A good-sized exchange for a small installation. They have all the uniform items I needed, plus lots of stuff for home. They’re located right next to the commissary which is definitely convenient.

Buckley Main Exchange, though not as large as comparative to others, is still a relatively descent Exchange to visit. The facility is always well maintained, the shelves are always stocked, the customer service is fabulous, and inventory is always available. I highly recommend this place to others, especially service members, veterans, and family alike. Wearing of masks is enforced while entering this Exchange.

Very impressed with the layout improvements and better selection since the pandemic. It is a great improvement to end the entry ID checks. The technology and entertainment selection was impressive.

Very nice base exchange. It has everything you may need. It’s not too big, not too small. I was especially impressed with one of the managers Ed Williams. Very compassionate and intelligent leader. It was a pleasure to be served by him and I’m sure that organization loves having him on the team.It’s nice that AAFES has consolidated so many services into one area. The gas station, food court, car repair shop, and even car wash are all in one location. I’ve used most of their services and have been impressed with all the departments. They always seem to have some great clearance items as well.Buckley AFB is well served. And if you can’t find it in the store, they have an excellent online store that will ship to your house or the store.

There is such respect for veterans at Buckley. Would love to see it enlarged where more stock was available for our service men and women.

Pricing is a mess, a price listed ALL on sale turned out to be just the non seasonal items. It took 3 people to do a price change all 3 touching my items repeatedly. The tall older gray bearded man w/glasses (whom I could only assume was the manager) was less than courteous and did NOT have his nose covered! Gross!

I always try to shop the exchange first if I can. They do a great job, and they need our business. Its very convenient not to have to leave the base when you need something quick and dont want to deal with local traffic. They have a lot of good brands and selections to choose from. Not quite a Walmart or Target, but way better than Kmart or Sears ever were. Totally worth checking the exchange first if youre nearby. Good prices on liquor compared to most places in the area. Easy access to a wide range name brand clothes in small selections. Never crowded.

Mr. Bill wasnt there but his staff handle the crowd without missing a beat Mary, Zo, and the other staff members.

Wide selection of products. Stood in line a little too long as the cashier scanned everything slowly for the three customers before us. She was very nice and knew a service mans name. I would like to be part of the community like that.

They require 100% military id check during covid19 pandemic. This means no guests allowed in with you. The bx is pretty standard. The smaller shops and food court remind me of every dying mall in america. Its one of the emptiest Ive seen on any installation.

Only military or retired military. They are the only people who can use the commissary or BX. . Its a city of its own.

Keep my mask on while getting a haircut?? And no place to sit down?? How about allowing some Social Distancing at the BX, Colonel. And possibly acting on the latest information about this panic and letting us get on with our shopping and our lives as humans.

Not much in there since the covid-19 went shopping for a computer but did receive friendly service from the check ID area and happen to have the same person also cash is out.

Decent exchange. Unfortunately, none of the various departments will answer the phone. If you have a question or need help, you must go in.

All the construction & water on the floor in various places was a bummer. Some items were in a roped off area & u cant get to it. Great prices on the kids work books !

Well... I bought a fridge a year or two ago and ended up getting the wrong fridge. Luckily it was the same price and similar, so I didn’t bother getting it switched out. This visit (Feb 2019) I buy a gun safe and ended up getting the wrong gun safe. I went to exchange it for the one I paid for and it wasn’t in stock. I appreciate offering the discount when it arrives but something needs to get fixed.

Unfortunately it seems that this Exchange suffers from being on a less-populated base, evident by the small size, lack of easily found items (Why are the Assault Packs so far away from clothing and uniforms?) and less choice overall in its Food Court regarding food and drink. Best place to order from is surprisingly the Dominos Pizza due to a larger variety in items than the Burger King and Subway.

Given the amount of active duty service members on this base the size of this exchange is pathetic. The uniform shop I think is a bad punchline. I can never find anything I need in there so I end up ordering it online. Stop carrying anodized medals for Navy. We cant wear them. I went in yesterday to look for bows. Wrapping paper everywhere but no bows. $2.40 for a 2 liter of soda? Yeah you save tax but with tax I can get it 1.79 out in town or .99 at the commissary. I really think the exchanges are becoming a waist of taxpayers dollars.

This rating is only for the firearm section. Its really hard to beat there prices. Knowledgeable staff and shout out to Pablo, excellent salesman. He talked me into buying a beautiful rifle. The only gripe I could have is they have a small selection on the floor. However, if you know what you want they can probably get it for you.

