Big Dollar is currently liquidating everything as they prepare to shut down, so everything is 50% off. However, there isnt a whole lot of things too many people would like. However, if you need some cheap party supplies, Chicago or sports merchandise, or other random cheap things, this is the place to go.

I purchased 77$ worth of items just 20 minutes ago. The lady who was shorter with long black hair didn’t wrap any of my glass items nor did she double bag them. I was in a hurry so I didn’t say anything. But my bag broke 5 minutes ago and all my glass items are now broken. Christmas is in a few days. Days that I happen to work. This is my last Christmas with my mom and those gifts are now broken. I’m out 52$ with no time or money to replace those items. I tried calling the store multiple times but no answer. Good prices but poor service. Had she wrapped the items they would most likely be ok as they just fell through the bag onto the floor. Words of advice: take time to tell them how to do their job. My son’s birthday is next month and I was going to return and get the entire bengals collection since it’s so hard to find up here. I guess I’ll need to look elsewhere.

Carmen the manager is always helpful and friendly. She always multitasking when I visiting the store. She definitely keeps me coming back to the store. Very warm personality

Going out of business for a reason..

This place is semi cool they have a couple of different options that the Dollar tree or other dollar stores do not have. I like the fact that they sell the banners for the different sports teams gives it an extra incentive to want to enter.

Even giving this place one star is generous, at first it was fine; the merchandise was okay, typical for a dollar store. I was in there with a couple friends browsing towards the back, when the store clerk, presumably the owner started harassing us. We were merely passing time browsing the material, but the clerk began harassing my friend into buying something he had briefly picked up and looked at. He continued following my friend around the store, glaring at him, and pacing around the counter giving him dirty looks. His actions made me and my friends and I nervous, and we considered getting a mall security guard to get him to leave us alone, but the clerk wouldn’t let us leave. He stormed up to my friend and I, yelling at him, and making gestures as if he was going to strike him. He told us we weren’t allowed to leave the store unless we bought something, and so we were forced to buy something. I must advise anyone who goes to Fox Valley Mall to avoid this store, as the clerk is very confrontational and aggressive. Yikes.

Cool store for cheap gifts, could use more cashiers for holidays though. Lots of stuff and Chicago sports stuff.

I was there yesterday and we were checking out, when I noticed a baby/toddler in a stroller with the cashier. This poor baby looked really drugged up! I wanted to call dcfs right then, but what made it even worse is we walked pass there again and this baby was by himself while the cashier was on the complete opposite side of the store. The child was still awake.

If its cheap, of course it has to be weak. I understand and i always shop here mofos :D
