We have gone to this Big Brand for many years for tires and tire service. A few months ago, I was looking for a new repair shop for general repairs and maintenance and noticed that they do way more than just tires, and their rating was pretty high. After reading a number of reviews, I decided to give them a try. Ive taken my new old car in for a complete inspection, gotten a new set of tires and just now picked it up after taking it in because the Check Engine light came on and stayed on after tightening the fuel cap like the manual suggested. Each time, they have been professional, efficient and courteous. The customer area is clean and well-maintained. They answer questions with infinite patience, which I didnt appreciate so much when I was standing in line waiting my turn, but really did when I was the one asking questions. I feel like they always get to it quickly, charge reasonably and dont try to sell me unnecessary products or services. Way to go, Big Brand!

I purchased 4 Cooper tires for my pickup, the staff was very pleasant to deal with. The tires that I purchased had a $100.00 mail in rebate. Unfortunately after waiting several months, the rebate check never came. I called the store and was advised to call corporate, calling corporate was a pain in the rear, l left message after message and got no help, I finally went back to the store, they told me that there must not have been a rebate at the time of my purchase..... I just happened to have a copy of all the paperwork they original gave me at the time of purchase.... They said they would look into it.... I never heard from them again. Everybody is nice when they want to get the sale.....

I gotta tell you, these gentlemen are amazing, a definite class act! They go above and beyond the usual customer service. I highly recommend taking your car needs to them!!

I had a nail in my tire and the staff at big brand was phenomenal. They took care of it in under an hour and got me back on the road. They even offered to make an appointment for me to bring it back if I didn’t have an hour to wait right then. Great customer service.

Came into my hometown on a road trip from San Diego and got a big mail in my tire that caused a flat. Big Brand on 21st and all the crew patched up and repaired my tired in no time. Literally 20 minutes before closing, I had been running around all day and I literally have a baby on the way any day. I explained this and told them I didn’t feel safe on my tires with a baby in the car, and they got me in no questions asked staying 40 minutes past. Not only that got me a killer deal on a set. This is what good customer service is. I will be sure and buy here no matter what vehicle I’m driving.

BEWARE!! Say they offer free tire repair but refused to repair my tire and told me I needed to buy a new one. I said ok how much is a tire, they said actually you need 2 new tires and refused to do the repair!

Made an appointment for an oil change at 1215. I arrived at 1210 with my own oil and filter. It is now 1330 and my car is STILL not finished with a simple oil change. If it wasnt for nice employees, Id give this place 1 star. An hour and 15 minutes is a joke for an oil change. Do not come here if you expect it done in a reasonable amount of time. Also, they wont let customers use the restroom, as if were in the middle of pandemic and no one has been vaccinated and stores arent reopening. Going elsewhere next time!

Great service! Tom was very polite and explained everything very well. Much better than Jiffy Lube. Jiffy lube has been rude and pushy on multiple occasions whereas Big Brand tires treated me with respect. Will definitely recommend!!!!

I love this place. Service is great. They honor their warranties no problem. I ran over something in the road where they were doing construction...it certainly didnt belong IN my tire. Thank goodness I was close to my favorite tire shop..Big Brand Tire!! We all were totally surprised how my tire didnt go totally flat before I got there. But they honored the warranty, got tire changed right away..got me on my way...but with me watching out for construction debris along the way. Thanks Big Brand Tires. You were great👍

EXCELLENT SERVICE! AS ALWAYS. I love how they check the breaks, the alignment, and do a free tire rotation on my car when I take it in for the oil change. This is the ONLY place I take all my vehicles to because I trust them. I once took my sisters car to another place, huge mistake. She made this appointment to this other place. I asked for them to check the brakes and they said they did. Nope. 2 days later as I was driving her car exiting the freeway when the car wouldnt stop. It was one of the scariest moments in my life! Thank God I was going uphill which slowed it down and there were no other cars on the exit. I barely made it home. They didnt check the brakes at all! My sister had a family member check the brakes and they were completely wasted, nothing was left. This is why I only trust Big Brand. They are honest, reliable, and I trust them with my life, but more importantly, my kiddos lives because they are with me everywhere I go. Shout out to Big Brand on 21st.! Thank you to EVERYONE!

The most honest and professional place Ive been to in a long time if not ever. I have traveled all over the US in my Tundra and where others have made mistakes, reversed tie rods, too short and wearing out my tires constantly because the alignment couldnt be right. Tommy was the man to fix it or at least send me to someone that could. If you are ever in this area, this is where you go for something called truth that has been lost amongst our society. Ive been going to the Big Brand in downtown Bakersfield for more than 10 years for oil changes, tire rotations and new tires, after being referred by a coworker. The management there is awesome (Tommy, Luis & Tim). They have gone above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied, and it is much appreciated!

They are always very friendly. Keep me in the loop about the work needed, parts and pricing. Absolutely recommend if your looking for great quality at a great price.

Got quote over phone. Went down there quick. Asked about TPMS and it was added to estimate. Approved estimate and wandered around town. Came back and got a report about cars status. Alignment was almost done. Got invoice on phone, reviewed it and paid it online. Grabbed the key and drove baby with the new shoes home. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

I used to buy used tires and pay $10 for flat repairs. Not anymore. Big Brand employees are great and very courteous. Tires are worth the price. Even an inexpensive set lasts long. Cost to add lifetime warranty to tires is not bad. I got a huge screw in a tire that couldnt be fixed so they replaced the whole tire for free. I only had to pay 13 bucks for the warranty on the new tire. Following month got a nail and they fixed it for free. I love that they do free fix a flat service. And they are open Saturday and Sunday. I dont go to any other tire shop now.

They advertise free flat repair I have been turned away 3 * and i have tire warranties. I have been with them for more than 20 years their tires are becoming expensive their service is not quick . for a flat repair you have to leave your car. I just go to Mendes tire and pay 10 bucks in ten minutes i am on the road

Great staff, with good memory. I have become a regular there due to working out of town and having to often run maintenance on my car. To be completely honest, I run approx 960 miles on my car weekly. I often return for tire rotations, the 3 year alignment plan (killer deal) and oil changes. Nowhere else Id rather go, staff tend to go above and beyond for their customers, and price wise is pretty affordable. 💯 🏎💨

I dropped in with no.prior appointment to get a tire patched. Because of the bad shape my tires were in I decided to get a new set of tires. They were happy to do it, even though it was the end of the day. Their service was fast and very friendly.

I bought a fundraiser from a friend that included 2 free oil changes amongst many other coupons. The counter man did not try to up-sale me on anything during my free service. After the service he brought the balding of my tires to my attention and gave me pricing to replace them with tires I already had, again not trying to sell me any more than what I needed. I had scheduled appointments for both services and was in and out both times. The men in the office are very courteous and efficient, and in the midst of the Covid are taking extra measures to keep everything sanitary. Definitely recommend them!

When you get there, they are very welcoming, very friendly very professional and never sells you anything you do not need. Although I got to the store late near closing, Tommy went out of his way to help me with the BigBrand tire credit card and a set of 4 tires for our 2012 Volvo xc70. They stayed longer to get my car done. I do appreciate what they have done. That is why I am a customer since 1993 because of Tim the manger and now Tommy who helped me this time. As a person who does vehicle maintenance on there own, I was curious to see if the work is actually done. I check the liquids prior and after the visit. I was told by the employees that the liquids in my vehicle were topped off, yet when I got home the coolant was not. I understand this probably doesnt happen often, but this is enough to lose business.
