I liked this place but not the 2$ fee per person but its bss . They have their cars very well organized many cars ranging from 2000s and up very little 90s . I also liked that they have little wagons where you can put your tool/parts so you dont got to carry all of that stuff around. Also there is some decent spacing in the cars and there lifted which makes it easier to pull something out
They allow you to enter for a $2 fee and the prices are very reasonable. I find that they have a good variety of auto parts for you to choose from. I day check them out and try
Glad they are in the area. Usually always have what I need.
Fair prices and great staff.
Good place to find parts you have to do some walking find the vehicle for your parts then take them off
Cant wait to come back and buy more parts.
Small place!! all the car’s is mixed not like other places where they have separate from imports car to domestic cars
Friendly staff dirty place but you will find everything you need for your car.
They Charge You admision Fee Even You ask them for specific car they dont have, let You in to collect You money is unfear bussiness.
They dont keep list of cars on the lot. If you want to check for car you need you will have to pay to enter lot, no exceptions . 2$ not a lot but to drive there and waste time not worth the effort
$2 fee is a VERY bad idea. Im sure theyre losing A LOT of customers simply because of this bogus fee, just to look and see if they even have the part youre looking for.Selection is POOR.Their cars sit there for months and months, so turn around for new inventory is LOW. Yard is NOT well kept, and its DANGEROUS...there are parts thrown in the aisles that sit there for weeks until a row is changed over...nobody cleans up the rows in between change-overs. In my 50 years, Ive been to many junk yards, and this one is at the bottom of my Must-look list of junkyards.
Good placeGood serviceThank you
A couple bucks to go look. No way of knowing if they have a model you need on the lot unless you go look for yourself. I asked. I looked....They didnt. Wasted my time.
Amazing great customer service
Had to pay $2 to get in lot to find nothing i was there for
Tired of going there and finding the good things needed gone, and dealing g with argumentative staff in front,if they like to fight join the Army!!!
Really aint much here. Yoy gotta pay a fee to get in and they make up prices just like any just yard but they do it customer by customer. You are much better off going to Joliet u pull it. Much better selection and much better prices. Plus thdy have a bunch of 90s chevy trucks
Very helpful people, I love it.... plenty of cars and well organized
I rarely go here because you have to pay admission and they usually dont have what Im looking for.
Difficult to find specific vehicles.
Great tacos
I dont mind this junkyard, yeah you have to walk around and bring your tools find the particular car or cars you want to strip but its not bad. Be prepared to get dirty.
Found what I needed. Fair price and great customer service
Almost always has what I need at a decent price.
Easy to find what youre looking for because its organized
They are pretty well organized and the place is very clean. They ask for 2 dollars just to enter. After checking out several cars that were like mine I finally got out the part I needed. They then asked me almost the same price I paid for a new part online. I didnt even know if that part worked or not. I do not think I will be going back to this junkyard.
I had never experienced a salvage yard like this before, but found it to be a good experience after I figured out the process. Basically you pay $2 to gain access to the yard. You can go find the years/models you are interested in and then remove parts you want with your own tools. You take all your parts in and check out. Some major parts prices are posted. You can bargain with them when purchasing many parts at one time. I was able to find a truck one year different from mine and salvage many extra parts from it. I saved hundreds of dollars compared to shopping for used and reproduction parts online.
💪
The place charged $2 dollars to enter and explore. They charged me an additional $12 dollars for the part I needed. It was okay because a new part would be around $35 dollars and I would have to wait to be delivered and everything. The place has all the kinds of cars and parts, just make sure to bring your own tools for parts removal, and also ask the price before start to pick up parts( I believe they will charger more if you dont ask before).
Great stuff pluas great prices 👍👍
Great place should I be have been going there
Women friendly junkyard! I never have a problem.
Great prices, fun to walk around and look at all the cars. Cars are relatively well organized, SUVs in one area, imports in another, gm, Ford, Chrysler cars each have a section which makes it easier to determine if they have the vehicle part you are looking for. Open 7 days a week
They know their cars.Best service ever man let me tell you. They are so helpful just ask year make n model and they should have it.
Good prices and good service
Got exactly what I needed! I needed the part that day, and it worked out perfectly. Im going back for a new trunk. I assume itll be as affordable. Dont complain about about used auto parts. Jerks
Great staff! Found a mirror for my car. Reasonable prices!
Its a junk yard!!!! You dont go there for conversations. Although the conversation i had with the dude was pleasant. Had plenty of vans i needed to pick thru. Found the exact part i needed and got it cheap! Works perfect and if it didnt i had 30 days to go get another! I will be coming back!
