Laura is amazing. Helped me upgrade to a bigger unit at short notice, very patient and helpful. There was a bit of an issue when unloading the uhaul with movers I had hired and she was quick to help me sort it out since I wasn’t actually at the site when it happened. This is the first self storage I’ve rented and I will definitely recommend this to anyone I can!

This place must be a great place to rent based on the reviews but I’ll never know. When I went in to inquire about a unit there was another gentleman in the office and I was told that I would need to wait outside until she was done with him, maybe wait in my car. 25 minutes later no one had come out and she had never come out to unlock the door or to see if I was still waiting. There are a lot of storage businesses out there, if you want customers you need to have your office open. Sorry, you’ve lost this one.

I picked this storage facility because it’s close to my house and is climate controlled. The facility is newish and is gated… Also a plus for me. However, the person who was at the front desk was simply not doing his job. Instead, he was on the phone talking to the electric company for his apartment. I was very understanding his plight. I heard that they were charging him a lot of money for his apartment. I was very understanding and probably too obliging. He told me to get a better price, I should go online. So I use my phone and attempt to find the right unit. He also told me they were at high capacity, so I was eager to secure my storage unit. All in all, I managed to get a smaller unit than I was trying to get. Plus, I had to go in the office several times to ask for help. As he was on the phone with the electric company, he was very short in his answers. After about 30 minutes of me wandering aimlessly looking for my assigned storage unit, going back to the office to get a lock, I was frustrated! He did call me a couple of hours with a weak apology because he did, in fact, see me on the camera wandering around hopelessly in and out of the building. I actually had to enter the facility twice threw the gate. It was tedious but very hot outside. Whoever are the owners of this facility, I hope you handle this. Thanks.

Very nice units in a variety of sizes - we have 2, due to our ridonkulous amount of stuff. The place is kept very clean inside & out. I interacted with Laura today & she was super helpful and pleasant. My only complaint is they have raised the rates on both our units at least every year. It’s getting pretty expensive.

No complaints so far. Clean facility. Staff is very pleasant. They have an awesome option to use their truck when moving in. Prices are on par with others.Quick and easy to get started.Only downside for some may be the lack of 24 hour access but having access 5am-10pm is more than sufficient for most.

Ive been a Lakeline storage customer for 3+ years. I have nothing but amazing things to say about them. Being in Kuwait, I worried that the staff would not be as accessible via email but they were. I would like to specifically mention Laura Pennycook. I needed to transfer my unit to my name (it was under my friends name) and needed to sign documents electronically. She did all of that in 10 mins!! She was professional, sweet, fast and knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions and I received welcoming vibes from her. Very pleased with my experience at Lakeline. I rarely write reviews, but this place (and people) deserve to be recognized for their demonstration in offering top tier customer service and customer-focused approach in sales/retention - they go over the top in listening to different needs, unique circumstances and from recent experience can say they are personable, friendly, and great with people - go Laura! Laura is the best, and although I did not get to meet the rest of staff Im sure they maintain the same standards, like they do with their facility (clean, organized, accommodating, the list goes on). I admired that fact that signing up was not a typical pushy sales experience, not once did I feel like I was in any other sales environment and respect their way of conducting business.

The past 2 months have been very difficult financially for me. I hadnt been able to pay my balance and then the winter storm hit and everything got worse. I lost work and my home for a few weeks. The employees were incredible to me at this time. They kept my things locked. They didnt evict me and auction my things like I had expected. Laura in particular went out of their way today to help me get my balance paid. They waived a late fee for me that they didnt have to. Im extremely grateful.

Great experience moving in. We really appreciate how clean the place is. Its nice being in a new facility, neighborhood area feels safe, and access is well controlled. They have moving carts inside every door which is great. Elevators are big and roomy. Borrowed the move-in truck for a morning - that process was smooth and easy. Manager is wonderful, shes helpful, pleasant and nice.

A gem of a place! If you need a storage facility, I dont think there is a better option in the city of Austin. Seriously. (A huge shout out to -Laura- for her fantastic service!!) The entire property was clean, had great lighting, and felt safe. They also have everything you could need, from a truck, to bubble wrap - they have your back! It was a tiny treat to see 2 water bottles with a thank you note, and the boxing material I pre-ordered online already sitting in my storage unit when I opened it. :) Those are the details that make something special. This place deserves 5 stars!

I would really like to give this storage facility 5 stars due to the very nice and helpful on-sight staff that they maintain extremely well. The owners increased my rent very quickly after I rented the space and have increased it twice this year. I will find another place to rent within the next month.