Has most of what I was looking for. Little empty on the shoe department, but did find the right types and sizes.

Theres nothing wrong with the Buckley BX. But unlike the past, theres no real reason to go there either. In the 70s, 80s, and 90s the BX was always my first option for virtually anything. Now the selection is marginal, and the prices are no longer competitive with department or big box stores much less online. Kinda like the end of an era.

I love going to the Aafes Base Exchange. They have a lot of nice things. I enjoy walking around the area for exercise.

Um. Well our cashier was kind of rude. But the store was clean. The other staff on the floor was nice and helpful. But yeah. Our cashier was soul less. No personality. Not a smile. Not a giggle. Her thank you was very dry and sad. But over all other then her. It was a good days worth of shopping.

Shopped for our grandsons birthday gifts. He turns four this Saturday. Found 2 of the 3 we wanted. But we found no toddler scooter in the exchange, soTarget is our next stop.

Trisha (manger on duty) was not helpful at all for a situation I had.I am brand new to the area, and havent found housing yet. Was looking to take some leave and park my car for a couple of weeks in the HUGE parking lot (was planning to park on the edge). Per BUCKLEY AFBI 31-218 dated 29 JUNE 2016 4.9.2.1. Vehicles may be parked in any parking lot as long as the facilities leadership has approved the request, provided they comply with owner/user requirements and posted signs. Trisha claimed she couldnt approve it. Then I said I had read in the AFI that she could. She eventually said she wouldnt approve it even if she could. She said there was some lot somewhere on base that I could do it, but didnt bother asking around or pointing me in the right direction. Thanks for nothing Trisha

We support the Air Force and all Armed Forces in our family but they charge our Airmen and Soldiers entirely to much money for everything on the Base now, even Burger King! Im just saying the Men and Women who serve this country deserve a break, somewhere!!!

They say that they price match but they call the store and waist your time. Had a price match with Target for a game for $50. The Target associate that the Exchange customer service called said “I think it’s like $69.99.” It wasn’t. They didn’t even check and MSRP is $59.99 max. I had the price pulled up on the Target website and everything. Huge waste of time.

If youre looking to shop at a military Exchange, I believe this is the only one in the Denver Metro area. Its a medium size store with a decent selection. There is a Class Six (liquor store) inside, which often has great sales. While their Electronics and Clothing departments dont have much to chose from.

10/10 AAFES. Same great military service youve come to expect since they closed Lowry. Commissary, Class Six and everything all in one building. Food vendors and food court up front. Reminds me of my childhood.

BX is a nice store to shop for name brands. The cashiers are nice and friendly, great customer service. To bad its not open to the public.

This place is okay. Nothing special. They have your essentials except for uniform items for any branch other then Air Force and Army.

The Exchange accomplishes its mission. Pretty much like all other AAEFES exchanges. Being so close to ski country, I was surprised that they did not have clothing for skiing.

This is the militarys answer to Wal-Mart. The exceptionis that the prices are cheaper and no taxes. Definetly brings down the cost of things. One visit we saved over $180.00 on reduced price and no taxes. Buckley AFB Exchange is top quality when it comes to military installations.Buckley Exchange, as I mentioned is quite large facility, but is also well stock and exceptionally clean. The signage is clear to see from roadway. There are restrooms for both genders and a change room. If you are authorized to visit Buckley Air Force Base I highly recommend a visit to the Exchange!.

Great BX low on a few things I needed but overall great place

Buckley AFB and Exchange is is the same building and can be seen as ytou come to the main gate on 6th Ave. The exchange is a medium size exchange with all the items you can expect in a medium size exchange store. The store also has all the military services uniforms available for purchase and there is a sewing shop also inside the store where the uniforms are sold.There is also a Food Court in the Exchange AreaThe Commissary is attached to the Exchange and it to is a medium commissary and it is well stock. But the best judge the level of stockiness all you have to do is to go to the potatoes chip aisle and unlike a large commissary which has a entire row of chips this commissary has about 3 shelves of chips and no Hawaiian Kettle Chips (sorry) .The commissary also has 2 lanes of you scan check out s so you get it and go.

The ladies who work in the military clothing section are very nice and helpful as well as the ladies that work in the stripes alterations.

Absolutely love the Main Echange on Buckly, many things you need and many you dont.

Not crowded but only 3 cashiers open.

If you like to wait in lines to checkout with only two or three registers open during the peak lunch time then this is the place for you.

All staff very courteous & helpful!
