I always take my vehicle to Good Hands. The staff there is very friendly and professional. They are always honest about what is going on with my vehicle, when a certain service would be best to do, and have even walked me back to their shop to show specifics on my vehicle to help me understand an issue. I’ve also taken them vehicles for a pre-purchase inspection and they have been very helpful in providing a clear picture of what is good and bad about a vehicle. If you’re looking for a honest and no-pressure mechanic this is the place to go.

They didnt do a diagnostic check of the vehicle and just did surface maintenance. They gave me back a car that didnt run properly because they only fixed what they could see on the surface.Edit for owners comment: its Dominique Searuggs a 2006 grand cherokee im sure your guys remember the car.

I wish I had read the reviews first. This is a ripoff. They fixed things I didnt ask for. Installed used parts that did not fit my car. Lied about the quote and still didnt repair my car. Held my car hostage for $1700 and i still had to have it towed to a dealership. Who is now charging me $5700 to repair the items they claimed to have repaired. Left axle, right axle, control arm, rack and pinion. Im filing a claim and calling Channel 7! I still have the paperwork. So dont try to say I have the wrong place! Im coming and Im not going away! I want my money back!

Family owned and operated. Fair pricing and they will get you what you want. Although I did feel like I was being pushed in different directions with repairs they did give me exactly what I wanted. I will definitely go back.

My air-conditioning stopped working. So I went to them to get it check out. They came back with a quote of $1700.00. Told me I need a new compressor and couple other things. They quoted the compressor at a cost of $650. Another shop got it for $300. After taken it to another mechanic I was able to get the whole job done for $800. But I had to pay good hands $150.00 for an outrageous quote. More then double what it should cost.

Needed my alternator replaced, these guys got me in same day! In and out within an hour and very reasonable prices. Nice to have a friendly trust worthy mechanic in my neighborhood, thank you guys!

Went to have them repair the a/c on my 94 Pontiac. Instead of finding the real problem and fixing it correctly, they saw fit to charge me $200 for a recharge that worked for about an afternoon. In addition, they somehow ripped my inside door panel completely away from the door and tried to conceal the damage. When I went back to confront them, everyone denied it of course. At the end of the day this place charged me 200 bucks to destroy my door panel and lie to my face about it. 2 stars only so folks who ignore 1 star reviews might read this and beware

Good Hands Auto saved my car in a time of need. Our muffler dropped down while driving so we called them up because of the good reviews. All the positive reviews are so so true! They fit us in first thing in the morning and had the car up and running within an hour. They didnt try to get more services or money from me. The people who work here are honest, reliable, and super friendly. I wish I lived in Aurora because then I would have a mechanic to go to. Disappointed.I was told they replaced a battery to see if the crazy codes were bogus but the codes showed up. Then they said I needed a sensor to sort the code out, so we replaced that and same codes. Then they point out that the alternator was charging low and they wanted to replace that. I stopped the work due to lack of money and I shipped my car home. Once I bought a new battery the codes disappeared and the car runs fine although I will need to replace to alternator before the car kills my new battery. I just wish that they do what they say and say what they exactly do so I could have told them to really try a new battery and not just a small jump pack.Nice people to talk with but it would be better to trust them fully.

These guys were great! They communicated with me fully through the day. My car drives like a champ again (needed new Struts something awful). Also, they went above and beyond helping me fix an issue with my warranty company - not something I expected them to do. Saved me some time and some cash. I will be a returning customer, but hopefully not for a while 😉

Great auto shop! Ive been taking my car here for several years and theyve always been open and honest about my car. Its a pretty old car that Im trying to just keep alive for a little longer, so lots of things are broken with it. They have been able to keep it going with very minimal maintenance!

The staff at Good Hands took care of us when my family had car troubles while on a road trip. They made what could have been an extremely stressful experience actually quite pleasant. Not only did they take care of our problem quickly, but they made sure we were taken care of while the mechanics did their jobs. We had a fantastic experience.

