Speedyroo has serviced my 07 Impreza for 3 years, everything from head gasket replacement to oil changes. They are honest and upfront about all repairs, what is needed urgently and what can wait. They always work me into their schedule when needed, and the car is always ready when promised. I recently brought my Tacoma in as well and had the same amazing experience. I love this shop and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I love bringing my Subaru to Speedy Roo! Justin and Dave have always been super welcoming when I arrive for appointments. In addition, calling to make appointments for any service is so easy and they have even been able to squeeze me in same day for an oil change!HIGHLY recommend!! They take great care of my Subaru STi and are up front with pricing and answering any of my questions.
My 2012 Rav4 alternator had a whining & burning smell. Stopped by Speedy Roo at around 1pm. The guys ordered a new alternator and installed it that afternoon. I was home by dinner time. They did a great job and I was impressed with the great customer service. Speedy Roo will now have my future business.
Always get great service and great value from these guys.
This is going to be a long but detailed review. My experience was truly amazing. So I have a 2008 Subaru STI that blew the motor due to a oil pump failure. They quoted me the best price for a good IAG engine and got everything set up well. Don’t get me wrong there was a couple of ups and downs. One being the wait time on the engine but that wasn’t their fault but rather the distributor. The other being a oil change and leaving the drain plug loose. Besides that, there was no problems at all. For being as busy as they are, they performed very well. I also got me car in for a dyno tune after I installed all the parts I wanted on the car, and they were able to not only tell me that there were still some problems, but went above and beyond by showing me exactly where everything that went wrong was. That is something that I really appreciated, because other shops will tell you that something is broken without actually showing you, so you just have to take their word. Now to some people the shop hours are a bit pricey (130$ I think), but I believe the price is well earned. They are professional, own up to mistakes, know what they are doing, and great customer service. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and would recommend people to come here for performance or even regular maintenance.
Work has always been very professionly done. Front desk friendly and eager to assist. I have only good things to say ( other then I wish they had more parking). Special thanks to Justin...always serves above and beyond.
Very knowledgeable folks here. Friendly and they do what they say for the price they quote.
Speedy Roo is a wonderful business. The guys at the front are really nice and knowledgeable. The guys in the back are great at what they do. There have been several times when Ive been waiting on my car and the mechanics in the back come to the front and bring something wrong to the attention of the guys in front to relay that information to the customer. Plus they have better stuff thats cheaper than the dealerships.
This shop found a novel way to fix a computer problem in my 07 Forester for less than half the cost quoted by several others! They also managed to fix my brakes (first try) after 3 other shops had failed. Fast, friendly and expert service. You may find cheaper, but you wont find better.
Very knowledgeable and kind. Always go here for you Subaru
These guys are some of the best in the business, brought my Subaru here for a tuneup, I was in and out super quick. And super affordable, definitely recommend these guys.
Very knowledgeable and helpful, even with my Hondas.
These guys are great. Very affordable. Fast. And had a loaner vehicle.
The staff is friendly and efficient. Doing the best they can to adapt during COVID times. Would appreciate for the safety and health of the customers and staff having signs posted on the door and inside business asking everyone to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
Not only did they tune my wifes 2016 BRZ twice, we brought her car back and they had it for the whole day to diagnose an issue and didnt charge us. HIGHLY recommended, great guys that do great work and are great to talk to about cars. Im going to single out Justin that kept answering our calls and questions, thanks!
These guys are amazing! Subaru Dealership was going to charge me over $600 to change front brakes after and 2 weeks of playing phone tag and getting no where. Called these guys and I made an appt easy and fast and got it done in 1 day and $300 cheaper! Highly recommended and will be bringing my other vehicles here.
I was extremely happy with my experience and the service that I received at Speedy Roo. They make it apparent that they are not money hungry and just trying to find an extra part to replace. Very honest and reputable. I’d highly recommend going here - you’ll be in good hands.
Friendly realizable service
These guys are great. Very helpful and honest. Dave is first class. Thanks
I always take my WRX here! The techs are great at explaining what needs to be done. They are a little higher for price then your run of the mill mechanic, but they are truly specialists and I dont trust any other mechanics with my car.
