They have very horrible service, trying to get them to answer the phone is impossible!! I have been trying to get my prepaid oil change done for over 2 wks and they will not answer the phones, and when I stopped by after work they said they only take cars in the morning 1st cone 1st serve...so I dropped off the night before to get my car done and out but it seems that doing an oil change takes over half a day to do..they need to do something to honor what they pre-sale to you and make sure people are getting great service as well as promt service
Waited 3 hours for my car to be serviced. I started to head over to Kia because I would assume after 3 hours my car would be done or close to done. Well to my surprise, as I pull into the service parking lot my car hadn’t even been MOVED from where I originally dropped it off. As I am there Kia calls me. The guy says that my car is being worked on at the moment and wouldn’t be done for another 2 HOURS. LIES. I was standing next to my car which obviously hasn’t even been worked on for the 3 hours it had been there. I understand if they were busy, but do not lie to me and say that my car is being worked on if it’s not.

I purchased my car brand new from Haddad Kia in 2018 and had issues with the dealer from day 1 of taking delivery of my vehicle. Ive now been told (3 years later) that the maintenance contract sold to me by RICKEY NICHOLSON and ISMAEL ANGUIANO, was basically falsely advertised or portrayed. I was told the contract would cover 60 months and unlimited mileage - I.E. I could receive multiple oil changes each year (above 12,000 miles a year) for 60 months. Now Ive been told that the service contracts are never sold based on mileage, they are based on coupons which in this case would be 8 coupons total. Haddad Kia is very unreliable.
I dont want to give any stars, but I had to in order to leave a review. I will start out with the SALES / DEALERSHIP side is AMAZING!!! Its very unfortunate that their service department lacks basic customer service skills, efficiency etc. ALWAYS put on hold for what seems like a lifetime so I end up hanging up and calling again,only for it to happen again . Never get a call back after leaving a message. That service department sucks. This was all going on before the RONA, so no excuses.

Can’t tell you how much a an overly satisfied and happy with the customer service technicians at Haddad Kia. I purchased several cars since 2013 and every time I walk in, everyone addresses me by my name, Two employees stand out the most with going over and beyond helping me, Vanessa and Velma. They are both an amazing and an asset to your company.
Sales side is great... because they want to make a sale. Service department is terrible. Be prepared to wait 3+ hours for an oil change and for them to constantly change their minds whether they take appointments or not. Took one of my cars in last Friday for a 60,000 mile inspection and oil change the print out said everything was great and in the green not even a week later the car died and wouldnt start and now they are saying they will start with the battery to see if that fixes it but its not covered under the extended warranty. Oh and be prepared to sit in hold for at least ten minutes only to leave a voicemail and maybe have someone call you back a day later. Service center is just ridiculous. And their roadside assistance took over 24hrs to get us a tow! If I could leave negative stars I would.
I was sold a 2021 Kia Forte GT line, for 27,000 because of the dealerships mistake, vehicle is only worth 22,000. I tried returning the vehicle and explaining what was happening but was just giving terrible service. Nonetheless terrible dealership and will never be going again. Will be hearing from the Better Business Bureau soon. 👍🏼
I continue to be very disappointed with my Kia Sportage and the service center. Currently my 2017 Sportage has the following issues:Driver side window will not roll upFront console is non-op: no radio, hands free speaker, screen.Passenger side air conditioning non op: waiting on parts.Recall work incompleteService is way too busy to help me anytime soon, even with uncharacteristic rain happening in July.In 35 years I’ve owned multiple Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota and Porsche vehicles. I’ve never had this many issues with one car.Steve, customer service rep, eloquently pointed out that my car DOES have 95,000 miles on it, and that’s a lot. If he considers that a lot, then I will not be purchasing another Kia.
I’m very disappointed with Kia’s service. My car is still under warranty (less than 2 years) but it started to have problem (suddenly shut down WHILE driving). It’s a very dangerous issue so I took it in into KIA but they said they are so busy now they can only look at my car and diagnose it in 1.5 weeks later (my car will be parked in their parking lot waiting). Meanwhile I have to deal with no car by myself (their loaner has over 40 ppl on waiting list, and they don’t do rentals). They acted like they don’t care. I guess Kia cars have many problems and they are very used to this kind of complaints and thus they don’t care? Really disappointed with the customer service.
Loving my Kia! just want to say thank you to Rick Armijo for his good service and getting me the monthly payment I needed. Rick worked with me very quickly and made sure i was comfortable while I waited. He was very understanding of the work I do with elderly and disabled adults and put his all into finding me a car that could handle the wheelchairs and equipment I need to properly care for my clients. My car has been here for more than 2 months already. I really am not the person to review and make something public but I don’t think it’s fair that I have been hindered from getting a job and going to places as a person who is living by herself. I think it’s truly saddening that I have not had my car for such a long time already. I’ve been having so much trouble with this car and they can not find what’s wrong with it even though it has had the battery completely dead 3 times already. I was not even able to get approved for a rental which is crazy. I have been really considerate but I think this is already to much to be waiting on my car.
Nothing but high praise for Haddad Kia some of the nicest people I have met! Great managers and salespeople! Great service, great prices! I read a recent review of someone saying they were refused service because of a President Trump bumper sticker Im not buying it. I have never experienced anything politcal from their personnel. I highly recommend Haddad Kia!

