Last night my iphone mysteriously stopped working. After trying all kinds of fixes, I decided to go to the Athol Verizon- my husband said he would pray for me since he thought it would take endless hours! Sara B., the Associate there was amazing! She actually opened the door early when she saw a couple of us out there. She took care of 2 of us at once and resolved my issue quickly and efficiently! Thank you!!
Worst experience ever. The young man who was working was very abrupt and seemed like he did not want to be there and we were a problem. Instead of bad mouthing one of your service providers by saying “Verizon is not going to let $300 get away!” Additionally, the gentlemen who he was helping prior to us he could have shown a little courtesy rather then blurting out you owe Verizon money. Very unprofessional and I will not be returning.

Salesperson didnt even tell me about the different iPhone 11 options and then never informed me when the phone was delivered. After leaving a couple messages without a returned call I was finally able to get a hold of a person who said they would cancel/return the phone no problem, yet it is still listed in my Verizon account. I typically only go to a corporate location, but didnt know this location was actually a Go Wireless because it isnt branded as such. Stick with the corporate stores
My son got his new phone shipped to him. So we went to the Athol Verizon store to purchase some accessories. When we got there the associate was with a customer so we looked around. After about 15-20 minutes he finally asks what is it that you are looking for but asks in such a way that he made me feel like my presence was bothering him.I explained what I needed and he said well we have a few cases here & there are some over on that wall. We dont have the Iphone chargers. You should probably just go to Walmart. Then returned to the customer who was making a big purchase.SERIOUSLY??? I have been in customer service for YEARS... You sir, should be fired!!!
I went in today to cancel my phone line and open up a new one, but as soon as I walked in and said that, I was turned DOWN and told to call a customer service line in order to cancel my phone line, and wasn’t even given a number. I searched up online for a customer service number and when I called they couldn’t me when the man in the store told me they could. As someone who works in customer service is shames me to even write this. It’s sad that Sara, the general manager, is the only one there that always helps me with everything, and she can’t be there all the time. She has a life to live, but can’t leave the store with someone incompetent to take care of a situation dealing with customer service. It’s sad that you’ll find better customer service from anywhere else.
The person who assisted me was friendly and helpful. I had to wait because the manager decided to make a personal call in the store and didnt seem happy to be there. The selection of phones is now very small. Big box stores have better selection and overall service.
I have had the the best experience anyone could ask for. I cant praise Sara enough!! In my opinion she went above & beyond. She was friendly, patient, informative & hands on. I can honestly say that she helped me in so many ways, that l left that store extremely happy!! You deal with people on a daily basis, which l did for 27 years in a billing department, and I am pleased to have been lucky enough to go & get the best service ever. Kudos to Verizon for having such a gem on staff!
Sara is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I wouldnt go to anyone else to buy a phone from or answer any questions I have about my phone or plan. She has helped me out a number of times. I am 100% a happy customer! Shell make sure you get the right product and service from Verizon. And shes super friendly!
This is a great, local store. The manager was very patient and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to find the plan that best suited our needs. She listened to what we needed and matched us to the products that would (and do) work best for us!
Joe really knows his stuff, understands plans and promos well making the buying experience easier and more of a treat. Also very knowledgeable when it comes to technical stuff.
Excellent customer service! Sara was awesome! Explained everything very well. She was great with my daughter when she was getting bored, even gave her paper and markers to draw with. I will definitely be coming back again
Thank you to Ken and Ryan for all their help with my phone and iPad upgrades. They were able to explain the new features and technology to me and helped me get off to a great start. When I returned a couple of days later with my list of questions, they were again very helpful. I’m sure I’ll be back with more questions and look forward to their help. It’s great to have a Verizon store right in town.
Great store always helpful will do everything they can to make sure you leave happy. Sara the manager is a great person that makes the business 10 times better. Need a phone or just fixing your plan go see Sara and she will fix you up good.