Always happy with the service they are fast and dont do unnecessary costly repairs they just recommend what is needed and I appreciate that.
Great place to get ur car worked on at a great price
I took my ‘04 STI in last year and brought it in once for some maintenance. After that I brought it in again because the check engine light came on. I took it in running and ended up towing my car home because it was no longer running at all. The repair was 2000$ of course I didn’t bring it back. They said the pin came of my clutch system and come to find out the pin was still in place. As a woman coming in alone, they took advantage of the fact I didn’t know what was going on. My mechanic said whoever messed with it didn’t handle it with care. What a waste of time and money! Never going back again! PLUS the car had the original clutch from the beginning after all... so it was not the previous owner. The person who sold it to me lied and said it was new clutch.. it was the original!
I had contacted Speedy Roos due to another mechanics suggestion when I thought my turbo went out on my WRX, so I made an appointment which was a week away, during that time other things started happening and codes started popping up, during this whole week I swear I had to be annoying Justin. Finally I got my car in and was treated with courtesy and respect. Justin was attentive to my needs and listened to what I was saying, unlike many other mechanics these days. By the middle of the day Justins team had figured out what was wrong with my ride, and after they contacted me for the Go Ahead, they promptly had my ride up and running again. I was then able to set a follow up appointment for the following week for a little tweeking. These guys are awesome, I wont have anyone else to the mods now, this is definitely the place to go.
The person I lent my car to hit a rock and the CVT transmission pan was leaking profusely . Dealer wanted $700 to fix. I called Speedy Roo and had it done in two days for under $300. Will go back for my next repair.
I own 2 Outbacks and used to service them at the dealership. However, since I discovered Speedy Roo, I will never go back to the dealership unless it is for warranty work or something only the dealer can handle. Speedy Roo is highly reliable and their charges are quite reasonable. They even jumped my dead battery at a nearby grocery store and refused any payment.
Professional, helpful, and very reasonable.
Speedy Roo was an excellent shop to take my STI to I highly recommend them. They get your car in and get right to work no fuss whatsoever they also spotted things that other places missed I will definitely be going back :-)
This shop is amazing! Always great to work with the guys here and get things done correctly, the first time! Not many shops will take the time to really help every customer and give them the best service like SRM does! Thanks guys!
Dave and the staff really know their stuff. We called and asked about one issue we had getting our headlamps adjusted properly. Dave knew exactly what the issue was, quoted us a price and got the vehicle in the next day. What a relief this was since NO ONE else, not even the Subaru dealers service department knew how to fix it. While there we asked some questions about other concerns and Dave told us about a recall on our Legacy. His knowledge of Subaru vehicles, and whats going on in the Suby world saved us thousands of dollars in costly engine repairs. We will definitely be going back here and will recommend Speedy Roo to our family and friends.
Fast turnaround for a lot of work. Prices seem very reasonable. I was upset to have such a large repair bill,(for a lot of work), but after turning the ignition, letting out the cultch, and ripping around some corners... Wow, the old subie never felt so good! Maybe it is a good idea to keep this old subie running?
This place is great. Perfect service, attentiveness, and hospitality. Ill definitely be going here for my service from now on
Great honest Mechanics know Subarus very well
The shop is absolutely great and they take care of their customers! I have never been more satisfied. No matter what the problem is they have the knowledge to diagnose the issue and they will get it fixed! I highly recommend this shop for all of your Subaru needs!
Came here in a time of need not even for something they have listed on their site and they still had what I needed in 5 minutes. A import shop helping domestics, thank god for subarus
I have been going here for years and always love the work they do. Honest and helpful. Great doing business with Dave.
Dave, Jim and the boys are Speedy Roo are the best. They were able to fix my fuel pump after a failure on the same afternoon!!! I bought my Outback from their and they have been super helpful every step of the way. If you have a problem with a Subaru, call them and let them help you out. I am a loyal customer for life!
Good prices. Great customer service. Straight forward.
I have 215k on my 2012 Legacy doing uber/lyft and Speedy Roo has done about %95 of the work on it. I try to stay ahead of repairs by being diligent and asking questions when I do go in for service. My experience has generally been fast and reliable service from Speedy Roo. Thanks.
