This is a great place to get equippmwnt, I’ve been here several times over the years to check it out. But I don’t understand why the staff is so rude. I keep thinking maybe it’s something I’m doing, I’ve worked in customer service for many years so I understand it can be tough. But staff is SO SO rude, I just asked a question and bought some equipment and they get frustrated with my questions and don’t even offer to help move things or anything. I would give it one less star but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. I just want to know why they acted like they didn’t like me being in their store.

Had a great variety of sports equipment, found exactly what I needed, staff was great also very welcoming, will be returning soon.

This place still requires mask... even if you’re vaccinated. Even after Fauci’s emails released and was completely fraudulent, meaning mask do NOTHING.Not a hard decision to walk away when I was looking to scoop up several kettlebells and bumper plates to complete full size gym. LOLI’ll spend those thousands somewhere else. Also question the quality of products and pricing after seeing a very busted and sad looking tower at the front of the store priced outrageously high. You honestly couldn’t pay ME to purchase that piece of equipment. See photos for reference.Yeah no thanks, bummer. Wont ever be back here again especially with ridiculous liberal agendas that have been proven false and fraudulent. Not gonna support a business with the common sense of a gold fish.

Bought a stop watch. Was told it contained a battery. Wont turn on and theres no way to open it, which it wasnt designed for anyway. Very disappointed.

Play It Again Sports is my go-to sports equipment supplier for my familys sporting goods. I have three boys that have all played many seasons of baseball, so weve had to buy numerous pants, cleats, gloves, bats, etc. throughout the years. Ive always found great equipment at Play It Again and theyve even bought back a lot of the used equipment that we could no longer use as my boys outgrew it. The customer service is great, and since COVID, theyve really expanded their online offerings now, so its even easier to check current supply and order online. I do wish their hours would expand again to what they were pre-COVID, but Ill keep shopping here. The prices cant be beat.

EDIT: Im sorry you justify selling other peoples property by saying that a loosely defined community is all in agreement with your policy. I disagree and stated that when I was there but agreed to pay for my disc and get out. If an actual mistake had been made at the register then Im not sure why the manager didnt say Oh thats a mistake instead of throwing down the disc on the counter and calling me profanities in front of other customers. Can you really not see how that last part would leave me upset?--Sells stolen product and told me I have to buy my own stuff back even with proof that it’s mine. His logic was literally “if someone found this and returned it to you wouldn’t you give them a reward?” Sure, but that’s not what happened here at all. He told me it would be $3 and then rang it up for $4, I don’t care about the dollar or the $4 in general but why say one price and charge another ? When I asked why the price went up the manager used profanity directed at me in front of a store full of customers... Go to disc nation on slaughter, so much better than this place.

Play It Again Spiets was excellent. Friendly service and awesome prices for like-new gear. Getting my son ready for his first year of football was going to be near impossible at all new prices, but buying slightly broken in fits our budget and he can play!

As a parent of 3 active kids, this place is a godsend. Great selection of team sports equipment, some used and some new. Friendly staff. In my experience they have been very flexible with exchanges when I buy the wrong product. Great selection of disc golf discs, baseball bats, and weightlifting gear.

A wonderful place to get weights or sport supplies. I buy most of my weight lifting equipment here.

Though I did not buy anything, this Play It Again Sports had EVERYTHING, especially disc golf supplies. If you are looking for used sporting goods at a reasonable price check the place out first. The staff was very friendly too.

Great shop, two locations in Austin. I shop there for disc golf things. Can find some good used discs and bags in there.

By far the absolute worst store to go to to buy any sports equipment manager is a complete jerk with no sense of customer service literally walking around for 10 minutes passing by him multiple times with not one word from him to ask me if I needed help or anything

These guys have been really nice and professional the few times Ive been in. Bird, in particular, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all the disc golf discs. Im a beginner and he spent a lot of time helping me and really taught me a lot about selecting discs.
