My nephew has had a little money burning a hole in his pocket, so we visited a few collectible stores today. He found something he wanted that was well within his price range. I was pretty impressed with the organization and cleanliness. My nephew is already planning a trip back there to show it to his dad. He kept saying, This is a great store, I cant wait to go back! Thanks for the great experience.
Brandon, the owner, was a gem!! It took me a little while to find his store but once I did I was blown away! The way he has his comic books displayed on the wall looks like an art gallery! He had many selections and I took him my collections from the 70’s of Archie and Richie Rich. I was so glad to meet him! He was very personable and every customer that entered his shop was like family to him! I would highly recommend Cobalt Comics & Collectibles in Aurora, CO!
One of the best comic shops in town. Brandon goes out of the way to make people feel welcomed and appreciated. One of the few shows that has a good selection of bronze age back issues as well. Do yourself a favor and stop in.
I am beyond impressed with this store! Brandon is the owner and ONLY employee here and he does such an amazing job! He keeps up with orders, is so friendly and helpful, extremely knowledgeable and if he isn’t going to be there that day or is late or left early he always posts it on the door! My kids love coming here just as much as I do! This store feels like home to us and I’ve met some pretty cool friends here. Thank you Brandon for all your hard work and dedication!
The owner of the shop, Brandon, is such a kind and genuine person! They made it very easy on me selling a sentimental comic collection and took the time to explain the things I didn’t understand. The store is well organized and easy to spend a lot of time in, they’ve got some really great stuff to look through. 12/10 recommend going to check out this locally owned small business! :)
Small shop but lots to look through! The staff is absolutely incredible. They always go above and beyond to help you get what you want or need!
Very cool shop. Good selection of comics, toys, etc. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The owner always provides fair prices.
I recently moved to the area and needed a place to buy/play warhammer and get comics. I walked into this place and was immediately greeted by the manager brandon who was both incredibly kind and professional. He helped me find the things I needed and was able to immediately order what I didn’t have. Super happy to have such a resourceful shop so close to my house.
Unrivaled customer service! I came in to the shop, from out of state, with no idea what I wanted to buy, and on a pretty limited budget. Brandon was extremely helpful in showing me books that I might be interested in. Unfortunately, he made the understandable mistake of getting two comics mixed up (xmen vol.2 issue 8 and uncanny xmen 282). When I realized this and reached out, he didnt just take the loss, or offer me a refund.. He bought and sent me a copy of the book I wanted, in a WAY higher grade, as well as newsstand!! Cobalt comics definitely didnt have much to gain by doing me right, but they did anyways, and for that they gained a customer for life.
Very impressed with Brandons professionalism and respect. My son brought in some beautiful Pokémon cards to sell and trade. Brandon showed him how to tell the real ones and made him a fair offer on the good ones.
Nice place. Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable. Will come back again
This is my go to shop for classic silver and bronze age books. Great layout, lot of inventory, very reasonably priced books, and top Notch customer service. I typically stop in once a week or at least every other week to keep up to date on new inventory for my collection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
The friendliest store Ive ever gone to. Brandon (the sole owner and operator) is probably the most friendly person Ive ever met in a comic store. This is more than a place to buy comics its a place to be and hangout with him and the great regulars who come in. A very welcoming place.
Great store. Regular customer for more than a year now. It is clean, safe, and line everyone says very comfortable. The owner is one of the nicest guys you will meet. My kids lived the place and had a blast a while back trying to find the hidden baby Yoda’s. Highly recommended.
Coolest comic store shop ever. Inspired me to start my own collection.
Super friendly staff. Just went in to take a look around. Very clean and organized.
Wanted to visit. Showed up during their open hours....closed with no warning. Nothing on social media or anything...although it does look like sometimes they just open late or close early for no reason. Not a great business practice for a small shop - we love supporting comic stores but hard to when theyre not open ever.
This small shop in the southeastern metro area does something I’ve never seen in a comic shop before. Not in big shops, not in small ones, either. It makes this shop utterly unique.Look through the photos I’ve posted and see if you can guess what makes this store so different. Do you see it? Can you tell? There are no long boxes!Brandon, the owner of this one-person operation, eschews those long, white cardboard boxes that you find in every other comic book store in the Denver area. Even stores that have custom-made shelves or drawers still have long boxes, and usually a lot of them. Not this pace! Older comics are bagged, boarded, and priced - and then put on display. On racks, like the new comics! It’s an intriguing way to do things. The older, un-boxed back issues are well-selected, presenting comics that have historical, artistic, or cultural interest. I looked at a few; they seemed in good condition and fairly priced. There are few hardcovers, but a good number of trade paperbacks. There is a very good-sized all-ages section right at the front of the store, near the counter, and also near a number of collectible Disney statuettes and figurines. Theres also a life-sized Winder Woman statue that is very lifelike. Its quite striking! This store has a lot of Warhammer figures. I dont know what those are, really, but the figures combined with the big, open tables leads me to guess that this is a store that hosts gamers. It will be interesting to see how this store develops. The owner already has shown - forgive this pun! - that he is willing to think outside the box.
☆⌒ヽ(*、^*)chuI hangout here all the time, I feel so comfortable when I am at Cobalt! Brandon is one of my favorite people in the world! He is so nice and welcoming to everyone who visits his store. It is so much more than just a comic book store!
Ive been in to Cobalt twice, now. Having shopped comic books most of my life, Ill know by the second visit if Im ever visiting, again. Looks like Ill be at least semi-regular. Brandons a good dude, and I mean that with respect: hes knowledgeable, actually cares about engagement, and brings his own value to the table. A lot of shops could learn from this. Ive picked up a little of everything from him, thus far: Transformers, comics, graphic novels... Im not a Warhammer guy but if you are, youll be happy you stopped in. I respect the neatness and general accessibility of his store. He makes do with a tiny space that might not have worked for someone else. I dig the vibe. Highly recommended. If youre wondering about the missing star, well, thats just because Im a 90s DC Vertigo kid and that just happens to be where his back issues are weakest. Its funny: Im removing a star because I cant give him my money. We call it a hobby because the word addiction has negative connotations, amirite? Anywho: Go see Cobalt Comics. Say hi to Brandon the 1st for me.
Excellent story you can find so many things in comics and different collectibles
Came in today to try and sell some of my randoms from my action figure collection although the owner only purchased 1 (completely understandable as my lot really had nothing exciting) I felt completely welcomed and happy with my entire experience he even paid a very decent price for the one fig he bought from me. The owner was very nice and helpful ! Even sent my wants list over to him today! I will definitely be shopping here next payday instead of my normal spots! Hopefully he finds some from my wants list so I can avoid Ebay and the old grouches at my normal shops!
Great place, have been watching it grow over the years.
Absolutely awesome collectible shop! The owner, Brandon, is super friendly and will help you out with whatever you need. Huge selection of comics and pokemon cards all at great prices, I try to make it in as often as I can to check out the always changing inventory. They also run Heroclix on Sundays with some really friendly folks, which I wish I could make it to more often.
Very great shop, very organized with a wide selection of comics and figures. We stopped in on a trip to run errands nearby and decided to make a stop.Brandon was helpful, informative and overall great! Got a Diablo II figure I have been looking for and some comics that were priced so good I couldnt pass them up :)Overall 9/10100% would reccomend to anyone in the local area.

