some coffee beans here and had the best homemade coffee of my life.

Wad easy to find what I needed and the express line was clear sailing. I recommend S&F to everyone.

I was at Smart & Final today. I have an addiction to Tootsie Roll lollipops. Your store is the only one in town to get them at in a box. Unbelievably today there were four boxes there. I only took three though. I wish you would stock motor through a lollipop boxes since you run out quite frequently. Aside from that everybodys nice the store is clean the prices are reasonable.

I had bought sushi from here and it was spoiled, the service was bad and I wouldn’t recommend this store, go to Vons instead.

My cousin works her and shes my favorite so Im giving it a 5 star and Lamont is very nice.

Most of the time I come here, staff is friendly. But Ive had a couple of bad experiences with a checker. One time she was simply so rude that I ended up calling and complaining about how she treated me and I normally wouldnt do that. Another time they gave me grief over using manufacturers coupons and were not going to honor my coupons. Both times management were great about it and fixed the problems. Never be afraid to ask to speak to the manager here. They want to make your experience a good one.

Decent place to shop. Some items are a little more expensive than other grocery stores but they also have (in my opinion) a better quality selection of product.

This was the 5th visit in a row that I went to this store only to find that they dont have one or more of the items in their ad. They run out of product. They are located right next to Food 4 Less which is very competitive in pricing.

They dont stock all the items youd find at a supermarket, but a good selection of the basics. Good choices for bulk and quantity items, and some, not all prices are lower. Also cleaning, restaurant and commercial supplies.

Its a good place to shop I find what I need and theres no waiting in the checkout that much at all employees are always willing to help you out when needed

I like the store and the staff. HOWEVER, you have a big problem with your perishable goods. Meaning, produce & meats are short-coded. Several fruits & veg rotten 1-2 days after purchase. Meat in case routinely short code. The problem is either in your distribution channel, or, perishable not being put out when arriving via truck. Has anyone done a cost analysis on this? My guess is that you pay a lot for wasted goods. Maybe it would cost you less to hire 1 employee part-time in both depts to put what you rcv out rather than storing it in back. Im not going to buy a large pkg of chicken breasts with exp. date 2 days away.

Smart & Final is close by my house and there prices are better then food 4 less i will be shopping there more often.

Terrible store !!! If you are in a hurry dont go to this store !! The cashiers are fn slow !! If you ask anyone a question noone knows the answer, if you are there to buy meat that is advertised on sale dont expect them to have it, expect to go home with a rain check for dinnerUpdate... Terrible again go in for a quick item and it takes 20 minutes.

Disappointing. No butcher anywhere to get some sale items out like Atlantic Salmon. I was in electric cart and checker ignored me while chatting w person behind me. Not a place fir respect of handicapped for sure!

The store is ok. Not what I am used to so I will have to adjust. The produce is not as good as the Albertsons I loved. Floors are dirty, especially in the produce department. There are not alot of choices when it comes to brands. Not enough organics.

I enjoy going to this grocery store because the prices, availabilit and selection of what Im looking for and what Im interested in are always available. The size of the store is very large so it is never crowded and that is a plus.

I am really disappointed with smart and final Atascadero, when asking about corn they showed a disinterest and apathy for me that was a client needed a box of corn was not too late for the boy to say that until the next day they would put more were 6 : 30 pm, I had to go to the store in Paso Robles