Lakeline Storage has been a great experience for me. From the moment I booked my unit online theyve been nothing but helpful. They went above and beyond to cater to my needs and I very much appreciated that I could call the owner with any problems (such as my friend and I getting trapped on the second floor because someone else was holding the elevator for 15 mins. I called the office and they sent someone out immediately to fix the situation). Theyre sweet people and I cant recommend them highly enough.

Ive been storing here since August and have been really happy with both the unit and the service! Something that really stood out to me was that the manager showed me the actual unit Id be renting the very first time I came to visit as opposed to a model. I was thrilled at how clean it was and they did a great job at identifying how to keep it that way. I liked that they did their due diligence in informing the renters--made me feel like my belongings were being better taken care of somehow!

I was thrilled to find this facility. I was referred by two trusted sources.. the location is perfect. and then, turns out the staff is super. Managers and Staff are friendly, informed and helpful. This facility is beautiful, clean, and seems quite safe. Very pleased.

Long story short: I highly recommend Lakeline Storage! I reached out on a Friday afternoon and Laura picks up the phone! She immediately makes me feel comfortable and answers all of my questions before even asking anything of me - very professional and kind! I set up a time to visit and she was prompt, equipped with a mask, and was very easy to work with. I got to take a look at multiple units very quickly, all were tidy, and ended up walking away with a unit and peace of mind by Sunday (Saturday was a holiday). Laura also went out of her way to take a sweeper and dust pan to the unit I chose to do some extra sweeping - I guess my eyes werent that good because I could hardly tell if there was any dust! Laura is very considerate of your needs - I only mentioned once that this was my first time renting a storage unit, and on our tour she recommended different ways to store items to utilize space, and gave me other helpful tips and tricks that I wouldnt have ever thought of... really great experience!

Terri and Brad offer kind, helpful and pleasant attitudes ... The facility is clean, easily accessible, affordable, lights in the individual space and feels safe for my home in storage. There is a clean restroom accessible even after office hours...they offer water... Stow my stuff here (for almost 2 years). Access is easy, it is very clean and the management is great! Would highly recommend.

Very clean, nice storage, the only thing bad was the elevator wanted to close quickly and doesnt give you enough time to get the cart on without yelling at you that its going up or down!! You have to try to press the door open button at the same time as pushing the cart in/or out to make it without the doors trying to close on you.

This is a new, very clean facility that is very easy to access. I rented a small room for a year, and it was so convenient I have upgraded to a larger room. Terrie and Brad are easy to work with and have bent over backwards to make sure I get the best deal. I also like being able to use the phone app to open the gate entering and departing. I’ve rented a lot of storage rooms over the years and this is out and away the nicest and most well managed.

Been watching this place being built for past several months. Was using other storage and decided to change since its about a mile closer to my house. Called to make an reservation and was quoted $45 per month for the first floor unit confirmed three times over the phone. Went there and was told $63 per month and $45 was for the third floor unit. This is not about the money but about the customer service. Being nice to anyone in a normal situation is something anyone can do with blindfolded. True customer service is reflected in a situation like this when there is a problem to solve. The lady in the front has no understanding of customer service but knows how to nicely ignore what customer is saying. She did absolutely nothing to solve the problem but insisted on what she sees on the paper. She said, I understand but if you want $45 per month that will be the third floor. She had absolutely no idea about the issue but kept repeating what she had to say completely ignoring customer side. You dont call elegant ignorance a customer service.

I resisted posting a review because we are only storing our items temporarily until we sell our house. Now I wish we went with our instincts on the first day there NOT to rent a unit from them because theres usually an issue. Even before we arrived, when we booked online, they called us almost every day before our move in date to make sure we were coming. For a company that advertises we can show up or not, it’s fine, this was annoying. This was a reservation and not a bonding commitment.When we arrived on reservation day, February 7 around 9:30 am, the first problem was there wasnt anyone in the office when they should have been open. The sign on the door said someone would return at 10:30 am. We called the phone number, which is to a call center, and explained there wasnt anyone in the office. The representative asked if there was a sign in the window. Sure, there was a sign but come on, when you first open for the day and you arent there, kind of leaves me annoyed. She said she would call someone. We waited because we had boxes in our car already to store. Someone arrived at 10:30 am in a car like she was arriving for work. I am not sure if she was an employee or the managers who live on site, but either way, she offered no apology or reason for not being open at the advertised times.After spending 45 minutes there looking at one unit and signing all the electronic paperwork, we had our code and was ready to go to the unit. It almost seemed like it could have been a little faster to complete all the paperwork if she wasn’t telling us so many personal stories. We got to the gate and our code didn’t work. We drove back to the office and she said something the effect oh I didn’t hit submit to complete your account. Really??One other time we put items in our unit it was raining. The gate wasn’t opening. We went to the office and the lady said oh well there’s nothing I can do, the sensors don’t work in the rain so you have to use another entrance (not in the gate). The whole point of us picking our unit was because it was a convenient straight shot to one of the doors inside the gate.And today, March 12, when we went to put items in the unit around 11:00ish AM, the door we want to use inside the gate wasn’t opening. We saw an employee and told him the door didn’t work. He asked what do you mean? I mean the door won’t open so it doesn’t work. Seriously? He said I guess I have to get the manager. I went to the office myself and (not) shockingly they weren’t open. I did use a different door to my unit again this time.One more thing to mention about the process for insurance. She told us we needed insurance. I said our homeowner’s policy would cover it and she said I had to either take their insurance or send them a copy of my insurance. I wanted to send a copy of my insurance later and this was not an option. I wasn’t allowed to complete the process without providing proof now or pay for their insurance. She did say I could provide it later and cancel their insurance. Inconvenient. So know before you go!Here’s the good parts – it’s clean, reasonably priced with a move in special, auto payment so I don’t have to go to the office, cancellation process appears easy, electronic receipts at move in and when a payment is made, could use my own lock, no hidden fees, and convenient hours for accessing units.

