Typical Shipleys. Has both the store and a drive thru. Donuts are the same Shipleys standards. Yeast donuts are risen tall and frosted well. Filled donuts are smaller, heavily glazed, and well filled with cream or fruit.Employees dont seem particularly interested in customers though.

The women who work here live with infinite amounts of attitude. Every single time. No customer service skills. The donuts are most often dry and or inconsistent. But, I was out Sunday walking and decided to stop in. Mistake.. the apparent queen of donuts was mad that I dared to try to walk up to the door while they’re still open and ask a question. They close the inside hours before they close.. apparently, but also close it earlier than it’s posted… the previous three times. So I wanted to ask why. She met me at the door to let me know… the customer… that I was an issue for asking questions about them being closed when they’re open……. Then after she realized I was trying to.. you know.. be a customer. She asked if I wanted to buy. I asked her why I would now.. so she threatened me as I walked away.. three times. Telling me I needed Jesus? I was 100+ feet walking away on the sidewalk not talking to her.. but she reopens the door and says she’s calling the cops? Are you insane? All I did was try to be a patron and understand the nature of the inconsistency of this location. No point. I’ll just go to the other donut shops on that corner. This shop can rot. It looks like it is anyway. Old and gross.

I am a regular customer of this location and order donut and coffee on drive. However lately the staff lady was rude and doesn’t want to put sugar and cream in my coffee. So I had to do it myself while in drive. When I go there and it is the boy staff, he would be nice and do it for me. Which I appreciate.This morning when I order coffee it was the staff lady again and she still doesn’t want to accommodate me and put cream and sugar in my coffee like any other chain location on drive would do (think Starbucks, Mc Donald and do on) so I told her that other staff would do that. She replied that she doesn’t want to do it for me just because it is me. She can choose whoever she wants to put sugar and coffee that to.It is a clearly a discrimination. I can’t believe she said that and the manager there didn’t say anything and doesn’t offer to help.

Great service, great products, and they were stocked unlike a place down the road. Will definitely come here from now on.

The glazed donut was good. The Kolaches were too bready and cheese too salty. The donut holes tasted old. The Apple fritter and cherry jelly donut were good.

They were out of orange juice and my boyfriend stole my donut I know its not their fault but I was deeply negatively impacted by the treachery

This really feels like maybe too high of a rating, but the prices and service are just too good. The quality of food and coffee is by no means awe inspiring. The donuts and kolaches are traditional. Not to say they are fantastic, just that you know exactly what youre going to get. The coffee is rather weak. But all of these mediocre aspects fly out the window when youre paying five dollars for a sizable amount of food. The lack of frills not only allows for low prices, but also rapid service. You can be in and out of shipleys in maybe five to ten minutes. At the end of the day its what I want from a donut shop.

Ordered on a delivery app and recieved by far the most disappointing Kolaches I have ever had. Potatos cut into thick, uncooked slices and undercooked bacon & egg to go with it. Eating these was a mistake and I feel sick.

We ordered a specific set of a dozen donuts and half a dozen kolaches all of which were wrong. We got half a dozen regular kolaches (just sausage and bread) when we ordered country sausage, cheese, and egg. AND we didn’t get any of the donuts we ordered, just their mix. We asked for a refund for the $25 order and were given $15. Save yourselves the trouble and go to another Shipley’s.

I’m pretty sure that just by walking into this wonderful donut scented shop that I now have diabetes. It smells fantastic! This Shipley’s location does an amazing job at keeping a multitude of donut flavors as well as cinnamon rolls and kolaches. I grew up with Shipley’s and glazed (yeast) donuts straight out of the oven are my favorite.Everyone at this location is beyond nice and attentive. You couldn’t ask for better service.

We are in the midst of a Pandemic. Travis county is at a level 5. So for me the ladies not wearing gloves while completing orders is a no for me. I saw one of the ladies with glasses small build touch her mask to pull it up then walked over to pour coffee grab a top to cover the coffee with the same hand she touched her mask with wearing no gloves. When they use the tissue to grab the donuts it doesnt cover the donut completely or their hand completely..... The manager really needs to address this.

