These guys helped me find a box to fit my needs for half as much as a third party UPS store quoted me. Then they directed me to Mail & More on Brodie for very cost effective packing and shipping. Excellent customer service. Helped me get a gigantic box into my very tiny Mazda. Highly recommend.

Went here a couple of years ago to sell my moving boxes. Not sure what the guy behind the counter thought just bc I’m brown but he said a phrase that has nothing to do with my ethnicity. All brown people are not from the same place, FYI.

They used to have excellent customer service. Used to. I’ve gotten my items both packaged and shipped from here for two years. When I went by today the guy behind the desk told me they no longer packaged items. Not only that, but he acted annoyed about having to do his job and wouldn’t help me out. Super lazy and a bad attitude. I will not be returning here. What a shame.

I was looking for a place to buy boxes to ship oddly-shaped items I was selling on EBay and ExoBox came through! From the time I walked in to the time I dropped off the items to ship, the staff there help me every step of the way and we’re super nice and awesome to work with. My box needs don’t come up often, but I know who I’m working with when they do!

Great reps here! Very knowledgeable and intuitive about boxes needed based on sq. footage and number of rooms. Great prices too: much lower than Lowes or Home Depot! They have new or gently used boxes for sale. Wait, theres more! They will buy back your boxes when you are done and will donate the funds to a charity or write you a check. Its pennies on the dollar, but it makes you feel good. Heres to Green Living and doing Our Part to help the environment!

This establishment has a considerable selection of shipping supplies and is located in a convenient location. Other reviewers state they had better prices offered, but unfortunately I believe I was scammed.I purchased a mix of 5 boxes (small or medium sizes) and a pack of 6, 3 inch tape. The total cost was $55. After looking up their prices online, hours later, I found the discrepancy. This certainly wasnt a mistake as the person helping was very knowledgeable on the company and their selection. It was my first time purchasing supplies and I do not live in Austin or I would have gone back.This review is for this establishment only, EcoBoxs official prices are competitive and other locations may very well be a good place to shop.

There will come a time in your life when you will need a box. This will not be a normal box. It’s going to be oddly shaped, or bigger than your average box. And you’re going to need it quickly. Today was that day for me. EcoBox has precisely what I needed, and upon seeing my exasperated face helped find exactly the right box to help me in no time. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The product was exactly what I needed. Would I purchase boxes here again? Absolutely. These guys know boxes.

Such helpful staff- and they literally have every sized box! The super helpful guy at the counter helped me find the right box for what I’m shipping and the right packing materials for the best price. Got enough supplies for 15 shipments for just $25. Definitely will come back!

I found the perfect custom sized box I needed to ship an item at great price. The guys there were very helpful. They have a good mix of new boxes/packing materials as well as used stuff at a great price.

Giving 3 stars because they deserve something for the product and pricing. Service is why the rating is suffering. Tall, thin bald guy was helpful and attentive and was helping someone when I got there & so he asked me to wait for him about 5-10m. I was ok with waiting since he was nice. Then the shorter fat guy asked me how he could help me and I told him I was just waiting on the other fella. The shorter guy then rudely said that it may take him a while so how can he help me. So I asked him if there were any moving packages or specials with boxes and packing materials and could he help me pick some boxes out and he says “yeah but you’re not really saving any money so here’s the paper and here are the small boxes, medium boxes and the large boxes” and then walked away. After picking some boxes and paper, I asked for help to my car since it was only me and the boxes were a little heavy- the shorter guy basically rolls his eyes and takes my boxes out and has so much trouble putting them in my backseat it wasn’t even funny. I would rather go get a U-Haul mover package because it comes with everything you need basically. In fact I fully regret going because now I NEED to go back and get more things like tape because I felt pressured out of this place. Ugh.

Theres no question. If I could give these folks six stars then I would. I get the best prices, first class service, and fantastic shipping supplies. Their prices are better than Uline AND they deliver for no extra charge.

Careful. If, like me, you are only buying a cheap box (under $5) and, like me, you typically dont carry cash, be aware this EcoBox store only will sell to you if you pay cash. I understand that it costs EcoBox a few percentage points to accept a card but, frankly, Ive spent a lot of money in this store over time and Id expect they would think of that and factor that in when determining if they want my business or not. If they dont want to incur the cost of accepting cards, then thats fine. Frankly, Id rather pay the extra percentage points for the convenience of not having a pile of change in my pocket. EcoBox needs to realize that plastic is the way most people pay. As a merchant, it would be nice if they adjusted to that fact as opposed to forcing their customers to.

Customer service was great purchasing the boxes and the store is very organized. My issues are with selling the used boxes. My first attempt to sell my boxes I arrived at the store at 4:30 and I was told they couldnt accept used boxes after 4. There is a small sign behind the register but I feel like I should have been told verbally about the time when I purchased the boxes. The second time I was told they couldnt accept a couple of boxes even though I purchased the boxes from them. I was not given a real answer for that. Finally my total was a $1.30 for returning used boxes but they had to write me a check! I ended up donating those boxes too. Since I believe in recycling I will return here to donate boxes but because of this experience will not purchase again. Employee working the register has horrible attitude.

I was going through a tough time in my life when i wrote this.. Jacob and his staff provided me not only with great service but they knew what I needed to shipout my guitars and recording studio. For the first time that week I felt good, all because some dudes at a box store told me to stay strong and eased my stress about moving away at a time like this. thank you ecobox

Great business for getting boxes for your move at a low price. Although the manager Jacob was very rude and made things very complicated for my mother trying to get rid of her boxes. Ran over my foot with a cart etc. Chris was polite and helped put all the boxes back in the truck. So my rating is on management

This is the spot to buy boxes. However, DO NOT try to bring the boxes back. You will be met with a lot of resistance. They sell you on recycling the boxes (.10/box for the Childrens Hospital...idk...) but they neglect to tell you that they dont want to do any recycling after 4pm?? Its bizarre. Just avoid bringing anything back, and dont let them sell you on anything else but what youre coming in for. Good luck.

DO NOT RENT EQUIPMENT FROM THIS COMPANY! They REQUIRE you to Write Down your full credit card information on a piece of paper they leave sitting around the front desk. This is begging for identity theft, highly insecure. They even have a credit card reader on the machine they enter the information on. Why do they not store it digitally and mask the number like EVERY OTHER business does?
