ONE OF THE BEST COMMANDER COMMUNITIES!! As a flight attendant I travel to different spots to play commander on layovers and if you’re new to town or visiting and looking for a place to play commander, LOOK NO FURTHER. The people here are great, funny, and SUPER welcoming. Thursdays are their commander days but the staff are welcome to play with you if need be. Also their prices are great. Bought a few things and played a draft. I cannot wait to layover in this area again so I can play with the amazing people here.

Its extremely rare to see used or B1G1 offers in gaming stores, as well as an offer of active advice on the gameplay of board games (as the passionate store manager has supposedly tried most of the old games and is eager to jump on the new releases). They have plenty of gaming space and a private room available and an impressive storage of board games you can try out for free. Friendly staff and some interesting gaming events coming up!

Great store. Clean. The owner is nice and fun to play with. They have a small selection of drinks and snacks. Also have a room for DnD or other games behind a door. 4 larger tables for miniature wargaming and other tables for MtG and boardgames.

Amazingly knowledgeable staff. They sell board games, MTG cards, and memorabilia. They also sell used games and have a program to buy back old games.

I love this place. Ive been playing MTG here regularly since 2012 and Ive made some rad friends while gaming at Crit Castle. Its home ❤️ There are tables available for all varieties of games and you can buy snacks and drinks at the store while you hang out and play. Thank you, Crit Castle, for being such a wonderful part of our community! (If youre into Magic and interested in playing Commander, stop by Saturday nights! There is also a draft event (FNM) every Friday at 6:30)

I come to this place every week and I can always find a quick game of any game I play, also friendly staff always will to help with anything game related.

The staff is amazing and super friendly!!! Everyone here was extremely nice and no one gave the lady and I a cold shoulder, will gladly be back! The cards arent pricey but the collection was not the best. They seem to be more about warhammer and tabletop games! If I werent looking for just magic it would have been ideal! The staff made this well worth visiting! Would have been a 4 star but the staff really made this a 5 star!

They always have a great selection of games, miniatures, and paints. Their dice box for .50ea can be a great source of dice for new players and collectors alike. The staff is very friendly and helpful. An excellent FLGS

We came in for the first time and were so happy to have found this place! The employee who helped us was extremely helpful and helped us find exactly what we wanted. Its got great space for playing games and everything is clean and well organized. And huge kudos for having non gendered bathrooms! Between everything they have definitely won a customer.

I try to support this business before going to Amazon. Theyre good about ordering games they dont have in stock too.

Cool place I was checking it out for the first time and the guys are really into the stuff they sell! They were doing a demo of a game and invited me to play. It was super fun spending an hour with employees playing and learning a new co-op board game (and winning) it made the place less intimidating and I picked up a new game. Prices were a tiny bit higher than what I could find online but I was happy to support a cool local game store like this.

Great place for anything board games, miniatures and role playing. Employees know their stuff and will explain rules of you are stuck and there are demos quite often. Or if you want to you can just grab a board game from the the rental room and play with a group of friends.

One of the main reasons i enjoy going to this store is that it is super female friendly. Out of all the stores Ive gone to i feel the most welcomed and comfortable here. I go between 2 and 3 days a week, tons to play, great dnd groups, and its actually how i found my current group of friends!

So these guys were friendly and helpful. They had a good variety of games to choose from. I was specifically looking for DND models to paint to try GW new contrast paints. Unfortunately there selection was very limited on amount of models to choose from. The store was clean, plenty of space for different game formats with the ability to have private rooms. They also had a great discount selection area as well. Overall, I enjoyed stopping by and checking out the place.

Stopped in by chance, to warm up, and wow what a store. Games and cards galore! Plus tons of tables setup to build models, play a game or hit up a few rounds of Magic!!! Guys were so friendly, just walk in, say hello! and feel comfortable.

A place to game. Not a place to purchase games.The location is tailored for a good gaming experience, with public use tables, mats, and rentable rooms for now private experiences, the place frequently holds events and engages with the community.But if your shopping, its not so much of good experience. the selection is exceedingly limited and not intuitive, often havent expansions for games without the base game. If a game is not one of the popular big seller games, the staff has liked to no knowledge of the product.

Decent selection and not a hard place to get to. The main thing I feel is isolation and shun to new comers or long returning gamers. If you dont know what you want exactly or dont have the budget, the only feeling present is all negative. Ive been presented with this attitude every time I have come to browse or potentially shop. Isolating new people will never look good for business.

Such a cool place with the friendliest staff. If you have any questions about any kind of board games or Warhammer Magic the Gathering Dungeons & Dragons all that good stuff. They are very knowledgeable and they will help you look for what you are into and really explain it. They also have plenty of play areas that you can use and they have demo days so if youre not sure about a game you can go in and check it out play a couple rounds with the people that work there and see if you really want to pay for it. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This place is a great place for board, miniature, and card games. If you are looking to learn..go here on Sundays for board games. Paint workshops are on every 4th Sunday. Great service!

So, Im a lady and the bf & I have outgrown games I can buy at Target. I was so intimidated by the black curtains and window marketing that I didnt even go in the first time I drove there. I thought it was just for Magic/D&D type people and that I would be intruding on something. Anyway......I was being silly. The staff was super nice, complemented my game selections, and everyone there looked like they were having SO MUCH FUN!! Thanks for being nice to me. Ill be back :)

Crit Castle is awesome. They are constantly holding events for gamers in the area to get together and when the new games come in, their recommendations have been on point. If you are a gamer, you should check it out!

Decent selection of books and board games. Some MTG singles, and a few tables in the back for playing. Staff seemed a bit shy when I went in with my sons, and they didnt have the particular DnD book I was looking for, but Ill have to give the shop another shot soon.My hunt continues for somewhere to buy pre- painted DnD figurines. This place does have plenty of unpainted ones and the paint as well for anyone looking for the next project.

Good local FLGS that has a mix of all kinds of games, smallish selection, so if you know what you want have them order it for you. Good paint and hobby selection for miniatures. One if only two stores in Denver to participate in free rpg day.

The staff here are friendly enough and often try to get you to participate in the weekly ongoings of the store. This is your typical neighborhood board game store and offers much more reasonable hours than some of the other stores that are close by. Their selection for board games is pretty decent and they always seem to have some of the newer games on-hand. I believe they offer board games for rent as well and have a large tabletop area in the back for you Warhammer or Warmachine fans. This location is much better than their last, currently next to the laundromat near the Chambers and Alameda intersection, offering plenty of parking as well as a few walkable restaurants choices nearby.

Went on a Sunday to play games. No cover charge; free parking. Outside food & drink allowed (plus you can buy cold canned/ bottled sodas & gatorade). Lots of good sized neoprene covered tables. Large game library (or bring your own). Friendly to role players & board gamers.For sale - good variety of new games priced at what seems to be MSRP (going by memory). Also some used games & books (rpg manuals maybe - didnt look too closely).Very clean with great AC (summertime) & large clean bathrooms.MTG Friday Night Magic posters neatly covered one bathroom wall so I assume they host that on Fridays.Wheelchair accessible - saw a patron with a full size wheel chair navigating the store & bathrooms appeared wheelchair sized (dont recall if bathrooms had the handicap assist bars).Employees and patrons were all friendly while I was there.

They may host games here, have tables for you to come in and play on; but the atmosphere is extremely tense. If youre not a continual customer, expect to get treated as an outsider. The guy behind the main counter, stayed there in his seat until I had to come up to get an answer to a question. Ill stick up my normal gaming place.