Well, its been 2 years now and still waiting on our second key fob. Purchasing our Kia Optima was a pleasant experience except there was only one key fob. We visited the dealership 6 times after purchase and was told they had the key fob, but its locked up in a box that nobody had a key to at that time. Another time they said it was on its way to the dealership and when it arrives theyd hand deliver it to our home or mail it....all of which NEVER happened. Just kept getting the run around no matter who we spoke to. 2 years later...still waiting.
Not overly happy with this dealership at the moment. 2nd time weve had to have our Telluride seviced for transmission problems. Took them 3 days to do a diagnostic test and then another day to decide on what to do with the car. Service advisors dont feel that replacing the transmission will resolve the problem, so what do they decide. Replace the transmission. Well we can only hope this resolves the problem. But they really need to improve on their ability to Service customers in a timely manner.
Took in to get the rear door lock estimate two days later nothing! (For an Estimate!!) Wow I have responsibilities! Now I received a recall notice for my Kia Forte, scary probably will take three months @

The dealerships work is extremely efficient and does great work to cars. I have never had a complaint about the work or service maintenance done on the two vans we have taken to Kia. However they are very unfriendly and cold. Also, I feel like maybe the inside departments, not the service/mechanics, are little shady. There was an instance where I felt like they basically lied to me to get 80 bucks out of me. Not nice, not super friendly, and help is very minimal. Even when you call in to make appointments they are SUPER short and hard to talk to. Not to mention you have to wait FOREVER to talk to anyone! The mechanics good work is worth to keep taking our Kia Sedona back. Just wish the people there, or at least the people who answer the phones were nicer and more friendly.
My assigned Service Representative and his assisting Supervisor were rather rude discourteous and condescending. It took some talking and convincing to get them to access the database and pull the warranty information on my cars battery. Diego insisted on charging me a diagnostic fee or having me to wait for the previous dealership that install the last battery to open two and a half hours later; his assistant manager or supervisor was following suit in they were both very condescending and a bit rude. Finally after some insistence and a lot of talking I convinced this woman and Diego to look in the database and the supervisor was still insisting on the fact that the battery wasnt there and I looked on the screen and pointed out the battery replacement which was indeed still under warranty. NO customer whether paying cash or using a warranty should have to go through so much to get warranty work and it seems that these dealers arent willing to honor these warranties unless you bought your vehicle at their location yet they sell these warranties with every car that they sell and I feel that this is unfair and it needs to be corrected.
My whole experience was a nightmare. We bought a KIA Niro from Haddad because we like to buy local. The customer service has always been mediocre. We have had a reoccurring issue with our car where it feels like we are being rear ended when we switch from the brake to the gas (it has gotten more and more frequent since we bought the car and had become a daily occurrence). We have taken it in several times and they were finally able to diagnose it last month. Their techs said the transmission had to be replaced but they couldnt order the part because the system was down due to the storm. We waited and kept following up (their service dept never once called to give us an update) and when we finally called corporate, we found out it was actually a nationwide issue caused by them possibly being hacked (we found that last bit out from several internet articles because KIA never confirmed that they had been hacked). Once the system was back online a couple weeks later, the Haddad KIA techs submitted a warranty claim to get our car fixed and the corporate engineers came back and told them to replace the clutch rather than the transmission and thats what they did. We called to follow up several more times and when we finally were told we could come pick up our car, the service tech basically told us that the issue would probably reoccur and that theyd try to fix it when it did (since the issue was with the transmission and not the clutch). This was after over a month of them having our car. When I finally went to pick up the car, I went to get the paperwork and I asked for all the detailed notes and it never once mentioned anything about their initial recommendation to replace the transmission or any of the issues (so I had to ask for copies of their records and I had to take pictures of their notes so that we could have records of what actually happened in case