Was my 1st visit to the store, found them by accident but I am glad I did. Owner Brandon was super cool and very helpful. My new #1 comic store and look forward to making frequent stops. Great selection on DBZ collectibles too.
This place isnt bad. The guy who works there is very friendly. I would prefer more of a selection of back issues. Store is clean and neat.
I am SHOOK with this place. I just got back into Pokémon card collecting and the sheer amount of amazing vintage cards that Brandon had was unreal. Pricing was BEYOND fair. Can’t wait to go back.
This place is awesome! Great Customer service! Do yourself a favor and check it out. One of my favorite little spots

Great shop! Brandon the owner is fair and extremely knowledgeable. As someone who is just getting back into collecting this is a great place to buy books and get some knowledge :)
The other night I stopped in on a whim. Hadnt been in since the quarantine. Was hoping to pick up a copy of Ronin to replace the one I dropped and significantly damaged. After stopping in a store that I wont name that tried charging me double cover price the day before(when it came out) I figured it wouldnt hurt to check another shop in the city. When I explained to Brandon what happened he sold me his copy! Who does that?? Ill tell you who, a stand up guy. Hes got my business now, in fact im going to set up pulls there even though its way out of my way. Its worth it to support him and his store. That was going above and beyond. Hes good people and worth doing business with. Also he set up back issue bins that werent there before and Theres some awesome books in them! 10/10 would recommend!
Fantastic location and community. Owner does a great job facilitating conversation and engagement between customers! I would give 6 stars if I could!
One of my favorite comic book stores. They are super nice and always engaging with customers. They have tons of events on a weekly or biweekly basis. Cant recommend them enough honestly.
My whole family loves this store! Super great atmosphere, and the owner is amazing!!

This place is amazing, I’ve been there twice now and wasn’t able to buy anything but still Brandon talked with me and was willing to help me with my dnd related questions. He let me just stay in there and chat with him until I had to leave. I’m really glad I came across this store!!
My son has fallen in love with this place. The owner Brandon is wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Cant say enough about how great this place is.
Scam artist eBay seller. Will sell you an item and not send and claim it was lost in the mail. Very rude and disrespectful as well, Take your business elsewhere.
Great addition to South Denver! I cannot praise this place enough. Brandon is a great owner, very friendly and is always willing to chat with his customers.
