They have very delicious, fluffy donuts and the jalepeno kolaches actually have a kick. Nice little quick grab and go breakfast place.

The service and food quality is great here at Crown Donuts. I usually come in around afternoon time so I always have tempered expectations in terms of available donuts but they always exceed these expectations. The glazed donuts taste amazing and the kolaches are good (though I have minimal reference points for kolaches).

Got donuts here this morning. They gave me free donut holes. I havent even tasted the donuts yet but the free donut holes are the best Ive ever had. It may be gluttonous but I finished the bag off in less than 10 minutes.

Best donut shop in Austin!I LOVE Crown Donuts. Their donuts are tasty and not super greasy like other donut shops. They have donuts, kolaches, and breakfast tacos. The staff is wonderful. For filled donuts, you pick your donut and then they fill it with your choice of 7 fillings. I like them so much that they’re the only donut shop I go to.

My favorite donut shop in NW Austin. The donuts are soft, delicious, and fresh. They fill them at the time of order, however you would like them.Kolaches and breakfast tacos are very good as well. The breakfast tacos have chives diced up and cooked in the egg, which adds a lot of flavor.The lady behind the counter is always super nice and usually gives a small bag of donut holes extra, for free. Thats not unheard of, but a nice touch none the less. Highly recommended.

YUM! we usually go to the shipleys donuts that is near crown donut, but today we decided to try Crown...it was tasty. The kids loved the donut even the cake donuts. They were moist not at all crumbly. They just started offering breakfast tacos made with homemade tortillas. I tried the sausage egg and cheese it was very good. i usually am not a fan of sausage because of the spices, but they put the right ratio of egg, cheese and sausage that it was not over powering. YUM!!!!! we will be back!

I love this place! Their kolaches are great, and their donuts taste so much better than all the chain donut joints. I bought a maple bar the other day and was asked if I wanted it freshly filled with cream, which was A+.

Love their apple fritters. They make them the way fritters are supposed to be (ask that it be heated up). Not like Dunkin Donuts where an apple fritter is just a filled donut with apple filling. Also, for filled donuts Crown injects your filling choice fresh when you purchase it rather than it sitting there for hours with the filling.

The quality of the food there is top-tier and the service is amazing. Best part is, you dont have to pay a premium for such amazing kolaches and donuts.

Blueberry cake donut was great! I even got some free donut holes with my dozen donuts! Great service! I will definitely go back.

The green donut is my favorite. Its actually flavored with green apple. The donut is so good, airy, but moist and so amazing. Buy all of the donuts!

Stopped by chance and Im happy we did. The breakfast tacos were good and the dont were too. The staff was very friendly. We will stop again when traveling through Lufkin.

This is the only donut shop I go to.Ive forged a great connection with the wonderful lady who works the front, and they are always excited to see me.They really make me feel excited to spend money, because they treat me like they want it.Gratitude and smiling faces from the moment I walk in to the moment I walk out.Also, they give free donut holes for any fair sized order (I think its supposed to be $10+ but sometimes I get it anyways.)If you show up after 12pm (they close at 1pm), donuts are half off!Hello breakfast for lunch!

The are many great doughnuts made in Austin without question. If you were to consider looking at doughnuts as you do many other food groups like say steak. Many cuts of steak are great, Prime Rib, Prime Strip, Prime Filet, Prime Rib Eye, etc. Just like steak, doughnuts all have a little different bite, flavor, and feel to them which provide the consumer so many varieties and flavors...All Prime meats are by definition the best of that particular cut of meat with a few exceptions. In the case of Crown, They too are one of the very best doughnuts money can buy and well worth a try. Do they replace Krispy Kreme Hot Doughnuts Now no way. However, they are a great addition...

Filled donut...with a jalapeño cheese dog? Um skeptical at first. Hot dog in the middle of a donut/roll. It looks like a pig in a blanket where Im from. Which is also confusing. Well get over it because its Surprisingly delicious.This is one of the few places/coffee shops open at 6 am in Lakeway. Filled donut and coffee for $3. Wish they had WiFi.

These are hands down my favorite doughnuts in Austin. There are 3 other doughnut shops within a short driving distance (Shipleys, Krispy Kreme and Ms. Doughnuts), but Crown are the best -- to me they taste just like the Southern Maid that I loved growing up.