No waiting, great employees, and gotten my donuts, they even had a pink sprinkles for my great grand daughter.

Food quality was fine. Actually the donuts were amazing. But let’s move past the styrofoam cups, people. There are plenty of comparably price biodegradable options. Coffee from styrofoam cheapens the experience. Makes me feel like I’m drinking gas station coffee.

This is my second attempt at getting donuts and the second time I arrived at the window with the same women NOT wearing a mask. She gave an excuse that she has one but was about to close so wasn’t wearing it. This was within 20 min of closing. I am sorry, but this reflects poorly on the company. She obviously doesn’t care about healthy practices. I am not okay with no masks, walking around and handling food. We love Shipley, but unless they can clean up their standards, we will not be visiting again in a long time.

I only come here for my daughter- she likes to eat inside. Doughnuts are good but the service is sketchy. Smile...be polite-you have a job you applied for...you closecat 2 but are locking everything down at 12....hmmmmm

I took my daughter to grab some donuts this AM as the city continues to battle against the threat of Covid-19. The worker at the window was wearing her mask around her neck with her nose and mouth both exposed as she leaned out the window to listen to my order. I asked her if she was going to wear the mask. In my frustration with her carelessness, I probably sounded rude and I clearly offended her based on the heavy stare that she gave me. I should have simply and directly asked her to wear her mask for the safety of my family. I apologized to her for the way that I must have sounded. She was very rude before and after my apology. We wont be back to this location.

They do not wear masks and when politey asked to wear a mask they will come up with an excuse like I am busy. This was not once but many times they do not take covid seriously here.

I went to this location on Wednesday of this week and they messed up my order. I contacted corporate and told to return to the store, for a refund and show them the email as confirmation. I go on today to redeem the coupon Im told very loudly, that they dont take coupons or anything via email. The lady was rude and loud, which was very embarrassing. The lady went on to say, the email must have came from corporate not them, so they couldnt honor it. I asked her, yall dont honor instructions from corporate? She replied she didnt know if that coupon was got there store or not. What difference would it make anyway? Mind you this is the same lady who messed my order up on Wednesday. I am definitely contacting corporate again.

Stopped by to get a cinnamon roll and there was no cinnamon in it. The Anderson Lane location has much better donuts, rolls, etc.

Just another Shipley’s location... WRONG! This is one of the best in the area! They have the best made kolaches out of most of them. When I go to other locations it is so disappointing because they are either burnt, hard, barely have any cheese, and so on. But, whenever I get them from this location, they are always hot, soft, and have plenty of cheese! The ladies are always nice and smile. I only go to this location these days.

This a great location and you can never go wrong with donuts and kolaches...

As for the lady that went to get doughnuts with her children stay home.food is good but with so many people with out work the prices at shipleys went up not cool. I’ll just go to the other place a little further but don’t mind the drive on Sunday morning.

This is really the best donut shop for miles. It is very clean, I can tell this working there take pride in their work and do well. Right before school especially on Friday, the lines can be long but they are very speedy so dont worry about the line even if it is out the door. The drive thru is also quick. There is a $3 minimum for paying with card.

Always friendly staff that are always smiling, making you feel better about the copious amounts of sugar your about to eat. Which are very good by the way. The menu has a very simple set up. Its not complicated at all. Just the way a morning should be.

Randomly stopped here for breakfast while traveling through town. I was not disappointed! Great donuts! Friendly and fast service with a big selection of donuts to choose from.

They dont wear gloves here. When the lady prepared my coffee, she pressed The coffee lid down with her bare hands. I had to ask for another cup so I wouldnt have to drink from the one she touched.

Ask for fresh glazed donuts--you wont be disappointed. I had never been here before, but a friend of mine who is from Houston swore by this place. It was great! Easy parking, packed, but totally worth it once I tasted the glazed goodness in my mouth.

The donut was good but the staff there today made our first Shipley experience a bad one. There were 3 ladies there screaming in Spanish. One of them helped us and checked us out. We had planned on sitting down to enjoy our first Shipley Donuts but the environment was so awful we left :/ A shame really.

