Great people work here. I had an interaction with 5 staff members there today for various reasons oh, and they were all so pleasant and helpful. One brought me a mobility cart which I need it, another person answered my questions about a product in the produce department and was helpful, and then there was a lady in the Dairy service area who helped find me vital Farms butter. We had a lovely discussion about the different products for sale and where they came from. When I checked out DJ the checker was helpful, and then another person whose name I failed to get, went to the car with me and put the stuff in the car. Outstanding customer service. And last but not least, the Starbucks employee was equally helpful and made a delightful drink for me.

This was the first time I was in Vons, I was in the area for a Wedding. I found the store very easy to locate what I needed and the staff very courteous. Excellent experience.

Service is always horrible. Shelfs always not stalked with all products. Butcher takes multiple long breaks and cant be found.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Drive Up & Go has an option of No Substitutions... if the product you purchase is out of stock or unavailable they replace it unless you click No Substitution. No matter how many times I ask for No Substitutions, I still am substituted for other brands or meat items that are not related to what I want. Or they are much more expensive.Plus I have been given items that are going to expire in a day or 2.After giving so many chances, I will not be shopping at this store. Im tired of addressing this with customer service every single time. Not happy. 😡

We came from Arizona to visit some friends, went to this Vons and couldnt believe their prices. Were not used to paying those high prices. Come - On - Now! $3:00 for an Avocado? Is the rest of CA groceries that high? Cant wait to go back home!

This Vons is well stocked and very clean. They have a great floral & gift area and their deli and meat department is one of the best in the area. Easy location to find and minutes away from the 101 and the 41 in Atascadero.

A lady named Michelle is very rude to the customers that pay with ebt. I have been in her line a few times and every time she is nice until she finds out the payment is ebt then she gets really rude. But every one else is nice and the store is clean

Went to Vons to do some grocery shopping with being new to the area and liked the prices on the ad. That was short lived. Asked 2 employees for help because I wasn’t seeing things with the ad prices. No one knew anything. So I went to customer service asked for help. She gave me a flyer. Told me I need to go online to register my card that she ha drs to me with NO info and walked away. So I asked for further help and someone else comes up to help me figure this out. And then I get told to get the special U savings that I have to call a toll free number to activate that so I can start using the app for those special prices and that process takes more than a week to get processed. By then the ads will be expired for the items I want to purchase. Everyone seemed to be rude and didn’t give a damn about their customers! Thanks for nothing. I now drive out of town and buy my groceries somewhere else because I got nowhere with anyone in that store.

The employees are nice and helpful. The butchers and meat department are awesome. However, drive up service is really really bad. They also have a hard time keeping things in stock. I would blame Covid but the Vons down in SLO doesnt have the same problem so.....

Hay VONS IS VONS. They have you want. This store is clean, well stocked, with very courteous staff. You go guys.

Vons is always a convenient stop for groceries, and this particular one is well managed. The store is generally clean, well stocked, and properly staffed. There are a few times where things were sold out, or the lines were crazy long, but that was usually due to high traffic holidays or Covid related shopping spikes.This location also benefits from 6 self check-out registers, allowing you to skip the long line and get in and out quickly. They have an in-store Starbucks location as well, allowing you to get the energy needed for early morning, or late night, grocery runs.The last thing I’ve noticed about this location is that they seem to try and stock a good variety of alternative groceries such as vegan/dairy-free/vegetarian/gluten-free options which is great as not every place does.

Good selection, unless its an item thats just a little popular and goes on sale... Then forget it.... Unless you are determined enough to get there right when the sale starts. That being said, they have a better selection than other stores in A-town that run out of stuff all the time... But I will say, Vons is more pricy than the others, thats for sure. Their sale prices are like the other stores regular prices for the most part. Sometimes a little better, but not by much.

Stock was low when I visited. In your local section, the Linns Fruit Bin items were completely out of Ollaliberry jam. Very unfortunate since I usually get 5 at a time.

On Christmas Eve VONS was open and efficient. When I picked up the items I came in for I made my way to the checkout lanes and I saw one long, very long line. To my surprise it went incredibly fast! VONS is a great store.

Nice staff but wearing masks is not enforced. Staff will not request that customers put masks on when shopping. Disappointing for someone like me who’s trying to be as safe as possible.