there were any further issues with the car...I get it CYA). I also asked for them to cover the cost of the service for the massive inconvenience and was told it wasnt their fault that this had happened (they only sold us the car, but it came from KIA corporate and it was KIA corporates system after all) and when I asked about the terrible customer service, they didnt really have much of a response to that. Once all the paperwork was taken care of, I get to my car and there is no gas. Literally it had a range of 4 miles (which is really just 1 mile). That wouldnt have even gotten me to the nearest gas station. I was in tears at the point because of all the frustration and hassle I had been through and went back inside. When I said that there was no gas, Vanessa (the service rep) was like what, is the light on, and I said yes, its on and there is no gas as in the range is 4 miles. She couldnt have been bothered and treated me like a massive inconvenience.To give Haddad credit, there were 2 things I appreciated: (1) they arranged for a rental after a week (though this is apparently covered by corporate so that may explain why). (2) By the time I had gone back in and had explained that there was no gas in the car and asked how I was supposed to get to a gas station since they had completely emptied our tank (btw, they had insisted we bring them back their loaner with a full tank or pay $6 a gallon) I was in tears. I asked to speak with the manager and Michael Haddad came out and spoke with me. He very sweetly listened to me tell him my experience while I was in tears, took my car and filled up my gas tank for me.I am ending my review with this. My whole experience with Haddad was awful, but like I said to Michael, I believe any place can turn it around. I really hope that Haddad will train their service folks (and quite frankly their sales and finance reps as well) to give better customer service in future. If they do that, I would be willing to go back and try again. If not, well, they may be the only KIA dealership in town, but Id rather make the schlep to LA to get better service/buy a car from someone who I can count on.
Called for an easy question for service dept, about symptoms my in dash stereo was having. That was a week ago, and heard nothing. Cant handle a return phone call, not touching my vehicle.
Been on hold for the service department checking if they even took a look at my car . I called a hour and a half ago she couldn’t locate my car or info, said the person who helped me previously would be back from lunch and he would call me to help me. Been on hold for someone to pick up from the service department for 15 minutes !!! My car engine went out and it’s been recalled.
Went in to service the car. The radio wasnt working well. They supposedly fixed it but made it worst plus now a heart a rattle under my dashboard

Talk about making a sour experience sweet!!!I recently purchased a car from a private party, it broke down the same day.😒😪I called Kia and James had the message from up above. To my surprise and after the diagnosis the vehicle had a recall on the engine. Kia replaced the engine and gave me the opportunity to have an operable vehicle once again. James was so professional and to the point. He responded all my questions in a timely manner. I had a very good first experience in the Haddad Kia Service Department. Went there for a 9am appointment and was seen timely. Work was done and was out of there before 10:30. Vanessa was courteous and professional. Great first impression.
By far the most unprofessional KIA service dealership ever. Whoever runs the Service Department needs to be held accountable or fired for lack of controls and carelessness for personal property. Girlfriend’s car was taken in for a simple oil change. Then service advisor told her that they needed to keep the car to fix something. She did not plan on leaving the car but they insisted it to be done. Car gets left overnight not secured by the dealership. Girlfriend gets car back the next day and found a lot of stuff stolen out of her car including an Apple Watch. Their response to her was that they are not liable for this. Understandable that they aren’t responsible for personal property but they did not try and help out with camera footage of where her vehicle was at overnight or anything. Pretty much dismissing any type of complaint that she was going to make. It looks like there is a shady employee or entire service department if the vehicle was kept in a secured area and property was stolen (most likely parked it out in front of the lot in an unsecured area and left the doors unlocked). This is 100% KIAs fault and they are taking no responsibility for it.
The sales staff and management personal were very knowledgeable and helpful, they took in consideration my time and my needs, my Salesman Rick Armijo was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and his manager Jordan was very accommodating, I will be recommending Haddad Kia to everyone I know that is considering purchasing a vehicle

