While the kite store is small, the staff know the industry. They focus on single line kites, and they offer a selection of dual line kites and a relatively inexpensive entry-level quad line kite the company designed. Knocked off a star because they dont carry many of the major brands and have very few advanced or trick kites, they stock what the local market generally wants: inexpensive high quality kites for families wanting some sky art.
Great kite store. Definitely go here if you need a kite for the festival. If not, they setup a shop at the festival. The owner is great and super helpful if you need it
We wanted a quality kite for our grandsons first. One that would be a stable flier in a wide range of winds and would last him a while. It also had to be easily pack-able so there wouldnt be a problem getting it into a suitcase. Greg suggested a New Tech Pocket Sled and it turned out to be perfect.Wed resisted the temptation to try the kite out before Christmas, then Christmas day was calm. At that point we were wishing we had flown it - just to see. But Saturday had more than enough wind and it performed beautifully.I recommend them highly and, unless you know exactly what you want, ask for suggestions. They know their stuff.
This place is such a gem, I got fantastic help and their selection is awesome!! Quality place.
I went here to buy my son a kite, it turned out defected. We went to return it and the gentleman there exchanged the kite at no charge and opened the product to examine the quality and make sure it was all intact. Very pleased
Good kites. Good selections. Great store.
My favorite Austin store for racket-related purchases.
Buy a 75 ft. Chinese dragon kite!
Very good place, find the best kites