We had our car towed to Good Hands after a different mechanic didnt know what he was doing. The tech and mechanics at this auto shop clearly communicate with their customers, have reasonable prices, and are very kind. We appreciated our experience with them.

These guys are the best! They do great diagnostics testing and are very honest. Ive had some work done on a Porsche Cayenne with them that hey knocked out of the park and for a very reasonable price relative to what i would have had to pay elsewhere. I was in the process of taking another car to them to get some issues looked at, and Audi A3. After sending them the error codes it was pulling they showed their integrity by letting me know i would be better off visiting another Audi specific shop which they had a recommendation for.All in All, good honest people work here.

She gets it, and at such a young age. The new manager has lots of experience and has high standards/expectations. The owners have operated with integrity and really handled my situation that exceeded the call of duty. After a mobile mechanic replaced my cars alternator w a poor refurbished one, and never returned my calls, Good Hands came to the rescue, (along w AAA). Thank you.

I have been using Good Hands almost exclusively for the past 3 and a half years and have found them to be a consistently reliable source of quality auto maintenance. The owner, Nils, always explains in useful detail what needs to be done to your car and why. They use quality parts and dont skimp on the work -- I have very rarely had to bring a car back for rework. They always offer me a ride to, and pickup from, work if I need it. I was concerned when I moved here from out of state about being able to find a shop with which I could establish an ongoing relationship, so imagine my relief when I found Good Hand literally only a week after I arrived in town!

Got us in and out very quickly on our family road trip. Very willing to accommodate our kids and drive us to mall while service was performed.

If i had a zero i would have out it im sure this wipl dissapear but heres our story with this sorry company. I would NOT recommend this company and am very disappointed in the way they conduct business. My husband and I live in Grand Junction and are in Denver temporarily while our son is battling brain cancer. While driving our son to chemo one day our car sadly decided to break down. We had it towed to our temporary place the hospital graciously provided while we get our roots set. We had heard amazing things about Good Hands Auto and how trustworthy of a company they are so we decided to give them a try. When my husband called and talked to Good Hands Auto he was told that we would not be charged for a diagnosis and that as long as we towed it to his shop, he would happily look it over for free, give us options and talk it through with us before doing anything, and we would work together given our situation. What a god send, right? Until he had looked over our car and gave us a call a day after we towed it to him. We were told our spark plugs were black, we had changed them once the car broke down, thinking it was the issue so we hadnt even drove it since we put them in. We were also told that it was going to be $250 since he looked over it a little bit and was wanting more time and money to diagnose it. Mind you, they didnt fix anything or do anything to it. We then decided it didnt feel right and wanted to go else where for a 2nd opinion. They said we had to pay our new bill or we couldnt have our car back. Thankfully our case worker helped us out and got our car back for us and towed to a new shop. But the hassle and stress this place is passing out to its customers is a real bummer and to feel taken advantage of given all circumstances is a damn shame.

Do not do business with Good Hands. Originally I was an additional driver in this fiasco to help the owner get back and forth. But after this whole thing, people should know how Good Hands operates. First, after an engine swap done at their shop, they sent the vehicle home with a check engine light claiming it would go out after a few drive cycles. Almost immediately the engine was leaking oil and running rough. I helped drive it in for the owner and dropped it off. Good Hands forgot to plug in two O2 sensors and the TPS sensor. They fixed the oil leak and claimed they had fixed all other issues, but we didn’t make it out of the parking lot before the check engine light was back on and the vehicle was running rough again. It was closing time, so they were all running out of the place and we decided to take it back in the morning. Took it back again and they claimed there were no issues with the engine and the existing ECM was not the right ECM for the vehicle. No issues with the ECM prior to the engine swap. Good Hands claimed they could not locate an ECM for the vehicle and it sat in their shop for over two months. Finally the owner had enough and wanted to pull the vehicle. Plan was for me to pick it up, but there were some heated exchanges between the two parties and Good Hands demanded $700 for the ECM because electronics are not covered under their engine warranty. After going back and forth I decided to just pay it myself and take a look at it and the owner and I would settle up later. Diagnostic sheet printed from Good Hands stated that the vacuum leak codes were due to the bad ECM. Once home, it took me all of 10 minutes to isolate a leak at the EGR valve. The PCV valve was also completely seized into the PCV valve cover. Both of which took less than 24 hours to diagnose and repair. How does a shop not notice those issues for over two months on an engine they installed? I’d recommend not trying to figure that out and take your business elsewhere.

