First of all, the cashiers were like 18.. I had no problem there, until I asked one of them a question.. she had a stank face, and then didn’t even know what I was asking about, so she had to ask the other girl… Let’s just say her overall customer service needs some improving…. IF she still works there lol

They shut down the other Sephora that was in the mall, and this one has much less of the products than the one that closed.

I don’t go here anymore but last time I went the employees stared at me. The lady there kicked me and my friends out because we did not have parents with us. She didn’t know our age and we weren’t doing anything wrong.
I only rated this 4 stars because it was hard to find. Back home in hawaii, sephora isnt in JcPennys

Kept trying to give this location a chance, customer service is always sparse. This location in particular is always low on products, can hardly find what I am looking for. For some reason I end up waiting 15 minutes to get matched or help with makeup and end up leaving without help every time. Employee said they would help me in a few minutes, I figured they were just wrapping a conversation up but ended up waiting for nothing and the store was lonely. Some employees are amazing but it is usually on a lucky day. I end up making a 40 minute drive just to go to the Cherrycreek location.
They have my favorite skin cleanser & are very friendly & professional
I went in to try on some products and ask questions about my Beauty Insider account. I was checked on by a couple different associates roaming the store and the one who helped with my BI account couldnt actually fix my problem but she was friendly and informative. The stock in general and brand selection isnt as complete as in a full stand-alone Sephora store but I am really pleased that this option is available.
Bad customer service and the few employees that work there doesnt make this place worth waiting or going. Also they dont have much items in stock. Dont waste your time coming here.
The girl who helped me out today was VERY friendly, honest and funny. I wish I remembered her name but shes a light skinned Hispanic girl with black hair. She was more then willing to help me find my foundation shade and was very informative.
I have NEVER had a bad experience in this Sephora. I have been buying makeup in this Sephora since it opened a few years ago. Each and every time I go into this store I am offered help by one of the very helpful employees. Often, I dont know exactly what I am looking for, and the associates always take the time to help me find a product.
I have been going to Sephora’s for YEARS! All over the country too and have always had amazing experiences. Since coming here I have never felt so judged! I love getting free samples because I’m able to explore my options and change up my fragrances without having to spend so much all at once. Well since coming to this particular location It feels like I’m being looked down on when asking for my free samples. What finally got me was the young guy with the blonde hair that works there told me I had to register before getting my samples... I don’t know it just made me feel weird and awkward. Customer service here really needs to improve. They are giving such a good store a bad name.
The guy working there with blond hair was super rude to me when I asked for my birthday gift. And he said he could not give me a bag, Because they are for paying customers only and the bags are expensive. Wow.. didn’t know Sephora was so hard up for bags. Even the other customer noticed how rude he was to me.
This location is definitely not worth the time! The one star is for the one time this location had the product I needed in stock and the two cashiers who were actually helpful & friendly. I would have to be in desperate need to come back... like it was out of stock in every other store & online desperate!!!
I asked one of the sales ladies to help color match me, I ended up waiting over 15 minutes just to have her walk out and not come back. I ended up leaving as well. I had spent well over 30 minutes in the store for nothing. Poor customer service.

Coming from a man who was very new to make up and needed help I was surprised how great my first trip in was. I walked out with samples. Confidence. Ideas. I went back and left feeling sad. Let down. And like I knew even less then the first visit. The employees seemed unsure how to help me but certainly tried to sell me the best of the best. When I checked out I asked about samples, per the policy and the window sign you leave with up to 3 samples with every purchase, I was told there were none. They were completely out and only have them from time to time. If you want a semi decent experience in a crowded attempt at a Sephora store, go here and make sure you see Kianna. She is the saving grace.
Excellent service and fabulous makeup
Fourth time Ive been to this store and they have not had my foundation. I had to settle with a different brand twice. I think they are unorganized and need to keep up with their inventory. It sucks having to drive longer distances to find what youre looking for at your closest sephora store. The only reason Im giving them a one star its because the girls there seem helpful but just short on everything! My sister also couldnt buy a pallet she loved!