While driving from Las Vegas to Pismo Beach, my 2011 Optima had a blinking engine light come on and it went into limp mode. Drove to Haddad Kia for them to check out why the engine light came on. James was very helpful and courteous (5 stars for James). Turned out my car with 104k miles on it was under warranty as part of the Kia engine recall. It took 3 weeks to get it done because of the number of 2.4 liter theta engines that are being replaced. Had my car been washed and as clean as when I dropped it off, I would have rated the experience 5 stars.

The other day, my wife’s Kia Sorento broke down and was in need of some repairs. I towed the vehicle to the Kia service area and was immediately greeted by Mr. Juarez. He gathered all my information quickly and was advised that it needed to be held over the night for the technician to work on it tomorrow, which was understandable considering it was late in the day. The next day, Mr. Juarez called me and advised me of the work that needed to be done. He was also able to get my wife a rental car until the our vehicle was ready. Even though Mr. Juarez was busy multitasking with other clients, he was a great help during the whole process.
Ive been here a few times and its always been a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly, efficient, they communicate and I love that they use Lyft now instead of a shuttle service. Theyve taken good care of my cars. Very happy with the Kia Service Dept.

My experience with Kia was GREAT! at first i was hesitant because car shopping can be overwhelming and some cars sales men/women its just about the sale. I did not feel this way at all with the sales guy who helped me out, Rick. He explained everything, i told him my budget and not once did he go above it or ask me to. If you are looking at Kias go see Rick he is amazing and so easy to talk to.
We drove in late for our appointment, but we were greeted at our car by a young lady with a very happy outlook on things. We did not loose our spot in line and it did not take long for our vehicle to be taken in to the shop. The attendant looked over the work order and compared it to our service history and found that there had been an error made in what service our Kia actually needed, and brought this to our attention. I really appreciated this because it meant that we would not be as much money out of pocket as was thought it would be.
Diego in the Service Center was a class act. They were all friendly and did excellent work.

The overall experience was great. The person in the service department was able to answer all my questions. And the time frame he gave me was alot shorter then the one he gave me which was also a plus because I was waiting on my car since I live out of town. Thank You Kia Service Dept. I took in my KIA forte because it was involved in a accident. it was actually my daughters car. she didnt feel comfortable driving it after it got repaired. Angel Valdez came to the rescue. they paid off our lease and put my daughter in a 2019 KIA optima!! Angel, with the help of David Padilla, made us feel like family and got us the best deal!! i would definitely by another car from these two again. Keep up the good work guys!!
It took 6 phone call to get a service appointment, when I did get one, they had no record of it when I arrived.
If you call to checl on rhe service they put you on hold and never pick up.They tried hard to sell me tires saying had a nail in inside wall of front tire ( still not sure how thats possible) and not fixable. Said all 4 are bald and very dangerous for me to be driving.Took to tire company. They took off all 4 tires and could not find a nail or any sign of nail. Said tires were worn. But had several more miles before bald. Im a single older woman and they thought they voulf scare me into buying their tires.Very poor service. Would never buy another Kia.

Came to dealership 45 minutes before the dealership closed. Pedro let me take a test drive to which I decided to buy the vehicle. Even though the dealership was officially closed, Pedro explained alot of the features of the car. Lastly, David explained the financial numbers so I clearly understood them. Very patient. This is the second vehicle Id purchased from Haddad Kia and Id come to them again.

