If you have a choice, please use a different company. I have installed hundreds of these windows in new construction and the quality has went right in the toilet.

Waited seven months from time of filing a warranty claim to the time the windows were installed. Made several calls during those months with no response, even after promises that they would get back to me. No one showed up at first installation date and no one called. Had to file a complaint with the BBB before I got a response. After windows were finally installed, the trim work on one window came loose upon opening and wouldnt close after that. I was told I would have to file another warranty claim before it could be fixed! Had a local company fix the window rather than wait another seven months! Worst company I have ever dealt with!

People were actually able to get warranty work done? Thats shocking to me because I couldnt get a call back for 6 months and then the guy didnt show up while I waited for him for 4 hours - no phone call. They called back the next day and offered a saturday which I refused because I didnt want to lose more time in case they didnt show, and thats been weeks ago with nothing from them. The window is missing part of the assembly and cannot be opened. How it passed quality control I have no idea. Had the window been assembled properly it would be a good window. Had someone showed up and fixed it Id say they have a good warranty. I cant say that.

We purchased Plygem Windows through a third party installer. After not even 2 years the window became cracked - as if a pressure crack. I called and emailed and filled out the warranty claim. I went through all the steps required. They took WEEKS to get back to me and then they told me “you’re not covered for that. Here is your warranty to look over”. They didn’t offer to look further into it. They didn’t offer any apologies or anything kind. I called and left a message for a manager and didn’t hear back. So called again and spoke to warranty woman, Carrie. She said if I sent pictures to her directly she would see what she could do. She then offered me free single pane of glass replacement but I would have to find someone to install it. Fine. I emailed back and said yes and thank you. I haven’t heard back from her since - that was 2 weeks ago and I’ve reached out multiple times. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company. Their windows are not great, they don’t have a great warranty, and their communication/customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. We paid $1100 for one giant custom window and now have to pay $400 to replace part of it. I’m shocked a company like this exists.

Very Good People unloaded Quickly Just Tight Backing in docks

This companys driver was not trained in driving in tight places and tore up our grounds trying to make a turn in soft grassy rainy areas making deep ruts which will be expensive to repair. We left a message for the manager and emailed him but he never bothered to respond so I would not recommend them for anything.

I’ve been trying since May to get a response from Ply Gem on some window issues. They did go back-and-forth with me a little bit this fall and now they’ve dropped off the side of the earth again. It is so frustrating, I can’t even get a response to help me get parts or how to get the windows fixed. We’re in the winter now and I’ve had to put insulation and plastic over my windows to just survive. This company is terrible at supporting their products. Go elsewhere!

I dont normally give reviews, but Im making an exception. We had our all windows replaced just over 20 years ago. I recently noticed 1 large picture window and one small window had started to fog up between the 2 panes. The company that did the installation has not been in business for some time. I found the our paper work that stated we had a lifetime warrantee. I called up Insolate (now Ply Gem) and really thought they would try to point fingers at the installation or wiggle out of it somehow. I couldnt be more wrong, I just had to submit a form and that was it. We now have 2 new windows that didnt cost us a penny. Thats what I call standing behind your product.

Our home came with Plygem windows. Shame such a company exists. One window was scratched and another wasn’t installed properly. 4 months later, 4 appointments later and multiple emails/calls the problem was fixed-BUT not without a terrible tech who was rude to me and said I caused the window problem!!!!A year later we have another issue, a 1/4 inch gap in the frame vs window- tried calling them and goes straight to voicemail. Next step is to drive to their office and see if they exist.Avoid PLYGEM like the plague, Milgard is much better and has great customer service (we replaced cheap plygem windows w milgard and have no issues!).

Apparently, youre not allowed to eat if your hungry during the day unless its break time here.

Do no buy PlyGem windows. Horrible.

I used these windows in 2 custom homes i built in 2012 and they were adequate at that time. I used them again in 2018 and definitely regret the decision. Their quality has gone down. The sliders bind and do not shut properly. You have to force the window hard to shut it. Sliders are close to impossible to take out for cleaning. Various other tolerance issues....