These people need extreme thurough training. In customer service and working at the registers. They can’t even comprehend how to do a simple exchange WITH ORIGINAL receipt for just a simple change of shade of foundation in same product. God forbid you get the wrong color in product because you will not be able to exchange. Extremely rude and have no people skills. Other jc penny Sephora’s are completely fine with no issues or attitude from workers. DO NOT RETURN OR EXCHANGE ANYTHING HERE. THESE PEOPLE ARE 100% INCOMPETENT. OBVIOUSLY NO SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO BE HIRED HERE.
I dont know what happened but when i went it was trashed. The store had nothing, displays were a wreck and empty. Every open makeup was scratched out or used to smear on everything. This one is terrible.
Please do not waste your time at this Sephora when CHERYL is on staff. CHERYLs ATTITUDE and MAL intent of work ethic is not worth your time, effort, and especially money. CHERYL does NOT feel the need to follow store policy on returns. ** CHERYL will NOT look up your purchase item on your Sephora VIB account regardless if Sephoras policy states so! If you had a great experience with her then did I catch CHERYL during one of her menopause moments of frustration? Super disappointed Sephora Management!
Every single time I go into this Sephora theyre always out of stock or they never have the products in store that say they do have online. It feels as if the reps just want to get rid of you fast so they dont even listen to what you have to say.
I can get the Josie Maran argan oil products I like here.
Absolutely the worst customer service!!! Its bad when you have several hundred dollars worth of product you are ready to buy but decide to put it all back because you cant get help. Even after asking an associate for assistance they decided that stocking was more important than taking two seconds to grab the shade of foundation I need. To make matters worse she had the audacity to tell me I cant get it myself. Well too bad for you Sephora, you just lost a VIP member because Im not ever spending my money at this location ever again.

Crappy store. Everything in the store is either broken or not there so you can’t even look at the makeup. Plus the product is not there & the testers is also gone. If you ask to look at something the worker takes you to the front of the cashier and pulls it out and you don’t even get to hold it yourself or anything. & JCPenny “security” team is a joke. They accuse people of stealing and they are four Mexican guys. One who says your lying every 5 seconds and accuses you. The others are liars and act like they have solved world hunger when they can’t even do their jobs right. Those kind of people shouldn’t be in security positions. WOW. That Sephora an JCPenny just need ALL new staff who know what their doing and are idiots.
They sold me a fake Abh Dipbrow pomade, I didn’t realize this until 2 or 3 weeks after I bought it when I looked at the bottom of the product, the tag wasn’t even close to alike to the real dip brow pomade ! Horrible location & they never have anything in stock. Everything is broken & they don’t care to restock testers . Save yourself the trip of going here.
Terrible customer service. Sephora has a return policy which is absolutely amazing, however this location will not honor it. I went in last weekend to return a highlighter that Id used once or twice and didnt like, and an eyebrow kit that was never used and still in the box. I asked an employee about returns and she proceeded to give me a ridiculous run around. You cant return it without a receipt Its too long past the return date. We can only give you back $10. I drove to the Sephora at Cherry Creek Mall, and they let me return both items and I got the full value back as in store credit, which is perfect. If you need to do returns, dont go to JcPenney Sephora. They are rude and unprofessional and dont even abide by the companys policies.
The manager is extremely rude! She borderline snatched an empty cologne bottle from my fathers hand and placed it on the counter when asked if there was a bottle that he could actually smell. I was absolutely disgusted, the way she spoke to him was also demeaning. I will definitely be contacting corporate about this.
The manager at sephora has very poor customer service and a hard time with listening to customers. After refusing to let me pay with my JCPenny card, I asked where the manager was. She replied she was the store manager, and I asked if she was for the entire store of JCPenney and she confirmed. She asked me to take the shoes off my feet I planned to wear out the store and said o.k when I told her Im not spending my money there. Very displeased with the treatment I received after shopping at this location for 6 years, I decided to try a different register. I was able to check out with no problem. Instead of saying maam I cant help you here but maybe another register will be able to she was okay with JCPenny loosing a loyal customer. She needs to be re-trained in customer service and being completely honest. I am very disappointed that they would hire someone who would treat loyal customers this way.
