Drove by this place a hundred times, always wondered about it. Its fully open to the public and an awesome place to shop if you want really high quality at a wholesale price. I bought raw, breaded, IQF Perch fillets, thick onion rings, they had several sizes and quality, sweet potato fries, calamari, and a $10 gallon of canola oil.I also bought a couple bags of lemonade and hot chocolate powder, they are 2 gal size foil bags, but the price is great ànd the quality is better than the national brand.When I say better quality I basically mean shorter ingredient list and superior taste.The raw pre breaded frozen foods were all deep fried in a half gallon or $5 of canola oil that I can pour off and reuse several times because these High Quality Frozen Foods leave almost no loose breading.Never seen anything like it folks.I fried 2+ pounds of frozen breaded foods and had maybe 1 Tbs of loose breading in the bottom of the cast iron and it was all large pieces I could scoop out with a spoon and also probably my own fault for stirring too much or early, etc.If you fry food get a thermometer, I fry in a huge cast iron pan with a old school thermometer, maybe cost me $10, 15 yrs ago.I cooked everything at 350°f when I dropped it but because I have only 1/2 gal of oil the cooking time on the package has to be extended by maybe 20-50% depending on how much your oil drops in temperature when you add frozen foods.These are for restaurant fryer that holds maybe 5 gallons of oil and automatically controls temperature. None of the fried foods come salted, You must salt them heavily as soon as possible after being fried, or serve unsalted fried foods.This is the difference, most non-national chain restaurants get some or all of their menu from this company.Being able to control doneness and salt/ seasoning while getting wholesale restaurant quality and pricing?They have about 6 different types and prices of frozen onion rings.Makes you realize that when you get soggy limp onion rings they just dont care, because the cost difference is like .20 cents per serving.Walk through this place, but be wary of large containers that requires refrigeration after opening unless you have a walk in or are prepared to have multiple fridges and/or freezers.

Excellent store for bulk food selection. Prices are always affordable. Sale items are frequent and very well priced. Fold quality is above average. Store is always clean. Staff is polite, friendly, and helpful.

We have a mask mandate and only one of the employees here was wearing a mask today. Reported to corporate and the health department.

Ive been coming to the store for a lot of years and while the staff changes,their commitment to doing a great job does not. I was in late at night and greeted as soon as I entered, very pleasant and appropriate young man. Did my shopping and on the way to checkout, here he was,...floors are being scrubbed with a commercial machine which he is also running. Sanitizing wipes and protocols all properly available.

Love the food there, I recommend getting the rib eye steaks and their chicken wings .taco meat.

It is never crowded and the employees are very helpful.

GFS staff is friendly and helpful. They have online orderly and you can have your groceries brought to your car. Weve been shopping her for twenty years, and they have been great during the pandemic

Great place for office snacks

Weve been doing curbside service here since the pandemic srarted and it is outstanding. The meat and produce is noticibly better than Marianos and the selection is pretty good.The biggest differentiator is the customer service. If an item is out of stock or damaged the amount of care they put into communicating and making it right is honestly amazing.Could not reccomend more highly.

This is a great hidden gem. They offer a wide variety of products and great customer service. There is no membership fees if you dont see something they can order it from thier warehouse most product come with in a day. They have restaurant quality foods.

You’d think a “business” would be there to make money and sell products. I needed one more item and when my cashier asked the “boss lady?” she said in a very “too busy” tone.. “You’ll have to give me 5 minutes I have 5 pallets to unload” Ya know what??? What’s the point in unloading pallets if you aren’t willing to sell the product(s)? I said “Never mind, I don’t have 5 minutes.” She did change her tune pretty quickly but forget it. It’s just ridiculous. And they wonder why stores struggle to stay in business.

Manager on duty 12/28 was walking around the entire store without his mask on, breathing on carts and products. Disgusting. Wont be back if your staff wont wear masks during Covid-19. Unreal, unprofessional, and unacceptable.

I live downtown and its the only grocery store in area, good food, helpful staff, every now and then you can get a great deal on things.

What a wonderful discovery for large parties and some small ones too! The food was awesome and convenient. Gordon Foods made our Taco party an easy fun success.

Gordons is one of the most efficient places to order from for pick up.

Restaurant stock up store quantities pretty large but ideal to split in families. Good place for residential customers also. Entertainment supplies and foods.

Great Pies and other desserts

Good pricing and a lot of items to choose from. They have a flyer with coupons and sales that you should really checkout before heading here. Its also bulk so be prepared for 5 lbs of BBQ pulled pork or 10lbs of fries.

Great store. Looking to save money, yet your prices were somewhat higher. Still a good places to shop.

They had signs up stating facemask are required but yet they allowed customers to come in without them and employees did not have them on at the registers.

The staff was not very interested in providing customer service unless approached. I waited a while to check out while two stockers talked knowing I was waiting.

Manager was blocking the middle of the isle with a vendor and would not move to make a path for customers. Had to go all the way around. Was willing to let it go once. But when he was Just talking to another person in another isle and would not move to let me through that was just being rude.

Like going here because they have great deals and the customer service is fantastic!
