I had the displeasure of being treated like garbage by …the coldest, most rude, snippy cashier I’ve encountered in a LONG time this morning. I was polite with my inquiry, and she was extremely rude, and then proceeded to berate my needs and express disdain for the fact I existed in front of me to another coworker. Deplorable behavior. I won’t be spending my money here, nor will I be swiping my company credit card here for anything, ever again.

Nice people really helpful more than just hardware

I have been visiting this location for the past year to refill my propane tanks about twice a month. I also purchase small tools and miscellaneous items. I came in today to get a refund on a couple items. The lady at the counter immediately gave me attitude. I was trying to get a refund so I can purchase the correct items. She just waved me off and said go look for what I needed. The gentleman on the floor was extremely helpful and accommodating, giving me information on when they would have the product back in stock and to check their website. When I went back up to the counter to get the refund, the lady said I should just keep the original products that I bought because they wouldn’t be able to resell it. Then she continued to mumble under her breath and shaking her head while processing my refund. I don’t understand why that is necessary.Needless to say, I will not be back and I will purchase my propane and other items at another place.

Very friendly staff. Gentleman walked me to aisle and assisted me in selecting right product. He asked if there was anything else. Will definitely recommend them to others.

Every time I have been in this store, the customer service has been top of the line. Recently went in to get some help with my Big Green Egg set up and the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely will be going back.

Your phone listens to your conversations in order to tailor advertising. Well, this Ace must be tuning into my thoughts. They have had every little and large do-dad and nick-nack that I have needed over the last few months. I have no clue how they fit all these things in such a small place. Keep up the excellent work.

The customer service most of the staff provide have always been courteous and kind. I would like the cashier to do the same, not very pleasant!!! 🤨

Staff is helpful and fairly friendly. Offer assistance right as you walk in but dont bother if you say your fine.

Love having a local hardware store. Some of the people are really helpful but I’ve had really unfriendly customer service twice. They have great selections of paint brushes and wheels. Two things that I was purchasing lately. They also carry Amy Howard one step/chalk paint that I love to use for furniture.

I went to Ace Hardware last week to get a new FOB for my Honda Civic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The whole process was easy, quick, and the FOB works great!

Aaron really helped us out today. I walked in not knowing quite what I needed, but Aaron was able to help me choose the proper equipment in order to secure my shelves to the Wall

[Update: I just got off the phone with Michael, the store owner, and am very impressed. Apparently, there was miscommunication between the sales associate and me since Ace DOES take returns without receipts. They can look up past purchases in their system, and will provide store credit even if the receipt/purchase cannot be located. So Im updating my review (minus one star for the hassle).]I desperately want to support my local shops, Ace included. However, when you won’t take back merchandise without a receipt (that I just bought this week, from the same cashier, to boot), you’re making it difficult for me to patronize you. Please, friends, with HD and Amazon practically frictionless shopping, don’t make it difficult. Give me reasons to shop with you, NOT reasons to go elsewhere...

Every time I have walked into this Ace, I am greeted by name and helped out immediately. They always have what Im looking for and are always willing to go the extra step to order if needed. Store has great staff which also reflects well about the store manager and their expertise. I feel like a valued customer compared to the big box guys who you never can find help or answers.

Whenever I need tools or supplies for a quick fix at the restaurant, they take care of me.

More convenient than home depot when you just need to get a quick part. Selection is more or less ok, but just has the basics. Prices are a little higher on most things but generally reasonable. Staff is always very helpful.

I came in with a very specific problem: I needed a small drill bit that was completely flat with no point or bevel. The staff at Ace were very creative, using a grinder to flatten the normal drill bits they sell. Incredibly helpful!

I have been to Ace Hardware a few times! I am always pleased with the service and with the knowledge the employees have - and share! However, I always stop to look and to search through their vast display of plants! WOW!!!! I found a most beautiful large Collius plant, full of babies sprouting away, and showing very healthy growth too! I am very happy with it. I added my Miracle Gro plant food and water the day I purchased it. I have left it alone since then and will check the dirt for dampness later today. My final words on Ace Hardware is for you to simply just GO THERE!!! You most likely will find something you need and/or want, as they are well stocked! A very pleasant environment too! The best local hardware in Buckhead. Went there today looking for a very specialized screw that cost $0.22. The Manager spent 30 minutes creating a new thread in an electrical plate so a standard screw would fit. You would never find this in a big box. We are customers for life. Just the best for all th8ngs hardware.

The manager with red hair was infuriated when I decided to return the melted KitKat candy bar that I bought and opened on the spot while signing in the purchase. Well, melted candy bar priced at $1.59 is not worth it! Upon looking at my receipt later, I realized with a total of 3 items I bought. They returned the receipt for only the candy bar but not 2 other items. So when a week has passed. I was not able to return the pipes that didnt fit my toilet. Not cool. Staff display the poorest customer service relations.

Prices here are very high on many items. I was quoted $40 for a bag of charcoal. If you come here just know youre paying for the location.