Vons needs to have their line monitor watch for customers with a few items and have a quick line for check-out. I had 3 items and the line was all the way down the produce isle--Im not going to wait 30-45 minutes for 3 items. I set them down and left. The self check line was 15 customers long.

The deli lady makes excellent sandwiches.i love the veggie sandwich.she put lettuce and oils and vinegar on it luke subway.yummy.

Keys were not successfully made although the place did return my text an hour later.

The deli made me a sandwich and i was told there was no tomatoes for my sandwich really in a grocery store no tomatoes.

The local sushi guy next to the deli(Andrew) is dope and the product is amazing! Great and convenient for a delicious fresh sushi bite!The pokky bowl and volcano rolls are particularly delish!!! Make sure to try it out when you go shopping!! Price is right as well- nomnomnom

Kay the cashier, was very rude and has a big mouth. She is a terrible representative for Vons, and by looking at the rest of the reviews, other customers have had problems with her also. I Will not be shopping here until she is gone. It was embarrassing to say the least.

Cut my arm bumping into a fixture was uncomfortable waiting in line asked for assistance to get a Band-Aid and check out was treated very rudely by the manager you can look at the film despicable the way they treat customers

Great organic produce and the self service lines seem never to close

Went in for some cupcakes walked in and straight out there was a 20 min line to get in and an hrs wait line to check out !! I literly walked in and saw all the people alot with no mask and i didnt buy anything and left !!

My go to grocery store. Management does a good job of keeping a high standard. Store is always clean and stocked. Lines can get a little long is my only complaint. But nevertheless, still my favorite store. Good selection of items and nice layout.

I waited three days, called each day to follow up and to find out today that whoever he orders stuff from didnt bother sending him what I needed. Whoever that is failed us. Great store has everything you need, employees need to do a better job enforcing mask policy. Saw way to many people there without masks on and it made me feel unsafe.

They sold us really bad oysters when they said there were fresh yuck they had red stuff.

You can get just about all your grocery needs at Vons, although they dont have specialty items (we were hoping to find ghee). The Atascadero Vons is clean and friendly and well managed (at least, that was our impression).

Vons in Atascadero does not require patrons to wear a mask, during Covid crisis.UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Why not? I posted this review, and had to return the next day .( Essential work related.) They were in the midst of revising their policy. Mask are now required. Great, better late than never!

Great deli meats, however recently with COVID they have had few checkers so there is always a longer line unless you want to use self checkout.

This company Vons in Atascadero use to be nice to shop at, everytime I go in there the customer service lady Sarah and others are so incredibly rude. They lack so much. Customer service, friendliness, no one smiles or ask you can I help you find something. Its just a terrible place to shop. Mostly the employees make the shopping experience bad, I dread going in and thats sad.

Leadership is very poor quality here. Manager Daniel was a nightmare to deal with, going so far as to hang up on me when I tried to get his employee information after he failed to act accordingly during a recent store visit. I had items stolen from my cart (portable charger in a nice case with an expensive memory card in it, USB cable attached and other things of value inside) but couldnt get Daniel to access the cameras in order to see who took them. His dismissive tone was clearly nothing out of the ordinary as he seemed all to comfortable speaking to me this way. Come on Vons, you really need to get it together with the leadership team. I cannot express how upset I am with the way Ive been treated, and its not just this location...

I wish theyd get my Vernons ginger ale in 6 packs...need it for my nausea...ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET IT NOT IN 2 LITRE BOTTLES PLEASE

Just remodeled. Looks great! Always been a great store with lots of variety & choices. Toiletry items & health products (Tylenol, eye drops, make up) way too expensive, but FOOD items are very reasonable by todays excessive standards. Employees are friendly, helpful & cashiers are fast. Excellent store.

I dont really like this store but it is really close to home. I really should not be to hard on them since they are under a lot of pressure from the governor and all. Today they were drastically limiting the amount of people that could enter the store. Ive never had to wait in line before. Personally, I think it should be one or the other. If we are all waring masks, whats the harm in there being the normal amount of teaffic? Its just overkill on something so many people are sick of.

Usually I just shop here when stuff goes in sale, if it is a good sale.Their prices are too much at times and know where to shop for regular purchases. I do enjoy their deli, seafood/butcher and veggies. I look at the flyers on Tuesday and write down my shopping list for each store.
