Weeks after they came to do a site survey for a fence and three phone calls to inquire as to the progress of the estimate. I have come to realize they either forgot about me or just dont care. I was expecting more based on their reviews.
Very good at their job, very clean, and had the job done on time
Western Pacific Fence was hired by my builder to put the fencing up in our entire neighborhood. My neighbors fence is coming down and the neighbor next to him has the same problem. Now I have a loose post that needs to be replaced. Called Western Pacific Fence. They do not stand behind their work. Set up a repair appointment which turned into an estimate and contract signing. Called other professionals who gladly did the work for reasonable price and told me it was not done correctly to begin with or they would not have to be doing this now. Find another company who stands behind their work and cares.
Its been over a month since asking for the this fencing company to fix the few problems when they installed the fence. I was told that this information would be relayed to the managers. I have not received an email back nor has anybody come out to fix it. Like another reviewer said Find another company who stands behind their work and cares.
Edit: Out of the blue (almost two weeks later), I received a call asking for my email address to send the proposal. I like to give credit where it is due. I see WPF has done several jobs in my neighborhood. The finished product is done well and the bid is competitive... but still am underwhelmed by the communication. I will give the benefit of a doubt and up my stars.Lengthy, but read if you want to understand the poor customer service you may receive. I asked WPF to come out to bid for completing a fence on my new construction home after seeing that WPF had done a couple of other jobs within my neighborhood. They were not able to come out for two weeks for the bid, and as I was not in a huge hurry, I figured that would be ok. In the meantime, I was able to obtain two more bids for the fence. I still wanted to get the third bid, so I put off a decision awaiting this bid. A couple days before, I get a call from the office saying Kevin will be here at 2PM. Knowing that 2PM would not work for me, I asked if Kevin could make it at 3PM or perhaps we could just converse over the phone. My fence requirements are set by the HOA so it’s pretty easy. Plus I had matching measurements from 2 quotes. The office said she would confirm if Kevin can do that, but knew he wouldn’t want to just chat. No big deal. I hear nothing and fast forward to appointment day. I get a call (that I missed) from Kevin at 1:45 stating that he can’t make the appointment at 3 due to another appointment and he will be there at 2. I didn’t see the call until 2:15 and called him back. When we connected he had left the site but got measurements. We talked about them and they weren’t matching my other bids and I figured out he went to the house 1 street over. He seemed understandably frustrated and at that point didn’t care to listen or work this out. I told him I knew we were only two linear feet off and if he wanted to just draw up a quote he would likely earn my business. Instead, he just said he would have to come back out and “didn’t know when he would be back to Everett.” It’s been a month and no quote, no contact. This experience with Kevin is the opposite of so many reviews, but it’s enough for me to write a “proceed with caution” review. My other two fence contractors were pricey, but on top of the customer service.
Good quality