We had an appointment for 7:30 am this morning my husband was on time and know they tell us I told you we will not be servicing your car until this afternoon with an attitude. Thats all right when I get my car back it better be right.
Terrible! First of all not greeted and terrible customer service. My husband took my car in for recalls. After having our car all day they contacted him to let him know that it was ready and that they discovered a few things. One thing in particular was that the A.C. cabin air filter was clogged and needed to be replaced. (I had my mechanic replace it just the week prior). They also said something about my back breaks and come to find out from my Certified Mechanic (brother in-law) it is impossible for them to say that without removing my tires and he was able to tell that they did not remove my tires. When we picked up the car a man apologized about the cabin air filter, I did not get his name or title, and he said that his technician had glanced at it and cause it was grey and theirs are white he assumed it was clogged. (Turns out ours is white as well so not sure where he got grey from). Then to add to it all they spilt oil all over under the hood (All Over) and did not clean it up. So it seems to me as I’m sure it would anyone that they were trying to take us for fouls and milk us for cash. Terrible employees make a terrible name for companies!

I went in for services...due to a recall. Kenny greeted me and I shared with him why I was there...he offered me a seat and took my information, and said it will be a few hours and if I needed a shuttle. Kenny then said I can have a seat in the lobby while waiting on the shuttle and feel free to the coffee and donuts. Once my car was ready...i was later picked up. Not only was my car repaired...it was washed, but not vacuum 😔. Overall...the service was good.

Wanted to come on here to give James from KIA service center a review and shoutout! Short story is that my current car situation has been tough. As a customer you know how frustrating it can be when your having car trouble. James really does put himself in your situation. Making it easy to talk to him about the frustration i was feeling. He treated me nicely when at times i didnt deserve it. He always keeps his cool and professionalism. If your looking for a representative thats helpful, considerate, that actually cares go to James.
Great customer service; David Rodriguez and Robert Figueroa are the best. They took their time with me without making me feel pressured. I would recommend these two gentlemen; you will have a great experience.
When I pulled up I had went to the dodge side and when I went inside there was this lady whose breath smelled so bad my stomach became confused. She said KIA is back over there sir and I was happy with her honest customer service because her breath was Terrible. I drove around and parked in the front of the customer service. I walked into the KIA service and was greeted immediately by James. James was very polite and used great manners while helping me with all of my customer needs. He even escorted me to the complimentary coffee and doughnuts. As I sat there this service technician named Issac, came up to me and let me know that he would be my technician at first I didnt know but after seeing how ashy his knuckles were I knew he could fix a car. When I walked outside to inspect the car I saw Chris and Blake who both helped me with purchasing my new KIA a few months. Chris was really helpful answering all my questions about trading in my car and why hes going bald before 30. I noticed a tall guy walking with a bald head and I asked Chris whose that and he said thats Jordan our manager I said well after your shift ask him who his barber is like ASAP. The manager Jordan waved at me and Chris and I said he looks like Slim Thugg the generic version. Issac waved me down and when I got closer to him he informed me that my car was done and he knows I am a busy man but if I had a few more minutes I could wash her for you. How thoughtful to care about my schedule and ask me if I had some more time. Once the car was completely finished James escorted me to a room and thats when the front customer service guys foot got caught and he almost ate it and tried to play it off like nothing happened. Issac and James finished my transaction in a timely manner and in a blink I was given the keys and said bye to everyone and I was out. Overall great customer service with great laughs as well.
Would be nice after paying cash for a 2018 to get a spare my beautiful car sits because bumper to bumper don’t cover tires or rims apparently that’s my only complaint I have a very sick wife that’s missing appointment after appointment because 900 is not in the budget so besides that Kia is awesome
They were somewhat helpful. Give me a real good price on a car they didnt even have and didnt seem to enthused about helping me find one. Rather disappointing.
Bought a Forte last year and found out yesterday when my wife had a flat tire we didnt get a spare but a compressor. The hole was to big she sat on Union Ave for almost 2 hours got it towed to Haddad and was told today if I want a spare and the tire changing tools it will cost 350 dollars and 106 for a new tire. Stay as far away from Haddad as you can I will never go there again they screw you then charge you for not telling you they dont give you a spare. Then when you want to talk to a manager none are available the worst customer service around
