Garage door springs broke yesterday in the afternoon, called Doors West, which was highly recommended on NextDoor app for my area, and was told they can have a tech come out next day at 9am. Scott showed up, on time, and got right to work. He was fast and efficient, and the price is right. My door is so quiet, forgot how pleasant sounding it can be when its working properly. I will recommend these guys to everyone, thanks for doing such an awesome job.

Mark on the phone was patient & educated me on my garage door (Im sure hes done it a million times, but was nice). They were able to get to my commercial garage door for repairs within a couple days, showed up when they said, and it cost what they said. I inquired about a couple extra possible repairs I thought I may need on other doors, & Scott (the repair tech), gave me good advice and options, instead of doing something for extra cost just because I asked. Ive used them twice now.

This company was the second company we called. The lady who answered the phone was really pleasant. We got an appointment for two days hence. The guy who came out (Scott) was prompt, and he clearly knew what he was doing. He was fast, efficient, and he had a great sense of humor. :-)We had two torsion springs replaced, we had the sprocket that drives the chain replaced (something the first company we called said couldnt be done!), and we had the outdoor pad reprogrammed (and Scott showed us how to do that ourselves). Plus, Scott lubricated the doors hinges.Our garage door practically purrs now. Its much more quiet than it was before, it closes more tightly than it ever did, the light on the box works (Scott tightened the bulb LOL), and ....THE PRICE WAS LESS THAN HALF OF WHAT THE OTHER COMPANY HAD QUOTED! Seriously. Doors West charged $433, and the other guys wanted almost $900. The other guys said the sprocket couldnt be replaced, that theyd have to replace the whole opener, but Doors West said they replace those sprockets all the time because its a common part that wears out.I am very pleased with this company. It was a good experience from start to finish.

Mark was great to deal with. Got me done quickly and even did a temp repair when he found out the replacement door was gonna be a while. Which as it turned out he tracked one down and I didnt end up waiting at all really. James our installer did a spot on job as well. Perfect work and communication. Highly recommended.

I had a spring break on my door and called around to a number of places. Scott was able to come out less than 24 hours later and replace them for me. Pricing was very reasonable compared to some other shops and the job was done quickly/professionally. I am very pleased and would recommend them highly.

These guys are great. Just had two doors installed and asked them back later to install openers. They had the best prices and did excellent work and were really quick!

I stopped in the Auburn location to see if they could help me with a very old Lift-Master garage remote. Mark and Bryce I could see were very busy in the back but both of them dropped what they were doing to focus on me and solving my issue. I was more than pleasantly pleased when I walked out with a replacement old part and they didnt charge me a cent. Hired them due to the lowest quote given by the lady I spoke with on the phone Repair guy came in and cant give me an exact price after checking what is wrong. Proceeded with the repair and after finishing the job I am still clueless how much it would be until he gave me the invoice. Dissappointed because I should have hired the other company who can give me the same price with a longer warranty and customer support. Giving 2 stars for at least being on time. It would have been better if at least before starting the job after identifying the problem to give an exact price.

We were very pleased with the communication, price and installation. They went above and beyond to make sure our door was installed when we needed it by working on a Saturday. Very pleasant people to work with, answered all my questions and kept us up to date on delivery. Would definitely recommend.

I have worked with Doors West on several occasions. They do a great job whether the work you need is a new residential garage door, a spring replacement, or larger commercial door work. Travis is great to work with and they always seem to be able to fit you into their schedule. They are my go to for all garage work, fast and great technicians.

The team at Doors West did a great job on my new garage door. They were out quickly to quote a replacement, and the installation was done VERY professionally. Im am very detail oriented and seldom am happy with the work I pay people to do for me, but Doors West really did it right...the first time.

Enough has already been stated about Doors Wests efficiency and promptness, so Id like to endorse them for their integrity and ethics. Our 12 year-old LiftMaster garage opener suffered a broken chain gear & sprocket. I fully expected the Doors West technician to recommend a new opener, but thankfully he performed a repair at a fraction of the cost of a replacement. He also adjusted the limits of the opener so that it operates smoothly. What more could you ask for? These are the folks to call.