I really wanted to like this place. I had an oil change done here and the shop was amazing enough to pick me up and drop me off as needed to/from work. I loved the service and level of communication i received. I would have given them 5 stars if it was not for that. I waited to write this review until i went to change my oil after having them do it; I am grossly disappointed. I know for a fact not one of my skid plate bolts were stripped or damaged and now my skid plate cant be correctly installed because the bolts are broken off and/or missing now. I broke off my oil filter housing cap when trying to remove it because I had to use a 4 foot breaker bar to get it loose and its now cracked from the stress. I went in for a simple oil change and now im out hundreds of dollars in repairs from here. I am also extremely disappointed in the fact I recommended so many people here in car clubs to get services done because of the friendly service. I spent 70 dollars on an oil change for my 2013 GX460 and now im out 650 dollars in repairs to have threads tapped, bolts replaced, oil filter housing replaced, and skid plate replaced as it fell off. Sorry guys you dropped the ball and have lost my business and everyone I recommended to your shops business.
Always get good service from these guys. My 06 lexus is still ticking because these guys do so well in notifying me about appointments and upkeep.
My adventure isnt over yet, but so far out of 3 different performance shops Ive dealt with, Id say these guys got a great set up going on. Was referred to by a friend that had a bunch of $$ put into his Sti and nothing but good remarks about these guys. So far, so good!!!!
Dave & his staff are great to work with. We work together quite frequently and his staff are always ready to help and answer questions when needed. Great service provided any time we have ever taken our stuff over there. We personally own Subarus and have never felt as if their work is anything but genuine. We would recommend anyone who comes through our doors to Speedy Roo.
Super amazing place and amazing staff there. They were able to work on a part some shops refused to work on and some tried overcharging. They completed all work exceptionally quick and beat all pricing by a significant amount. Wont take my car anywhere else now!
My only complaint about this place is that the hours are not long enough. I dont think Ill be able to have my car done here anymore since I recently moved away from the immediate area and cant get my car in when the shop is so far and isnt open very late. I dont really blame them though, because it is a small business and the owner seems to be there the entire time the store is open. They have also gotten even more popular in the 10+ years I have been a customer to the point where Im surprised they havent moved to a bigger location.I have purchased one Subaru from the owner and another with his assistance, and have relied on Speedy Roo to help me take care of both my cars. I have found them patient, helpful, and not at all pushy or apocalyptic when I need to postpone maintenance or repairs because of money. They are understanding and have always offered me honest advice about what I can wait to have done and whats really urgent. This place is not cheap but theyre local, they know what theyre doing, and have earned my trust several times over.
I trust Dave and everyone at Speedy Roo to take care of my car at a fair price and only provide me with the services my car needs. They always go above and beyond to make sure Im taken care of. I never hesitate to refer friends and family to them - everyone would be in great hands!
We’ve taken our Subaru here for a few years. Good prices and honest & reliable work. You never get the feeling they’re trying to upsell or do unnecessary repairs.
I got an oil change for a great price and really appreciated their detailed inspection. My dealership said my suspension bushings were bad, SpeedyRoo checked it and there was not a thing wrong with my suspension. Go to them for honest and reasonable service.
Honest and fair. The people who work at Speedy Roo Motorsports have great customer service, are informative, and really try to keep their return customers happy. Jeremy and the crew at Speedy are the best.
Dave and his crew are always polite, prompt, and thorough. The explain things and are completely trustworthy! We have great success with Speedy Roo and will continue to take our familys vehicles there as needed!
I had my 2016 WRX tuned by Tim today and I am more than pleased with the work and customer service by Tim and Jim! Tim knows how to tune and explains everything he is doing! I got two maps done and made some awesome power! I highly recommend them!
Great knowledge, customer service! Excellent communication at every step. Would definitely recommend!
