The Lamps Plus at the Arboretum in Austin, TX gives superior service, a variety of quality products and value as well. I have ordered wall mirrors and lamps from them. Mark assembled the floor lamp for me in advance of pickup and helped get it safely in my car. Great guy! Anissa, the store manager, was very friendly and explained the generous return policy. I would definitely recommend shopping here.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is a neat place to visit and find unusual items. The pricing is in line with other retail places selling similar items. However, other places do not have the selection Lamps Plus does. I recommend coming here first to save time and money when looking for fans and lights. This place is the best.

Lamps Plus is a great store. I have bought several things from them over the years & have always enjoyed excellent products & customer service. I recently purchased 2 Minka ceiling fans to replace the Hunter fans on my patio. They are outstanding! 8 blades. 6 speeds. They move some serious air in this Texas heat! 1st visit: young lady was helpful and knowledgeable. We werent quite ready to buy, so we left. 2nd visit 2 weeks later: our product is now $200 more expensive. Our (different) sales associate says Yeah, all the prices have gone up. We point out that it is still available for the original price online at Home Depot, Lowes and Amazon. Her response: Good Luck with that.Glad the store is doing so well they can dismiss customers like that, without trying to match or even so much as suggesting when their next sale may be.

Great service, beautiful store. We went there for a patio ceiling fan. Just to look. They had the brand (Minka) that I had decided on in stock. We walked out with a fan rather than ordering online from a home retailer. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I Bought a giant metal fan on clearance last September. It took me a few weeks to install and it had a big low cycle hum. I thought it was my installation job. 6 months later, I had an electrician out to do a job and asked him to look at the fan. He said the capacitor was bad and it needed a new motor. I called customer service, explained my story and what do you know...they sent me a new motor for free a few days later. I’m still somewhat shocked that there are businesses that still do this kind of thing!! A million thank you’s to lamps plus and your wonder staff for helping me out! New motor works great and no hum. I highly recommend their service and great selection.

Just went into your location and was treated as if I didn’t belong and couldn’t “afford” to be there! The sales lady Teri made me feel like trash! Can’t even believe I’m writing this out. Her attitude towards us and lack of customer service really made us leave. We drove across the way to Ferguson and gladly paid more and we were appreciated and ordered the lights we wanted. Will never take any of my customers there or recommend this place.

It has been almost two months Ive been waiting for a fixture part. No recent updates. I located the part myself with quick assistance from LampsPlus online. Looked all over for a chair for my guest bedroom, tried dept. stores, furniture stores, then saw an online add for an adorable chair from Lamps Plus. I called the store and they did not have one in stock, but after speaking with Sharon, she made me so comfortable with the return options and her personal description of the chair (she had sat in it when it was in stock) that I ordered it on line sight unseen. It is just perfect. Sits firm like she said, which is what I wanted, beautiful fabric and workmanship, fast delivery and a great price. I will shop with her again!

Amazing place to buy lighting. Their store is located at the Arboretum which is a pricey shopping center. I thought a fun place to look but has to be expensive. I found out the opposite. Their fixtures are very nice quality and to me being in real estate, I thought they were steals! Beautiful. I bought one light fixture for my daughters room. I took down a ceiling fan and wanted to glam uo her new room. It worked! I am going to be buying street lamps and a large nice entry way fixture soon. I am including photos of the fixture and how it looks in her room.

We are building a house and made a huge order of exterior lights months ago. Lamps Plus has sent all of the lights except 2 huge entry exterior lights. Billing has had the payment pending for weeks and they won’t send them . We have contacted them numerous times and they “don’t know what is going on, corporate is a mess”. If you are building a house I highly recommend you go to another place to purchase because you might be left in a bind!

This place was ok, I found similar fixtures at Lowe’s and Home Depot for less money. Although they have a decent selection here I thought the prices were a little high.The service is OK as long as you don’t go there on a weekend. I’ve been here a couple of times I found a couple of pieces but like I said, for what I paid it was just OK.

We were there to buy 3 ceiling fans with lamps and got very good advice and service. Lamps were delivered at home on time within a few days with no particular problem. I mounted all 3 lamps myself with no difficulty besides the time it took. I was surprised that they did not ask me in the shop whether i would need help with installation though. Maybe this is not a service they are offering?

This store is out of town but I drove out to pick a handful of ceiling fans for our new home. Since it was prewired with switches for a light/fan I asked to see only these choices. The salesman was helpful but the whole experience was disappointing. I ended up double charged and when the fans arrived a week later they did not work with our switches. They said the only solution was to buy new wall switches ($100) and wait another week for shipping. No offer for expedited shipping, nothing.It’s hard to support a brick and mortar store when I could get a better experience/faster delivery doing my own research and shopping online.

Light selection is great but the whole shopping experience was disappointing. One of my orders was missing 2 small pieces. I called and confirmed which pieces were missing but when they came in I received only one missing part (X2). Very disappointed for such expensive lamps.