Shipleys is a family go-to, essentially a line item in the monthly budget. On serious days we enjoy the kolaches and on fun days we enjoy the do-nuts.

Tasty doughnuts at an affordable price. Service is fast and friendly.

Good donuts. Really cheap. My only gripe was the cake donut had crunchy parts like it wasnt mixed enough. It had good flavor. The other donuts were good.

If you come in here near the end of the shift, lower your expectations for whats left on the shelf. The only thing is, Ive seen them preparing to close down 2-3 hours in advance, it would seem. Lets say they are closing at 2, by about 11, the workers seems to start caring less. Donut quality here is good, but I would not get the coffee.

I normally stop for a donut and coffee.. today I tried the supposedly Big Earl with cheese kolache big disappointment.. 7-Eleven has bigger kolaches for half the price learn my lesson... but the staff is always very friendly and makes you feel welcomed

Great donuts if you can get the counter people to focus. Girl was more concentrated on looking around than selling me donuts. Super rude. Gave me wrong milk and donuts. Manager fixed milk and hopefully recognized issue.

This a good quality donuts. I usually get 2 sprinkle donuts for the kids (Homer Simpson style) and a dozen randoms for the office and it turns out being $10.00. They are always fast and fresh.

Donuts are so-so customer service is slow and not great. Pretty much any other donut place is probably a better choice.

Shipleys is my go to place when Krispy Kreme is not around. If I could give Krispy Kreme six stars I would. Without a doubt the best donuts Ive had. But thats just my opinion.

Their Kolaches are always fresh and hot! Service is great and they are super fast. They sell out fast though.

Best donuts in the city. Period. Light and fluffy like a cloud of sugar. Kolaches are decent, nothing special but the donuts make up for it. Open very early, service is good, always cleaning.

Decent place for donuts but the people behind the counter began arguing with each other after I sat down to eat. Not sure if they realized I was there or not but it made things uncomfortable to stay. I will not be going back.

I buy my kolaches, and always ask them to put in microwave for 30 seconds, they always respond the same theyre already hot!. I like my food hot when I eat it. Not almost hot, not warm, hot! Just do it. I only eat the ham and cheese kolaches, they do not taste as great when they are warm as compared to hot. Thanks!

Best Donuts in town (with exception of them donuts on 6th and the donuts in neighboring town that are buttery yellow in color) But Shipleys is the best place to get conventional donuts. This location is very clean and staff is super friendly. Clean restrooms also.

The food is great if you go in the morning. However, if you show up within 40 minutes of closing they will stand around and tell you they’re closed (even though they aren’t) and it would only take 2 or 3 minutes to serve someone their food, I guess they’d rather just stand around.

Yummy donuts with drive-thru service! I go with the classic glazed donut or the cinnamon twist. When ordering inside, be sure to start off with how many donuts you plan to buy, otherwise you end up with two small boxes and two bags for two dozen donuts. The line can get a little long, but it moves fast. Just throw in a few donut holes with your order--delish!

First timer here, I stopped in because it was by my house and I love doughnuts. The shop is a little run down, the staff isnt the friendliest, the lady who checked me out sneezed all over herself/hands and continued to fill my order. I order 3 items: a sausage and cheese kolache (the sausage was smaller than a hotdog, and tasted like one), a cream cheese filled donut (it is not cream cheese, but this weird filling, I scooped it out), and a maple glazed donut with bacon on top (the best choice of all three). Overall, it was a weird vibe and I wont be returning. I rated them two stars because the items were cheap and the service was quick.

The employees are always nice, some nicer than others.The kolaches are average, the doughnut holes always taste old.I worked close to here so I came often.Last summer-fall the doughnuts would always be hot & fresh. Then sometimes..then rarely..I’ve been in Austin working the month of February, came here probably 10 times. 4 out of 10 the doughnuts were fresh.

Donuts are great. The sausage kolaches are good. However, what got me was the ham, egg, and cheese kolache. It was disgusting. It had cheap quality ham rolled up in it. Now I know most of the time, those come in a crossiant. They had no crossiants. I would have been equally disappointed with the crossiant if it had that ham in it. Apart from that, other food and coffee are great.
