Great experience. Had a Landry list of issues. Tim Sullivan and his tram went through the vehicle methodically, calling out the ones that needed to be addressed and making recommendation for critical services and maintenance. Lots of dealers should take a lesson from how they do it C.A.R. Wish I found them fifteen years ago.

Very friendly and honest people. I asked how much an oil change was and the price he told me was the exact price i paid down to the penny. Most places I have went the Price I ended up paying was around 5 or 10 dollars more than they had originally said.

Needed shocks and sway bar links replaced on my 02 Camry. Made an appointment and the service exceeded my expectations. They were able to fix what needed to be done and some some extra things that came up along the way. I felt very informed about the situation. They even helped me get to enterprise so I could rent a car for the day.The price was good and fair. The work done was excellent and I will continue to go here for further services. I was a previous Firestone customer and after having the car checked out TWICE they gave me false information on what needed to be fixed because they did not look into it hard enough. The group at Comprehensive Auto Repair are Honest people doing excellent work!

Took several cars to Tim. (Acura, BMW and an old Volvo) He has always been exceptionally honest, competent, and provides great customer service. I saw a review which mentioned a significant discrepancy between quoted estimate and final repair bill - in all my instances of taking cars over C.A.R. I personally havent experienced this issue. I could not select anything lower than Poor-Fair however, POOR would be most accurate. Not only was I personally lied to regarding the estimate I was given, but then the owner had the actual nerve of saying that I was dishonest. The response to these unsatisfied customers is calling these reviews fake. The only thing that is fake is that this establishment claims to be professional and do quality work. Comprehensive Auto Repairs response to not honoring a stated quote is to offer more service for free. My personal experience was very upsetting. The work performed on my vehicle was sub-par and by far the worst Ive ever experienced and I have owned a car for almost 30 years. The location by the train is ideal, so I really wanted this to work out. I understand that sometimes these things happen. However, there is a right way and a wrong way to handle it. In my opinion, Comp Auto seriously failed in this department. I have reported this establishment to the BBB and would recommend you steer clear of this place.

Tim has always been very thorough sharing what they are seeing as the problem with our vehicles. Tim and the guys helped with a repair requiring some thought since the part was not readily available and I was working on a tight budget. The modified repair did the trick and has worked out great! Highly recommended. I was there for a 2nd repair recently and Tim was fair and honest, his quote was inline and the work was very timely. Tim will also take the time to explain any options you have if you are working on a budget.I just had an unexpected clutch replacement...not only did Tim do a great job, he kept his word on price even though I suspect it cut away from his bottom line.....A very honest mechanic. If I could go higher than 5 stars I would. Back in the day I use to work on my own cars and I also have two brothers that work on cars (but unfortunately not SAABs like I own!) and as someone that knows what it takes to repair a vehicle and keep it in good shape, I can say Tim is top notch. Anyone telling you otherwise hasnt a clue as to what goes into repairing a vehicle. Highly Recommended!
