If I could give zero stars I would! In March of 2018, we surprised my best friend to check our dresses while we was on a girls trip! We had a great time and she actually found her dress there. As time went on things seemed to be going great. She flew back for her measurements and was told that her dress will be delivered in time for her wedding in May 2019. But its now the end of April and my friend hasnt received a tracking number or any information regarding when she will receive her dress!! We have been calling, leaving voicemails and no response! This is so disheartening, stressful, and inconsiderate! This is mind blowing!! Now my friend is looking for another option because she doesnt know if the dress will be here in time! Now she probably wont be walking down the aisle in her dream dress!
Please bare with me, this may be rather long. If I could give zero stars, I would.I visited this shop in May of 2017 with my mom & 2 of my sisters. We found the perfect dress that day for my 2018 wedding & paid the deposit. Due to some unforeseen hardships the wedding was postponed till July 2019. I started calling the shop at the end of March 2019, remembering what the owner told me about it only taking 6-8 weeks for the dress to be made. It took me close to a week before I spoke to anyone after leaving several voicemails. I finally spoke to the owner who told me that the dress I picked was discontinued in December, but she would call the supplier to see if they could still produce the one I wanted. She also told me she was in the process of selling to her assistant & I called just in time for her to clear her books (1st sign of a problem). After about 3-4 days we spoke again & she reassured me that they could still produce it. On April 7th, Since my measurements stayed the same, we proceeded with paying for the remainder of the dress over the phone & I was emailed a receipt & told the dress should be in by the end of May. This was great. However, after receiving no calls by the end of May I started calling the shop. I finally spoke to the owner in June & she assured me that the dress was still processing & would be here in 3-4 weeks. She stated I would have the dress on time. I started secretly panicking. My wedding planner called the shop numerous times during this 3-4 week period & got no answer. I finally called at the end of June asking for a refund so I could go else where to get a dress, but I was told the dress had shipped & was expected for delivery 7/5/19. On 7/3/19 I asked for tracking info which I never received. Finally I got a call back saying my dress was in, but I couldnt pick it up because she was out of town & the dress had delivered to her house. I was frustrated. I suggested picking it up from her house then she told me her assistant could meet me. She gave me her assistants number who was coming from out of town. We agreed to meet that day only for me to show up at the shop I went to in 2017, which was no longer theirs. We got to the right location & got the dress minus the sash which was still in route. Got home, took the dress fully out & it was the wrong dress. I texted the assistant who agreed to help as much as she could. She had me meet with a seamstress on the 5th, big nothing could be done. So we met at the shop that following Monday to try on the dress on the rack. This dress was entirely too big & had to have close to $400 worth of alterations to have it fit me, plus the numerous stains from it being tried on. I also got the sash that day which was wrong. During all this I never spoke to the owner, all she did was text the assistant & they tried their hardest I make me pay for the alterations. After 30mins of going back & forth they agreed. The seamstress took the dress with her & I got it back 2 days before my wedding on the 12th. The seamstress told me while picking up her dress she still hadnt been paid by the shop for the alterations. This was the most stressful time of my life. Having to travel 50 mins one way on numerous occasions & not receive any money back for the inconvenience & ending up with a used dress when I paid for a new one was very difficult.

Being a plus size woman with some insecurities about my body, I was more nervous than excited about shopping for my wedding dress. I thought I would have to pay a ridiculous amount for a nice dress in my size. Im so glad I found Curvique while searching online. I had such a great experience there. There was a great selection of dresses at very reasonable prices, all made for us curvy brides. Kameisha had a very fun personality and was very helpful and knowledgeable about wedding gowns. She had my waist looking so snatched, I had to say yes to dress! Lol. Please check this place out!