I would not take your vehicle here. They are very unprofessional. They ordered my transmission without me giving an okay. I never signed anything. I never agreed to anything. I decided I didn’t want my work done here and they didn’t give me back my car. I had to call the police, threaten to sue, and everything under the sun. Then they proceed to tell me they already started the work. They don’t give straight forward answers and their communication is not existent. Very unprofessional!!!

Good Hands is a family owned shop with a staff that goes the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction and safety; I highly value those ideals. With every auto shop there is the worry that when you come in to have your brakes repaired you are soon notified of all the other things that could be fixed as well. And, although I did receive such a call, Nils (the owner) let me know what he thought to be safety issues rather than trying to sell me any and every worn part. They were very thorough and put no pressure on me to do additional work; he only informed me of the status of my vehicle, helping me to understand how exactly they were improving my car. This is the first auto shop I would I would literally send a thank you card.

Honest, reliable, outstanding service. Nils even tracks the service record of my car and conferences with me about the service history and shows me how to do routine upkeep on my own to prolong my cars life. If they find a problem with my vehicle they take me into the service area to show me what they are seeing, explain my options, and complete the repair quickly. I highly recommend them!

Very satisfied after two visits. Today they charged me half of what the local Hyundai dealer quoted for the same service. The mechanics seem to have a lot of experience, and both they and the admin personnel are willing to discuss all options available to address your issue and keep you rolling. They want you to be a long-term customer, and treat you accordingly. They also shuttle.

This is such a rip off. I paid 1300 for a radiator job. A then they qouted me almost $800 for a break job. These prices are ridiculous. And not to mention, my car wasn’t even fixed after the radiator work. It actually was driving worse. I won’t be going back. Been there once, and that was enough.

How can they be getting these reviews when they take the bad reviews down. I find this dishonest and will never go back to them after my experience. I went in first part of July with specific check engine light codes knowing I needed a tuneup, motor mounts and oil change at the very least. They were originally going to charge for diagnosis but since they only did my oil change and no other work in an 8 hour day the owner said he would not charge me. I did not even find out anything about my van until I called about two p.m. the owner said he would call me back shortly to let me know the progress by 4 p.m. I knew my van would not have the work requested done. I went to pick up my van at 5:00 p.m. with other customers getting the runaround I got. We dont have the parts you will need to make another appointment. I dont have the staff to get to all of the jobs. If you have an appointment you should expect your vehicle to be first in line that day and get the bulk of a job done. If you have a big job I can see a couple days. The point is this is supposed to be a Christian business owner and he should be honest and keep up the most recent bad reviews instead of using reviews that are up to 3 years ago. I gave them a 2 because the owner did try to explain the problem and did want to try to have me come back. But with the little work that was done and now being dishonest I would recommend checking out other shops. Also his diagnostic fees are very high compared to some that are free. This shop is great! I have been using good hands for over 3 years now. They have always been very honest, and always go out of their way to help us. The owner nils rescued me today when my car died around the corner from the shop. They were swamped and he took the time to come jump my car so I could save a tow and get it to their shop. They unfortunately lost one of their main front desk employees recently and are going through a period where they are short staffed and there is a learning curve with new people but Ive always found them very great to work with. Everyone has always been pleasant. I even needed copies of old receipts in the beginning of August and the person who answered the phone was very helpful.

It is good to find a car mechanic who is honest with the customer. Good Hands Auto is that company. Nils and company are professional, courteous, friendly and HONEST. I will continue to go back to Good Hands again and again.
