I recently bought the pricey Taste of Austin collection, which claimed to have very interesting flavor combinations, for my wife. After trying the first piece, which we were but sure which flavor it was since the inside of the box does not indicate what youre about to try, we couldnt make out what the flavor was suppose to be. And after every other chocolate we tried, we, unfortunately, felt the same. One would think that a flavor combination, like jalapeno ranch, would be pretty discernable but that one and every other one we tried just tasted like chocolate. The intrigue of all the flavor profiles is there, but the end product did not deliver.
Great product and wonderful service! I bought truffles for my mom and Nicole went above and beyond to take care of me! I will be buying all of my fancy chocolates here going forward!
I had a great experience with Delysia’s at a virtual chocolate & wine tasting event at work... and I ordered chocolates for a friends’ Christmas gift ... in both occasions the product and service were outstanding!
Im not a chocolate person. Not at all. The gift selection I purchased went over HUGE though. The way they have sweet up for tasting sessions is there real deal. If you want to learn about fine chocolates, this is the place.
Tucked in a little business center off anderson mill West of 620 is a chocolate haven. Driven by a unique personality, the woman who is the proprietor has a fantastic story to tell. Award winning chocolate to be had in fact chocolate so good you can age it to meld the great ingredients. Totally excellent and unique combinations concocted by a lady who has an allergy to chocolate. Which means she has a nose non pareil! Go and explore and learn the whole story your palate will thank you!!!
Weve visited the small chocolatier in its unusual business park location off Anderson Mill in Cedar Park several times. Today was an especially good visit because we discovered the cayenne hot chocolate
Incredibly inviting to visit - everyone was very friendly and the experience was awesome. The chocolate is amazing. Be prepared to pay a premium price, but you truly are getting premium quality chocolates. Loved it!
The egg painting event was lots of fun! My son had a great time. They have a photo booth with some fun props and wine for mom! He loved the box of small chocolates we bought. The flavor combinations were unique and yummy!
I really enjoyed the chocolate, especially the Ghost Pepper and Mexican Hot Chocolate (I’m a big Spicy guy)!!! The ladies there are also really nice and were welcoming. Would recommend this chocolate and chocolatier for any future projects or just for a deluxe chocolate tasting.
We had a fantastic visit at Delysia. We were able to choose 3 pieces, and each option was a unique take on the flavor combinations, from the Green Tea to the Lavender Milk Chocolate, to the Apple Pie. I highly recommend stopping in for a tasting and leaving with a box of truffles... Or 3. Thats what we did.
Delicious chocolate and wonderful service from Kayla. She made me feel incredibly welcome and helped me choose which chocolates to surprise my boyfriend with for New Years. My only comment is that it seems irresponsible for the owner to leave one person alone to serve a room full of people on tasting days. I was waiting for almost 30 minutes to make a purchase because of it. It also would have been nice to meet the person who I was buying $40 worth of candy from. A great place to go if you’re hankering for something sweet, but I feel terrible for the one person who was manning the entire operation by herself.
Had a delicious tasting here earlier today. Becca was very nice and informative about their different truffles and barks. They have more traditional flavors along with some unique ones.
My husband and I loved this place. So many different options to choose from. Love the set up. Everything looks so sleek and modern, even the restroom! The only thing I thought was cheesy was their labeling. It was handwritten. While I normally wouldnt care about such a small detail, it just threw me off considering everything in the location was so modern. I would have expected a label machine or something. The location was odd.. bunch of warehouses. But the experience was great and the chocolates were delicious!
Delicious. Good service. A bit expensive but its a wonderful experience with quality offerings. Wine tasting room next door.
With such a wide variety of flavors to choose from and free samplings, theres not much more you could ask for in a chocolatier. The location is very minimalist and pleasing to the eye and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. This place is truly amazing and I cant wait to visit it again.