I dont get why this place isnt reviewed better. Its a lot of cars, you go there, get what you need, pay the cashier and leave. What could go wrong with that? Further more they always have a good variety of vehicles, the staff is friendly, they have some of the best prices around, they offer warranties, and one time when I couldnt get something off they oxy cut it for me while I waited.
If you want to save some money take a chance and pay 2 bucks and try to find it here first, the guys here have always been helpful to me if i needed cars moved and they have knocked a few bucks off here and there when i felt things were overpriced. Dont call here and expect them to hunt down parts for you, thats not how u-pick parts places work
Its a nice junkyard, you pay to enter and you have to bring your own tool in and take out the part yourself, then when you bring the part you want they charge you on exit for it.
Ok
If you don’t speak Spanish don’t bother getting any help. Went to five vehicles looking for items that were supposed to still be on the cars and no luck. Two guys were throwing parts over the fence to steal later. Not sure how they get by from the Environmental Protection Agency because there was certainly massive amounts of oils and lubricants seeping into the ground. I can only imagine what the water table holds from their negligence. Next time I’ll pay a tad more and go to City Auto Wreckers.
Needed an alternator in a hurry that nobody had in stock. These guys had it, I pulled it, paid and left. Its a junk yard, thats how it works. If you want pleasant conversation or a complete inventory of parts, go to one of the 20 or so big box auto parts store within a few miles of here.
They have no real system set up for pricing... that they actually use. They give you a price off the top od their head. It will depend on who you ask too. Either they have no idea what they are doing or they just dont care.
Great junkyard. parts we pulled didnt fit my car.
Decent parts in the lot! But need better customer service
Dont waste your time with these aholes..the little b word in the front that thinks he own the f#%$& place. Took 25 dollars off a car I was selling because I removed the 125 dollar battery that was in it.. we had a deal before I even took the car.. its not just white or black its if your not in their circle of friends .. am Mexican..
I bought the tools I needed, paid the $2 entry charge and got the part I wanted. Saved $
Didnt really have what we where looking for
Friendly staff, good selection and fair prices. I have probably been here no less than 50 times, and rarely disappointed
The place is very similar to other you pull its. The difference is the customer service. The customer service at this Aurora Auto Parts is terrible. As the other reviews said the people are not interested in helping you. They also do not have an inventory, which in my opinion is ridiculous and the fault is management. They should have a method of keeping track of which vehicles come in and out. If they started keeping an inventory i would give them a better review but the customer service sucks.
Staff is friendly and helpful (loaned me a torx set that I didnt think to bring, so a lifesaver) prices are printed on a huge poster on the wall, so you know just what to expect, and the prices looked reasonable to me. I needed a specific part, a roof rack cross-bar, and the quote when I went in was $12, and without hesitation a different guy who checked me out at the end said $12, so I appreciated that the pricing was consistent. Good deal as well since it would have been $50 for universal replacement part from a local parts store, or $150 for OEM. I highly recommend this place. They have an inventory list of make/model/year, so call ahead to check they have the make/model/year you are looking for: I knew my part from OEM online search was for 2008-2011 Chrysler Town & Country and they confirmed that they had one, so I was only taking the chance that it had a roof rack installed from the factory. This is a self-serve you-pull salvage yard, so like several salvage yards that I called, theyre brief on the phone because you need to go there to look for your part in their yar. I got some smiles every step of the way once there.Additional details:- The entire salvage yard is gravel-based, well organized in aisles & picked up- All the cars are on sets of sturdy three foot blocks made of welded wheels so you can get under them as needed.- Every car has an inventory number marked on the fenders that ends with a two-digit year the car was made, so that was helpful.I sure wish though they would take a few minutes to make a map of those cars, because it we took more time finding a 2009 Chrysler than getting the part off of it that we needed.Fortunately they are confident about their inventory list, so when I came back inside for that torx driver, and mentioned I might try the roof crossbar on my car that I found on an 06 van, they were sure (and were right) that there was an 09 on the lot and remembered that another customer just left from with a white side mirror. We searched again, found that 09 on the lot, and happily left with our purchase.I really like that they explained the part could be returned, and since we were leaving at the end of the day wed just need to pay the $2 entrance fee to look for another part -- informative, makes sense, and fair!
