Called in just to ask a simple question and the representative was rude and hung up on me. Clearly, they do not have time to answer your questions for you. I do not recommend this location.

Worst customer service experience of my life. Attempted to buy a $700 product for almost 20 minutes with zero help or assistance in doing so. Just lost a loyal customer. Horrible.

The team at this Ace was extremely helpful in my search for paint, even recommending a paint store competitor when they didn’t have what I needed. The supply chain crisis is leaving paint in short supply at the retail level. JJ and the team were very honest in the likelihood of getting the paint within my timeframe. They sent me to the competitor and I walked away with what I needed the same day. The customer focus at this Ace was extraordinary.

Two male employees at the front of the door made eye contact with me as I stepped into the store and neither one of them asked if I needed help, or said good morning, nothing. This was a Sunday about 15 minutes after they opened. Didnt even respond to my good morning. So, I turned around and walked out - at least the woman by the exit said have a good one. Shes the only reason theyre getting two stars. Ive been coming to this hardware store for 30 years and the customer service has really gone downhill.

From the cashiers all the way to the managers, everyone is extremely friendly and very helpful. This is the only place that I will get keys cut, all the other big box stores keys are awful.

Had a great experience at Ace today. Our stiehl chainsaw wasnt cranking and we brought it by. With no technician there on a Saturday, Jerry, the store manager, was able to take a look at the chainsaw and got it fixed for us! Really appreciate his efforts, definitely has the neighborhood store feel vs the big box stores. Thanks a million!

Definitely still has that original feel to the place everytime i walk inside the store, they still have what you need inside, & they have definitely added more inventory to the store!

Didnt not feel any sense of urgency for filling my propane tank today. I fill tanks here on average of twice per month, but I will no longer waste my time here after watching the person. That would eventually come out after being call to continue to stock some minuscule items on the retail shelves.I like to shop where I feel valued.

I wish I could give NO stars review! Contractors, tradesmen and builders beware. No friendly to our kind and way way way over price. The C.C. I was using would not chip so i asked if i could swype and NO. I ask can you manual put in and NO. The guy in the picture i included was so rude, i will never be back.

The staff at ACE Chastain are some of the kindest retail workers I’ve encountered, not to mention the magnitude of products they carry. They were so helpful helping me pick out which Yeti I should purchase for the summer. I am SO HAPPY with my decision, but I couldn’t have made an informed decision without having a chat with a few of the employees. Before I moved to the area I shopped big box home improvement stores but after visiting ACE Chastain and being helped by the employees... I find myself popping into this store whether I’m looking for lightbulbs, hardware for a home project or a gift for Father’s Day. With all of the new shelter in place rules, they are all wearing masks and make me feel extremely safe! They communicate new products and sales on their Facebook so follow them!!! Happy shopping neighbors!

Although Ace may not stock everything the big box stores do, they will usually have what you need. At this store, very often a sales associate will meet you as you enter the front door to help you find what you need. Ace hardware helps conserve one of my most valuable resources, time. Plus, the staff here are always friendly. Most have been around a long time and recognize all the locals who shop here.

I have been to better staffed ACE Hardware stores with exceptional customer service. Chastain ACE seemed a bit tired and under stocked in some departments. Could have had the same level of customer service at the Home Depot down the road and saved a few bucks.

I actually had the opportunity to work with this group and I must say the leadership and staff runs a great store- I was really impressed with the training and overcoming obstacles on the sales floor - Great customer service skills - cool and friendly staff - Product knowledge and training use to be a thing of the past / Not with FIX IT ACE HARDWARE CHASTAIN- Excellent training program !! Pride teamwork and this Ace goes above and beyond not only meeting ... but far exceeding all expectations- beautiful new store - Merchandising at its best ! Cramped store, but has a great selection. The prices are a bit higher than Lowe’s or Home Depot, but not high enough to warrant traveling a longer distance. The check out people are funny and nice.

Ive been in and out of this store over the years, so its a shame to witness the decline.*My wife was put through the ringer when she returned something, regardless of the no hassle return policy. Had to get the owner on the phone to get her money back.*Floor is dirty, place smells like sewage, disorganized.*Service used to be better, not as many salesmen as there used to be.I dont know what happened, but with the lack of salesmen (and not that guy who just talks into the radio all day in the front) and hassle about returns, Id say this store isnt long to exist. Hope new management cleans it up.

While we still sometimes go to one of the big box home improvement stores, theres nothing quite like visiting our local Ace Hardware for that personal, small town feel and experience.The friendly and knowledgeable staff are always offering to help without being intrusive, and when you have a question, they will go the extra mile to understand what you need before just selling you what you may have asked for.

Like every other Ace Ive visited, the staff here is top notch. Never once have I felt dumb as I hold up a screw and ask for help. They have a range of products from keychains to the Green Egg, holiday decorations to birthday cards. I signed up for their free membership but dont buy enough for it to amount to anything.