Had a nasty noise coming from my vehicle and these guys literally told me to just bring it in that day (couldnt make it in till the next day) and not only that but gave me a better deal than any other shop offered me just to diagnose a sound.. and after they completed their service Justin went out of his way to make sure I had every bit of info I needed walking out the door to find some new parts for my subaru.. best shop Ive dealt with and I gotta mention that I love an hour away! Well done Justin
Excellent service, always find the problem and fix at a reasonable price
Took my car in to diagnose an oil leak on my 2013 WRX hatchback. They first said that the breather valve to the crank case was cracked and needed to be replaced. I told them to do the repairs and a few hours later they found that the valve was fine but was covered in oil from the turbo. So I had them replace the bad turbo with a stock one (due to time and money) and has been fine since. They replaced the turbo the following day as they had to order the part from a dealership. I did hear an odd noise when I drove it the next day so I contacted them to see if I can schedule a time to get it looked at. Jim was kind and said to bring it in right away since I spent a lot of money on it and wanted it taken care of. They looked at it and found the noise came from the up pipe heat shield. One of the welds broke and caused rattling. I heard the sound before the repair and I wanted to make sure it wasnt related to the bad turbo so it wasnt speedyroos fault. They didnt charge me for them to check out the noise. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and finished the repair in a timely manner. Jim is great at what he does and takes care of his customers. He answered all of my questions quickly and promptly. Sometimes he gets too caught up in his work but he does his best take of you and answer your questions. I would definitely recommend Speedy Roo to anyone for their Subaru needs.
Sent my 16 year old and his car over twice. Great to be able to trust the guys to take care of them both.
My son found Speedy Roo for me and it will take me and my outback down the road for many years. I sure love going back to the good ole days when you can ..And that’s what it felt like, your brother was a mechanic and smart and he fixed your car, and was happy about it
Great service, they are honest and do what they say. Brooke and Jim are really good up front. Dave is a car genius.
Hands down the best Subaru shop in Colorado. Hard to find genuine people in the Subaru / Performance world. However, walking into Speedyroo you will find just that! Dave & his staff are top notch and very welcoming. They have worked on several of my cars and even built my 04 sti into a 700hp monster. To this day the car hasn’t had one issue with the motor and loves running 10s! Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
Great place, does me right every time. I trust these people and you should too.
I havent taken any of my cars anywhere else for 12 years, not even the dealership. This really is a one-stop shop. My family members who live in Colorado dont go anywhere else for all their automotive needs either.
Good prices and good service, but they need to put a mat down on your passenger side floor mat because they got grease and oil all over mine and after four citrus wipes its still not all gone....
They had my car for 3 whole days when I was told 1 day initially. Also quoted me 700 bucks walked out with a 1400 dollar bill. Wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Was talking to a guy that had been there ALL DAY for brake rotors and pads and a couple lines. Unreal they should be called slow roo! Only thing they are speedy about is to RIP you off.
Took my 03 toy 4runner in. Jim and the guys inspected the suspension and debunked most of the dealers long list of faults. I needed new rear shocks and I added fluid changes in the diffs, transfer case and trans. I recommend this shop and will return anytime my 4runner needs a lil love.
Great service. Great price!!
Overall not a bad experience, got my E85 tune on my Subaru and my car runs flawlessly, I would highly recommend you ask for Derek the Tech who installed all my parts on my car, he knows a lot about Subarus. However they are high priced but they stand by their work..Jim the service advisor needs to brush up on his math skills in calculating a bill, didnt have my downpipe installed but was still charged, I let it pass because I just wanted my car back. But overall not a bad experience would recommend them. Thanks
They are the best at what they do.They help me to install my Cobb accessport step by step at no cost thank you guys.
Come here for everything my car needs. They are usually friendly, and quick to get you in and out. Some of their repairs are a little pricey compared to other subie shops but all in all they are great!
In the beginning of 2016, I had the shop completely rebuild my 04 STi engine for almost 8 grand (included a stage 1 clutch). The build included forged internals (rods, pistons, new crank). 2 years later and not even 20,000 miles into it, the following problems have ensued; leaking cam seals on both sides, striped oil pan bolts/leaking pan & dipstick tube, and leaking valve covers. The oil pickup wasnt even replaced with this build, and head studs werent done either. I also had them put on a new turbo, and the oil line is leaking as well. In addition to this, the shop misdiagnosed a bad rear diff. All in all, the experience left me feeling completely ripped off which is unfortunate, because at one point I enjoyed coming here.
