Alright, for those who are looking for Breakfast and want something fast and tasty this is the place! I’ve come to AC for years and vividly remember always walking past this diner but not today. We walking right in and fell in love.... You get what you pay for good food and great service. A true hole in the wall gem 👌🏽

Not recommend this place at all.Not idea how this place get a 4 starts reviews on Google. Food was just fine, and the customer service is the worse. Theres no customer service at all at this place, so be awared and prepared if you are planning to go here.Plus, If u want to order drinks here, make sure tell them what size you want because the server here will not ask you what size do the customer wants. Instead, they decided for you and gave you the large size, which cost you more money.Most importantly, they wrote whatever price they wanted to charge you on the check. Our original Bill was about $73, but they crossed out the original price and wrote a new amount on the bottom line, which it was around $90. They added over 20% of tips on the check automatically without providing any customer service? Probably thats the reason why they dont care about whether they are providing customer service or not?

Dont expect luxury at this true hole-in-the-wall on the boardwalk, but youll get an authentic local breakfast, which is hard to come by amid the ocean of chain restaurants that dominate the area.Its all paper plates at this joint, served over cartoon placemats, depicting 3,000 years of Greek glory. I got a kick out of the thought that Dukakis and Tsongas produced this breakfast splendor, while devourong my Belgium waffles and scrambled eggs and listening to the candid banter between the cook and waiter, who can be heard from every corner of the diner.Note: For best service, get there before 10 am.

The food was good and the portions were big. My problem came with the bill. The original bill said it was 50.11 then in pen it was crossed out and said 64.75. We were a single family ordered two meals. We asked and were told they added the 15% gratuity already. Well it was not posted this would be done nor were we told it would be before hand. We would not have had an issue with that if it wasn’t for the fact that the service was not that great and $14+ is 30% of our bill. We would have probably10.89 to make it an even $60 and give a decent tip but the fact they can’t tell the difference between 15 and 30 % and added to the bill without warning was a little shifty to me.

Worst customer service ever!! I didnt even dine in there I was ordering out. The waiter was nasty as soon as I was placing the order. I talked to the manager and he was no help. So I left. They dont deserve my hard earn money. Please go to another spot if you want a good meal and great customer service.

I had given this place 2 stars previously but that was last year and the place has been totally cleaned, painted, and appears brand new. I can recommend this restaurant now. Great service and the food was delicious.2020-10-20 I have been back several times since my last review 4 years ago but I can always count on good food and service from here. Had a very tasty breakfast this morning and the service was fantastic and fast. Very few places are open on the boardwalk with sit-down service. They have a boardwalk entrance and one inside the Atlantic Palace. This is a five star diner because of the consistently good food and cleanliness.

Good breakfast, cheerful staff, reasonably priced. The home fries especially were good, they were actually crispy in a few places which is a requirement for good home fries. Im from northern New Jersey where no one knows how to fry potatoes.This is a place youd eat if you were at home and could pick anywhere.

My Friend’s Diner is the place to go for a delicious breakfast and lunch on the boardwalk! The food was yummy, portions large, and the staff (shoutout to Sargis!) super welcoming. Don’t miss this gem the next time you’re in Atlantic City!

Staff was friendly and professional, they are short staff so they are doing about 4 people’s jobs per person that worked there. They definitely over worked, but they did an amazing job staying professional and getting everyone taken care of.

You can get a real American Breakfast, All Day long, they have grits also, but thats with the early breakfast, very nice service.

This place was soooo unprofessional. They make people write their own names on a list. And people would come in and put their name in spaces above other people. Therefore they were seated before others who were there first. Horrible. Horrible customer service everything about this place was just disgusting. But to each it’s own !

I had the breakfast. A egg fried hard with cheese on a bagel, also the french toast topped with fresh strawberries,bananas and whip cream.....Lawd !!!! It was amazing!! If you are looking for a reasonable priced and homemade breakfast...this is the spot !!

The BREAKFAST is so huge and delicious for such a reasonable price. Havent tried dinner yet but I will. Check my friend out!!!

We tried this place while staying at Atlantic Palace and was pleasantly surprised- great cheesesteak, good coffee, friendly staff, and my kids loved their chicken fingers.

Food is overpriced, kicked out a mother for disciplining her 2 kids in front of everybody. I put myself in her shoes and that wasn’t right, she was buying food for herself and kids. She was going to put money into the business.

We found this place by chance but the food and the staff are fantastic, so much that we had our meals there during our stay in Atlantic City. You have to taste their breakfast in order to believe it. Totally awesome.

Trying to eat in AC during this pandemic was a nightmare, breakfast is especially hard to come by regardless. Thankfully this diner came through with an amazing array of take out breakfast goods. They got every thing and cook with the quickness. Their Belgium waffle with FRESH strawberries and whip cream is the bomb. The bacon was cooked perfect and coffee slamming. My hubbys pancakes were delicious too. Thank you bc a B was hangry by the time she found this gem but you all came through.My only complaint ... and its minor, get some damn tables and chairs because the seagulls are a mess in Jersey.

Had dinner here yesterday....staying at the Fantasea Resort....ordered the crab cake sandwich...pic on menu shows lump crabmeat but actual sandwich looked nor taste like it was made with lump crabmeat. You could see the orange artificial crabmeat and it also had MUCH filler. Wasnt very good AT ALL. So much so that I couldnt finish it.Thought Id try breakfast so ordered pancakes with two eggs scrambled w/cheese. Called the order in and went to pick it up. Inside door was not accessible. Had to go outdoors and go through crowd to pick up order. The eggs were runny mixed in with pancakes on one order. However the eggs and the pancakes were really good! The pancakes were large, fluffy, and tasty!

Great spot for breakfast

Excellent food at good prices. The team there are happy to help you add what you like and subtract what you dont from your order. However, my bestie did say that the bathroom was disgusting and filthy and told me not to use it after she saw it. Perhaps the bathroom cleaner was off duty on a Saturday at noon. Once they get the bathroom squeaky clean I will give it five stars...I just dont know when or if I will be back in that area. :)

A nice inexpensive low end diner food experience. Styrofoam plates and cups. Quick service. And everything under $10. Portions were decent sizes. Greek omlette was great!

A real GEM on the Boardwalk located right near Ripley’s Believe It or Not... The service is great and the food (especially breakfast) is better than most of the food you will find in the hotels at a REAL AFFORDABLE price. My wife and I ALWAYS eat here when we are in AC. Came here after having a long night. Wanted some breakfast and found this spot. Servers are really nice, we came in sat right down, the food came out quick and the food was really great. It hit the spot and best of all the prices were pretty good.

Food was not good. My husband ordered pancakes and sausage and could not finish. They were mushy and the syrup was watered down. He said not taste. I ordered grits and bacon. It was served with some kind of butter spread that was not good. Also, the salt and pepper shakers stuck together. Worse meal of the trip.
