Quoted is one price over the phone and when we came to get service was double what was quoted. Seems like since being bought by Schomp they are all about the money and don’t care about their customers anymore. Luckily got them to honor the price we were quoted but they were very reluctant to do so. Not sure if we will be back again as I don’t support business that try to take advantage of people.

Expecting a hefty repair bill for my A/C and radio, Luis Pineda jiggled some radio buttons and both started to work. Seems the RPT button was stuck. No charge and one very happy customer. Big thanks and kudos to Luis for resolving the problem!
My visit here was alright. I took my 2015 Crosstrek in for some warranty work. The service up front and the loaner service were amazing. My representative was Joaquin. His communication was on point and he was very professional. As for the service department.......I imagine they were just trying to get any kind of sale out of me. They came up with 2 things in the report that were not needed at all that were recommended. First was that one of the brake calipers was leaking brake fluid. I had just had my brakes replaced about a month and a half prior including the calipers. I took the car back to Les Schwab and they confirmed as well as brought me back to see that there was no leak. Second was a head gasket leak, which after I took to a third party to inspect they could not find the leak reported. All in all its not bad if you need some warranty work completed but dont take the word of the service department at face value.

Staff is friendly, but the $160 they charged me to look at my wipers/dipstick/tread and read my OBD was rather painful. In theory, you can apply it to a repair, but only if you immediately accept the service. Appointments seem to be more of a rough suggestion than an expectation of actual arrival/delivery, which rankled me a bit more than it should have, given the diagnosis fee. My previous dealer on the east coast included an x-point safety inspection, quick interior mini-detail with your oil change, as well as a (more thorough) car wash.Ill have to find an actual shop out here, since apparently covid basically made 2020 a lost year isnt sufficient to excuse for being three months out of warranty. Paying $3600 for 12 hours of shop time for a non a essential feature (that is, unfortunately, enough to permanently turn on my check engine light) to replace a bad wiring harness and/or a $100 part just rankles. Im bummed out by the experience.
I used to always look for an alternative to the dealership but my experience with two particular Service Reps at Schomp Subaru has changed my mind. Mathieu Whiteman and Amanda Hernandez have been exemplary! Both are thorough and professional but extremely personable. They always seem to be genially interested and accommodating. If I could give 6 stars I would. I had an issue with my window not rolling down so I scheduled an appointment with Mathew thinking it would take a few hours, instead he solved the issues by resetting my windows in literally 30 seconds. After that he answered all of my questions I had about my new car. Super pleased with this experience!

The staff are always very friendly, and being from out of town, they do their best to get me back on the road home as early as possible.Id like to specifically point out that my service agent, Joshua Kelley, has always been very friendly, professional, and kept me updated throughout the duration of my fuel injection replacement. Terrible! I had an appointment to get my vehicle repaired only to be told I have to take it elsewhere. Just wasted my time. I wish I could have been told 2 weeks ago when I made the appointment to come in.
The last time I took my car in for a service appointment, I was very disappointed. By the agreed upon pick up time, no work had been done on my car. This was over 6 hours later. According to the service advisor, this is not out of the ordinary for the service center and they often receive complaints. Yet nothing changes.
Went in for a pre purchase inspection on a used Subaru Impreza, that I knew had a malfunctioning rear gate latch. After the inspection was performed there was no note about the rear gate needing to be repaired. If they missed something that simple how can you trust them on something more complex. Because of this experience I wont be buying a Subaru anytime soon so I can avoid ever having to do business at this service center.
I had an airbag recall. They provided a rental car from Avis since the work took several days. I had my passenger side outside mirror replaced. This was done prior to returning the car to me.