I found most parts I needed and the price is reasonable to the new ones
Good amount of parts. vehicles change out frequently. i go about once a month just to wander. prices arent the best but cheaper than new
They charge you to go into the lot. Cost me $4.00 to see if there was a tire for my car. I asked them if they had any and was told we do not keep track of the inventory out there. Well we paid and as soon as we got in we noticed that all the cars have the tires off. Screwed me out of $4.00 and there was little amount of cars there. The City auto junk yard was much nicer and they also charge to look in the lot but at least they have cars.
Always friendly always fair
Good place. If you have the tools and know your parts you can get them here. 2$ entry thi regardless you find your part or no
Good place to buy used parts.
I have been going here for a VERY long time. This place and the people here are AWESOME!!! I Have NO idea why people are leaving bad reviews!!! With the inventory they have HOW in the HELL do you expect them to keep track of every SINGLE item that they have??? Are you NUTS???? If you are looking for special treatment, stay at home and have your momma wipe your nose for you, or better yet, get off your LAZY ASS and go look for yourself!!!
Very nice will definitely be coming back...
Great selection to choose from Constantly changing inventory $2 / entry
2 dollar entrance fee. Take your own tools. They keep no inventory of cars or parts that are in the yard.
Walk in and pick a part.
Junk yard. Vehicles arranged nicely. Easy accessible. $2 entrance to the yard.
AWESOME GUYS! nice and had what i wanted for dirt cheap
Very clean place and nice stuff. Highly recommend, I did find what I was looking for.
I live in Aurora so this place is close to me, but there is no point for anyone to call them, they do not know what is on their lot. Hispanic guys in lobby dont give a damn either. 2 bucks CASH ONLY to get in, non-refundable. Big selection of cars, vast majority 2005 and older. if this place is a drive for you, then it will be a gamble that either you find what youre looking for, or you wasted time coming out in the first place. They price by giving your item a glance lol. Only time i was able to get a price down on something was the time i came in with my Mexican friend. They have a hand washing station, and oem radios in the lobby. also sell used tires and wheels.
Excellent opportunity to get the parts you need at fair prices.
Most of the time they have wat u need and for good prices
Horrible experience. Asked before paying $4 to enter whether or not they had a 4runner. Yeah we have them in the middle. Walked around for over 30 min and surprise no 4runner no return on entrance fee. He just walked away from me. Is $4 worth loosing a customer.
Friendly staff, good price
These people are a joke !!! No one is interested in helping you with anything. The people who work there have the worst attitude, and they are always rite-NOT.They will swear at you if you question anything ! Not Very Professional at all.worst experience ever.
RudePrices are higher on some things than new. they said ol you will have to wait for shippinglucky if they have what you want if not u payed your 2 bucks and time looking for nothingwont go back there again
Parts parts n more parts could be lower prices tho
If these was me I give it 5 stars all day long
There so many cars that can’t even count
I get a good parts for the yard and cheap thanks U pull it
I went in today to see if i could find a shift knob for my manual 2008 mazda mx 5 miata. 99.9 percent of cars were all automatic, and if it was a manual, the shift knob was not there. I paid 2$ to get into the place, make sure you bring cash, they only take cash for admission.I found one knob, and i wasnt sure if it would fit, but i would buy it anyways. When i walked up to the counter, the guy said just take it, yeahHe did not charge me anything to take the shift knob, i thought it would be like 5 bucks or something.Definitely recommend this place, check it out, they have soooo many cars.
This place is a joke, I called for parts for my nissan and the guy said.. no nissan . Seems like this people dont even want to bother looking at their inventory thats how lazy they are
Dont bother asking if they have a particular part. They just say, come in and see. Prompt courteous service. NOT!
HORRIBLE. I cannot believe this place is still open. No customer service, extremely rude staff. I will throw a party on the day this place closes.
Bad decision to go there, do not waste your time
Change your hours on the website!
This Place rocks go che k it out.
Descent size yard but really cramped And everything is pretty picked over
Got my part no problem
Only called: hesitant about getting used parts... the person who answered the phone said that they dont keep track of what they have...
I had a part in my tool box that belonged to me that had the receipt it was still in the packaging and so i left and as i was leaving i did the routine check and the guy who checked my bag took part that was mine and i had a receipt to it so now my $120 part is no longer mine thats just dumb
Not good.
Pull your own parts save money
It was alright, theres a $2 entrance fee for everyone, and they have like as single Lexus car, and zero Miatas, which were the 2 we were looking for
Called and non english speaking person attempted to tell me he has no clue what cars he has on his lot. Joke.
I like this place. I being a costumer sice 2005 and cant complain about used parts. The prices are reasonables.
Best costomer service