Very high-quality chocolate; after one of their tastings, we ended up getting right boxes in total 🍫
Delysia is an experience brand, not a candy store. Candy you can get anywhere. If your taste has matured beyond Walmart chocolate covered cherries and the hunks of peanut brittle sold behind fingerprint smeared glass at the mall, its time to put a visit to Delysia on the calendar. Nichole, Chef Owner & Chocolatier, invites you to come to the shop and be treated to a complimentary fine chocolate tasting. Her staff will take you back to the kitchen and bring you a sample of the best they have available. Not a tiny scrape on a spoon or dried scrap pierced with a toothpick. No! A white china sample tray with three pieces of their best product, just for you and only for you, at no charge to you. My wife and I stood in that kitchen, literally feeling like Charlie in the amazing eponymous factory, tasting the finest chocolate in the country. Theres a TV movie from the UK called Poirot: Theft of the royal ruby in which the main character buys a kilo of chocolate from a Belgian chocolate shop. The shop owner places one piece on a plate, and Poirot first tastes and then delights in the treat with an expression of pure pleasure. I have always wanted to experience that. Even though I know it was only play acting, by golly I have always wanted to experience something like that. And at Delysia I FINALLY got the chance. I was there and it happened and I bought three very nicely decorated boxes of the best chocolate ever. My wife and I sit close on the couch, pour a glass of wine, and share our treats from Delysia together. I apologize to you, the reader of this review, for how corny this is going to sound: Delysia chocolates have raised the bar of romance for us. The whole experience from visiting the shop, picking out our treats, the packaging, the delightful presentation, the texture and especially the flavor. Oh, you havent experienced anything like this. But I hope you will.
Nicole is making some of the most incredible chocolates Ive ever tasted out of her new studio in northwest Austin. The chocolates are so fresh and the flavors are so inventive! The space is state of the art, and its hard to believe Nicole is turning out all of that deliciousness on her own. Really, one of the most talented chocolatiers in Austin and definitely worth a look.
The variety of chocolate was amazing. Flavors I had never seen. The factory was clean, and the staff were so friendly. Very very impressed.
Friendly, clean, well organized, cute set up inside. Many fun and unique packages for any occasion. Expensive at over $4/truffle.
Delicious, educational, samples and fun chocolate shop!
Tasty local made chocolate. Very romantic atmosphere. Does chocolate tastings.
I absolutely love Delysia products! The truffle flavors are one of a kind. Ive used Delysia to enhance my events (my favorite: gourmet smores featuring champagne marshmallows) as well as client gifts.
Ive used Delysia Chocolatier now for 2 years and LOVE her custom work and product! Ive even referred her to clients and other events industry professionals. When I come across great product and service, I like to share it...call her today!
Fabulous chocolate! Very creative in the objects they create. For example, cowboy boots, semi trucks.
I didnt think the chocolate was all that great. Ive had way better for the price. It was very expensive and it kinda tasted like wax.
Staff were great! We had a great time watching our son and the other kids decorating Easter Eggs.
Wonderful variety of chocolate. Playful flavor mixtures creatively packaged in a beloved confection.
Well deserved award winning chocolates. Delicious!!
Simply put - Delysia Chocolatier delivers - the best chocolates, truffles and bark you have ever tasted and true professionalism hard to find in many retail businesses.I recently had the opportunity to attend the Delysia open house being met with a glass of sparkling wine, over sized photos of the owner and her family and a table full of chocolates to sample. First we tried some of the amazing truffles filled with exciting flavors and decorated to pure beauty. The truffles come in collection such as Asian, Coffee, Salted, Latin, Tea, Valentines and on and on.Along with the table of exquisite truffles were some large pieces of chocolate bark, delicious chunks of milk and dark chocolates flavored with spices, nuts, peanut butter and combinations thereof (can you say smore?). My favorite, hands down, was the Ghost Pepper Bark, not always available and not for the faint of heart!Nicole Patel, the creator and chief chocolatier at Delysia, has left nothing to chance - her kitchen is impeccable, her decor stunning and her chocolates simply the best you may ever have.Cheers,Marshall Jones
Beautiful chocolate! Great for a gift or a special treat.
Stopped by for a tasting and left with an assortment of chocolate barks for a bourbon tasting at my house. Needless to say, the chocolate was a hit and everyone wanted to know more about Delysia. Thanks again to Nicole and her staff for their hospitality... :)
