The cashier made me remove my mask so he could see my face before allowing me to purchase a bottle of wine. He was at the same time wearing his mask incorrectly below his nose. I suggest the establishment purchase a scanner for IDs so they can start putting their customers health and lives as a priority. I was 31 at the time of the purchase, with a current drivers license, and Austin-Travis county currently at Stage 5 COVID-19 community risk.