Fast, reliable service at a fair price - again...
Brought my car here with an exploded transmission. Got it back running better than ever. They went above and beyond and I doubt I will take my car anywhere else. I highly recommend Speedy Roo.
I needed some help with reliability and endurance improvements. Jim went the extra mile to find a forged piston set with custom rods and crank that will most likely meet that need.
Ive been having problems with my daughters Subaru and took it to other mechanics I took it to this place and they fixed it right the 1st time I am very happy very happy with their service and the price I will definitely take this car there and nowhere else from now on. CE
These guys are top notch. fantastic customer service.
In the last weekBe sure to have your vehicle inspected by an outside source. I bought a vehicle that was literally missing from wheel bushings, completely rusted out the rods and wheel herrings. When i brought in abiut 2 months of issues the mechanic lifted it up and asked me Is this a fn joke? I said no. He then said whoever sold this car to you sold you a death trap and should be shut down. That whoever was Speedy Auto.Beware. Shady shady business. Youll know one you walk inside the 1950s style 10 x 10 ice shack they call an office. Im accountable for trusting these clowns.Adam Miller2 reviews
Great and prompt service. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
I took my old Toyota Camry in. It was having a lot of problems. So much so that we have to decide whether or not it is worth fixing. The did not charge us for their diagnostics. Very kind!
I took my 2013 WRX there to be tuned in January. Come tune day they tell me they did a smoke test and found a leak on the throttle body inlet hose. They called me and said they needed to remove the intercooler to fix the issue, I agree to the repairs. 3 months later I decide to upgrade my intercooler for a larger one. Upon installation I find this, the flange bolts for the turbo outlet are both seized and corroded indicating they were never removed, both bolts snapped off inside the turbo. Second, I find the hose clamp on the throttle body inlet hose, the cause of the leak, was movable by barely placing and flat head screwdriver on it. They charged me $180 for repair that was never made. The ONLY reason they get a 3 star is because the tuner did a decent job dyno tuning the car. I will not be bringing my car back there.
Excellent customer service and awesome staff. These guys are the best at what they do and i only recommend this shop for all of Colorado.
Not a really good place to fix a car.But I know your technicians. They are not professionals...
Great rates and knowledgeable mechanics. Busy shop, but they get you in for an appointment quick.
David and the team always provide great service and are the most knowledgeable team I have met for my Subarus and Nissan truck. They are the only place I go for service on my vehicles.
They get the job done right the first time! Speedy Roo specializes in Subarus and Im a first time Roo owner......My next car will be a Roo Forester and Ill definitely bring that here as well.......Im a loyal customer!
This place is awesome. They stand behind their work.
Told them I had an over heating problem and they couldnt figure it out. Had my car all day when they said it would only be until the afternoon. I missed class that day needless to say fighting to get my car back. I paid damn near $100 just to find the cause of the problem at home on my own.
Quick work, friendly folks.
Bought an 09 WRX that had already been (poorly) modded. Brought it to Speedy Roo for a tune, and they wiped the old crappy tune, added 20whp and 40 ft/lb of torque to an already impressive 250whp. I love driving my car again.
They did a good job and fixed all my problems
Terrible place to take your Subaru! Awful customer service! Thousands of dollars for a couple hundred in part. Doesnt actually get fixed. Full of unprofessional swindlers. Please dont take your car here. Will be the biggest mistake you ever make. Wish there was a negative star option.
Very friendly, humorous and willing to put the time and labor into helping you with your car
Fast and friendly service, 45 min drive for me but its worth it to get good service.
One of the best and least expensive places you can take your Subaru to.
Quick and friedly place.
Tuned my 2016 sti limited to pristine condition, made excellent power, ill even trust these guys with my life! Will do all my business there, totally blown away experience
Great Service and Staff! Always knowledgeable and very friendly!
Would not recommend speedy Roo charged me $300 for nothing!first of all you were supposed to have your specialist go through the car and diagnose the problem which never happened metal in my oil yes is a problem, but you should have figured out the problem and came up with the solution to fix my car which you did not.so say what you want