The staff here is great and they show that they truly care about their customers. You can tell that the attitude is more than just business, it is deeper than that. It is a very clean facility and some of the most reasonable rates I have found in the area.

The staff are friendly and thoughtful. There are opportunities for savings, they work with access hours, and they keep their property safe and clean. They go over and beyond with the community by holding garage sales for renters, food drives, and holiday events for the family. The property is in a great location, they have some outdoor access units and even more indoor climate control unit with easy roomy access and complementary dolly carts when unloading.

We were looking for a storage near our apartment and came across Lakeline Storage. Garrett and Victoria who run the facility were absolutely wonderful, professional, informative and extremely knowledgeable in this industry. They not only helped us find the right storage space for us, they gave us a great rate - very fairly priced and they have a moving truck to loan if we rent from them! We truly feel our possessions are in a safe place and in a safe area. If you are looking for a great storage facility you have found one with these great people!

I was absolutely blown away by the customer service given by Lakeline Storage. I called but the call center answered and quoted me a price way out of my budget. About 2 minutes after getting off of the phone, Victoria called me back and suggested that I come in to see the size of the units and also offered a discount for living at a nearby community. I stopped in to see the unit and it did not disappoint. Upon arriving they opened the door for me, offered me bottled water and a snack. They gave me a tour of the facility. This place is nice! Staff is very personable! They are excited to help and make sure you get exactly what you need in making the moving process as painless as possible... including a free moving truck when you move in, what more could you ask for?! Facility is brand new and best deal around! Victoria and Garrett are so nice and even after hours brought a dolly out for us to unpack with and make sure we were doing ok.

If I could give it a -10 I would. So over the course of a few months, I had been collaborating and received pricing. not once, not twice but three times. All different quotes. One of $87 to price match before they even got a Certificate of occupancy. One when I arrived back from Pr $96 and then when I signed of over $100 but when I entered the office, they were still painting (the fumes were overwhelming and had me sick for at least 3 days. When reported to the GM Jeremy he could careless) and then right after to be called by victoria the very next day to be told of the other fees associated and the truck rental fee. WOW Customer service piece making at its best. Try to be transparent because it doesnt exist either verbally or on your website. Victoria is a very rude person. Customer service is NOT her strong suit. Be very Hesitant!

Good little storage with a nice lady who helped with all our questions and took our money with ease!

They were wonderful and helpful and great customer service, I have two storage units with them. However I have not even been there a year and they have already increased the price on my unit by $23 a month, thats $276 a year and I was planning on keeping it for several years and now I may need to reevaluate.

They would not honor their website sale prices. They would not honor over the phone quoted prices. We still reserved a unit and when on our way to deliver our furniture to their storage building they called to say they would not honor our reservation price. Three phones calls, each with an increase in price. Obviously, we went to another storage place. We came home and discovered an e-mail from Lakeline Storage confirming our reservation at the lower price.... I dont even think it deserves one star.

My experience with this company has been nothing but excellent from day one. Not only did I get an excellent deal on the storage unit but the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have had two issues with payments in the past and they have been extremely helpful in resolving them. First time was when I had fraud on my card the day before an autopayment. Considering I had to wait for my card they initially assessed a late fee but upon me receiving my new card and making the payment they waived the fee. Just today they had an issue with their payment processor where the autopayment reverted back to my old card number for an inexplicable reason and once again they waived the late fee due to the exigent circumstances. Lakeline Storage will most definitely be keeping my business for as long as I live in the Austin area and have a need for storage space.