Windows are failing and ply gem is refusing to warranty after just 1 year from install. Do not choose this company. As someone who works in the Industry I would recommend going to Anderson. Any of their competitors most likely are easier to work with and produce a better product.

They got me loaded very quickly even though they were unaware of me coming until I got there.

Well I work there lol... and its friendly place to work pay isnt so great. We start at 4am and off at 2pm.Work kills time pretty fast pace and heavy at my spot. Overall its kool place to work. Ya pay is down fall...

Phone service not good at all

A product can only be as good as the service. Ply gem service is terrible .I have broken window I need replaced and all I get is the runaround .One month later I still have a shattered glass window on the front of my house. My local glass installer is very frustrated with dealing with them also, so now I have to go through a 3rd party, the builder, which will cost me more. What a bunch of BS .I wish I had spent my $8k window package somewhere else .My architect was made aware and wont be suggesting ply gem windows in his designs in the future .

Ply Gem needs to ensure that they train their drivers to be good stewards of the communities that they serve. They have made a number of deliveries in Olalla Washington on Banner Road Southeast and ignore the weight restricted signs on this very fragile Road way. The community has contacted them in the past with no improvement total disregard for Public Safety on this narrow and fragile roadway. There are clearly marked at least four signs indicating a truck route for Banner Road Southeast everyhome is accessible from the north by using Orchard Avenue. Their drivers need to follow the signs not GPS. These signs are up there for a reason this roadway has had a number of slides and cannot endure overweight and oversized trucks.

I have been trying to resolve warranty issues since March 2018 and have experienced the worst customer service ever from the warranty service department to their management. Absolutely no follow-up or returned calls to try and fix the problem. I would never recommend this local company. Spoke with 5 different people, and a couple more than once, and not one has done anything but confirm my claim number.

Why cant you give 0 stars???? We have been trying to replace a failed slider for 6 months. These folks have been out to measure our window at least 3 times because they do not know how to measure an opening! I cannot imagine how these folks stay in business. Highly recommend choosing another company, even if it costs you more $$. Their warranty service is clearly worthless.

I have been trying for 5 months to get Ply Gem to replace some windows that are under warrantee. They have set up an appontment every month since September and have no showed 4 times without notifying me. When I’ve called them they say “we lost the template” or “the glass broke before it was loaded onto the truck in Auburn” or give no explanation at all. Today again they didn’t show up for an appointment they had made. No call, no explanation. It seems like they don’t honor their guarantees.

We bought PlyGem instead of Milgard for our new home - big mistake. I understand that when building a new home you are bound to have some window failures, the problem is that they dont fix them. Our last house had Milgard windows and we had a couple failures - Milguard service was exceptional - courteous, easy, timely. In contrast, weve been waiting FIVE MONTHS to get our master bedroom fixed. We have BLUE TAPE covering the gap because the window doesnt close all the way - in the middle of winter! This is just so completely unacceptable. I was supposed to get a call a month ago (again) to schedule the replacement. No call. I call today (again) only to be told that PlyGem has subcontracted the warranty to another company and they dont know the status. So now Im getting directly to ANOTHER company to deal with. UNBELIEVABLE. DONT BUY PLYGEM! The specs may be comparable between PlyGem and Milgard, but the service is NOT the same.UPDATE: It’s now going on 9 months and still our windows have not been replaced. We are on the 4th service tech I think. Excuses range from broken down cars, assistant didn’t make it back from the beach in time, lost your order (2x), no body at the warehouse to find your windows, car accident broke all your windows, lost your contact information... it’s endless.

Terrible service, window came broken, 11 months and no repair yet, no communication, window did not meet egress spec even though it was stated to. poorly built a half inch off from specs. Never calls back. Never do business with them.

One of the windows that we purchased had problems with the operating mechanism. We called ply gym for repair and they made arrangements to show up to fix it. However nobody ever bothered to show up. I would not buy anything from this company theyre totally unreliable as far as service .

I am on to my third warranty claim as the slides on the windows I have keep popping out of the tracks. Every time I speak with customer service they sound like they have been yelled at by customers all day. I sent in my claim for and a month later they tell me they didnt receive anything. Oh and if you call them and wait on hold when the system tries to connect you it disconnects and hangs up on you.