James did a wonderful job, was easy to work with and got the work done in a timely manner. Why Im not giving 5 stars comes down to 1 really consistent problem I found. Setting Expectations / consistent information.When first calling I was told by female responder (sorry Ive forgotten your name) that the coils that would be installed are 5,000 cycles. Average price is $250 for one torsion spring + Labor, or $300~ for both. Schedule for 4:30 on a Tuesday. 90 day labor, 1 year warranty. Okay I got it, you sold me, lets do it! (wrote all this down while on the phone with her)4:30 came along. no tech. Called Doors West and was told he was 15 min out and that they dont generally do visits at 4:30. Then why give me the option? Called at 5. offices are closed so I dont know when he will be showing up and hes 1/2 hour late. Mildly frustrated at the fact that I was not contacted that they where running behind schedule.James showed up at 5:15 +/- 5min. Gets the work done and tells me they only sell 10,000 cycle torsion springs or higher and that thats the standard. He also stated I have the option of bumping up to 28,000 cycle torsion springs for only 10-20$ more. Ended up being right at $300+/-. So they hit the price point expectation but not the timing.What I would recommend for them to be more successful. Contact the client 20-30min before the visit to set expectations of when the tech will actually show up. If afternoon visits dont work for your company then dont allow your customers to schedule them. Get the front desk and techs on the same page with what expected cycles you can provide so that the customer is hearing consistent information.Pricing is competitive, Tech is awesome, Front desk is respectful, responsive and kind. Just need to work out the bugs to really be amazing.

Scheduled convenient time for repair. Showed up on time. Very personable and polite. Replaced torsion spring at a reasonable price. No stress.

Our opener was giving us trouble and we were snowed in....not fun! When I called, they first gave us a couple things to try on our own to see if we could fix it easily. That alone was amazing.....not money-hungry, this place! Then, when it was clear that there was too much wrong to fix ourselves with a reset, they came out the same day we called. Because of the snow, the technician had to walk up our 100 ft, very steep and snowy driveway, back down for parts after diagnosis (faulty eye), and up again. No extra charges....just professional work and care for the customer. Also, they had parts for our old opener....didnt try to up-sell to a fancy new one. So glad we found them! Highly recommended.

I had a broken spring and decided to go with Doors West. Scott arrived promptly and started working on the spring. He finished that quickly and replaced the plastic wheels of the garage door that were falling apart with steel wheels. I figured that the wheels were going to be an up-sell. However, the final price was only $30 more than the estimate. And that was after tax! I definitely will be recommending them to my friends and using them in the future.

Our old garage door opener died, and we are SO glad we got our new one with Doors West. Scott, the technician, arrived exactly on time, and expertly and efficiently installed a new Liftmaster. It would be nice if ALL home repair jobs went this smoothly.

OVERPRICED - Called Doors West and was given the runaround and told that I would have to pay 4-times more if I need help on a Friday or Saturday. Frankly it appeared that the person answering the phone needs help when it comes to customer service. Call around you can get a better prices and services. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOORS WEST

Get a call late from my warehouse informing me that one of our roll up doors was inoperable and they didnt know what to do. When I arrived on scene the door was for sure not moving anywhere. I called the 24 hotline and got a hold of Mark. I briefed him on the situation and he immediately offered to send Scott out that night to take care of us. I didnt think our situation warranted a late night call so I asked for next day. Next morning Scott called to let me know he was on his way. 45 minutes after he arrived the door was fixed. I have used Doors West exclusively for the past 5 years and each time I call them for a damaged door they not only have a fair quote to offer, but they are quick to respond. I highly recommend that you use Doors West for your garage/roll up door needs. Be sure to ask for their Tech Scott, as his expertise is sure to get you taken care of in one visit. A BIG thanks to Travis and Mark! We had our garage door fail and it would not close. We contacted another company we had used in the past and were told we would have to wait two days just to get it looked at. We called Doors West and within 5 hours Mark came out and made a temporary repair so we could secure our home. Nobodys perfect but this was close, I would recommend this company to do work on your garage door or doors . They understand that everybody cant afford a new opener and they fixed my old one, and also no other company offered to do this
