John was amazing. He made sure that I felt comfortable and was getting the best deal for my money. I also shared with him that I would be going back to school. He took the time out and listened to all my concerns and made sure I stayed within budget. Support family owned businesses. They care about you and also want to make sure you get a good nights rest.

I had been putting off buying a new mattress for some time, and The Covid Pandemic postponed it for another year, but it was well worth the wait.First of all, I have purchased a mattress at Factory Mattress before, (once in South Austin and more recently at the Anderson Lane location) and both experiences were excellent.I had done my homework and knew what I wanted, but was on a bit of a budget. Cy was just fantastic. He listened to my preferences, was super knowledgeable and he helped guide me to a great mattress that was in my price range. He was very laid back and made me feel confident and relaxed. When I asked about another mattress that I had read great reviews of online, he asked if I wanted to try it out. It was half again as much as the first one, but it was so comfortable that I just had to splurge and buy it.I also bought a box spring and a good mattress protector. Since I wasn’t sure of the height of my bed frame, (something that is good to know before you purchase a mattress, by the way) Cy kindly offered to let me switch out box springs if the one I purchased was too tall (it was). The Delivery Guys were awesome. They were very polite, careful and nice both times, (as they had to switch out the box springs and come back the next day). All around, I give Cy and Factory Mattress 5 Stars!!!

Went to Factory Mattress and had the bed delivered 2 days later. Great selection. Had plenty of inventory which did not need to be ordered from another city/state. It was a pleasure Keeping Austin Weird by purchasing a bed at a fair price from a locally owned company-- no big company delays and extra charges either.

I have to tell you, Cy is a great professional at his skill and his knowledge of his products. He definitely treated me like a friend then a customer. This company is very blessed to have him. I have great trust in him and he led me to the best knowledge so I could make a good choice for my sleep. Thank you Cy!!!

Really shady practices, returns are only on mattresses but they dont tell you that when you buy pillows, and even on mattresses you have to pay a bunch of extra fees to return. At least be transparent if you dont allow returns, I would have bought off Amazon instead.EDIT: Their response is also shady and incorrect; our purchase was in 2021, we tried to return the item less than 2 weeks from purchase. AVOID

Cy was professional, patient, and informative. He was not a pushy salesman and genuinely tried to find out what helps improve the quality of our sleep by trying different things.

Our salesman was very nice. We bought a king size bed from him that cost 2000.00 dollars, but he did not tell us that we could not get our money back if we had any problems with the bed. As it turned out, after less than a week, the bed sags a lot and has a big hard lump in the center. We called our salesman and discovered that we can only trade it in for a mattress of equal or greater value. We are waiting to hear from the warranty department if they are willing to exchange the mattress. They may not even do that. We had to send them pictures of the mattress and wait a week for their answer. Since we sent the pictures yesterday we are not sure what will happen next.

I purchased a mattress from the Factory Mattress on Anderson Lane in Austin. The service was excellent. Sandra was very patient and professional. The mattress delivery team were very professional. The mattress, box spring and frame were set up in less than 5 minutes.I definitely recommend Factory Mattress.

I had a great experience here! Justin was so helpful and knew exactly what pillows to give us while we tried out mattresses. We ended up choosing a Tempur-Pedic and cannot wait! I also got the pillow he gave me for free with our purchase, plus they are moving our old mattress upstairs for us, and taking an old mattress and box spring out of our home. Highly recommend this place!

My husband and I walked in to buy a mattress wearing the mandatory masks. The lady was helping another customer and when she finished up came over to us. She yelled for my husband to wait before getting on the bed so she could sanitize it(we didn’t know as there was no sign and maybe try a friendly “just a moment sir”). This worker was not wearing a mask by the way. While we did the test, she groaned that she had to go sanitize the beds the other lady touched(why that mattered when she was walking around breathing on everything I have no idea). After the test, she walked us around and was borderline rude/hostile towards us while asking “when we were going to finance?” and getting annoyed when we said a month. Honestly, we are ready to buy now and in cash but there was no way I was going to give that lady a dime. Since there is a mattress store on every other block, best to avoid this one with the surly lady huffing and puffing her gross, hostile germs everywhere.

EXCELLENT service. Not pushy at all. Was very open and honest, and I was told they would match the price of the mattress I wanted if I found it elsewhere, and they HONORED it. I would definitely recommend Factory Mattress if youre shopping for a new bed! Its nice being treated like a human.

Customer experience was great. You can get an assessment of your body to see which mattress is best for you, though I didnt feel as though they showed me just those types of mattress. I ended up choosing a mattress and the sales person was so great to work with me on pricing to meet my budget goal. Ive only been sleeping on it for about a week and a half, but so far so good!

The first time we went into the store, it was excellent customer service. The clerk really wanted to make a sale but also was personable with our family. We did not buy because a holiday was coming up and we knew it would get discounted if we just wait. Well we were right!!! Three weeks later we went back. This time we got a little different service with the same clerk. The clerk seemed less enthusiastic that we wanted to now BUY the bed. Instead of explaining to us that we would get the free pillows etc, we had to remind him what he told us last time we were in. AND if I hadn’t read the sign on the door that stated free Schlitterbon tickets with the purchase of a mattress we wouldn’t have gotten the free tickets. It was frustrating but at least we saved $650 by waiting to buy on a holiday weekend.We absolutely LOVE our tempurpedic mattress. Best sleep!

Relaxed, easy and overall great experience from the moment we walked in. We were able to get a read out of what my husband and I would find some compatibility sleeping on. Then we were shown which ones would be the ones that would fall in that category. We took our time with no sales pressure. We found the right bed and we have both been sleeping like babies for the past three weeks now!