On 2 separate purchases, I was enthusiastically welcomed promptly and my questions were answered. I left both times satisfied with the wait time, cleanliness, staffs product knowledge, and most important to me....their willingness to help...to do their job and to do it well! I was impressed with the customer service provided by Sarah B. She took such great care of my my mother last year that when I went back a year later for myself she raised the bar even further by making me feel that this was the right purchase for me right now...and for the future of my familys mobile needs.
Not impressed with the store especially the manager.... I recently found out that Verizon believe it adjusting the speeds of your service... Where I live I get the best coverage from them but their prices are exorbitant... And if you need anything really done the Gardner store is only asatellite store wake means to you as a customer that they cannot perform things you may need if you went to Springfield Worcester or leominster...
Love going to Go Wireless in Athol. Sara is always offers wonderful customer service and is very knowledgeable of the products. They have a great selection of accessories and everyone who works in there is very friendly and welcoming. I will be sure to always go see Sara for all my phone needs!
I was extremely pleased with the service I received at this Verizon retailer. The store managers name was Sara and she was very informed, friendly and helpful. I have a business phone line she set up for me and I have been very happy with the phones and the service. I would recommend working though this store for anyone in the area....

I had to replace my very old phone. I couldnt access my info since the phone had frozen (battery had to be removed and replaced to unfreeze it, which I didnt realize). I was concerned and went to the Athol store. Sara helped me with the problem, and she was terrific, polite, patient, and totally set me at ease. I hope this review greatly adds to her value to Verizon.
I wanted to take the time and say what a wonderful experience I had at the Verizon go wireless store in Athol. I just got a new Samsung Galaxy 9 and Sara took the time to help me learn this new phone inside and out. If you need a new phone or just need help with an old one take the time and go in. I just left the store and dealt with Ryan. I was in for a new glass screen protector. Ryan was very professional. He greeted me when I walked into the store even though he was with another customer and said he would be with me as soon as he could as he was gonna multitask. It didnt take him long to wait on me.. this was a big difference from my experiences in this store within the last 2 weeks. I had been in the store 3 times prior to this all in the mornings where I wasnt even egnolaged. all 3 times I ended up walking out after 15 minutes. I will be sure to always go in the evenings from here on out.. if it wasnt for the lifetime replacement insurance on the protector through this store I wouldnt of gone back after the 2 nd time being snubbed by the morning employees.. But I am glad I went in tonight and finally had a good experience.
I traded my old phone for a new one and Tommy did an outstanding job. Tommy went above and beyond for me and my wife. This store has my business from now on.

Havent been into the Market Basket plaza Verizon/gowireless store personally yet, but Ive called, and the phone rings and rings and rings and rings and rings and rings. Apparently people who work with phones dont know how to answer them

I am very happy with the service I receive at the store. Sara Bachman is an amazing asset to your company. I am very technologically handicapped. She has helped me on numerous occassions. Most times I will come back for help when she is back in the building rather than deal with someone else. If she were to leave Im not certain what I would do

Called to make sure I could get a new screen protector for my phone because I have a unlimited # of replacements with my plan and was told they cant replace it because I bought my phone and plan in Rindge, NH and they dont have a store in Rindge. Awesome thanks
Horrible service. I have gone twice and it was terrible both times. The first time I asked an employee if he could help me figure out why my phone wasnt charging well he was rude and said I should just buy a new phone. The second time I went I was ignored in the lobby for 10 minutes not even greeted in the store. An employee came out of the back and very rudely asked what I wanted it seemed like she was mad I was there. She then gave me no help while looking for a new phone.
The store is excellent because of the woman (Sarah) who runs it. She is smart, capable and always able to problem solve virtually anything. She is awesome.

Holy customer service Batman!I was visiting family in the area miles away from home when my lifeline (iPhone) decided to throw a fit and delete itself entirely. It was probably something I did wrong as I am not super techy and my sister recommended that i go to this store.Long story short, Sara was beyond wonderful! She greeted me with a smile and reassured me that she would help reconnect me to the world. She spent over an hour looking into what happened and was able to not only reload All of my info from the iCloud but she also figured out how to get my work email on my phone which hasnt worked since the day I got the phone even after 3 other stores tried and failed.It was a dream experience and I hope every Verizon store has at least one Sara in it! Alright listen up. Im reposting because google took my last post down for using profane language, but I TRULY cannot explain my excitement and admiration for this store. I frequent this location for all of my wireless needs and there is only ONE man who can truly help me with all of my needs. This man is tommy, although his gorgeous blue eyes are soul-piercing and intimidating, he is honestly the most helpful employee that I have ever met. From sitting on the phone with customer service for over an hour for me, all the way to selling me the DOPEST phone case on the market, this guy does it all. Support this business.
