After reading the many positive reviews on this place we decided to take our van here. Taking me vehicle here was the biggest mistake of owning my van. They had beyond poor communication, I had to do all of the calling. When the wrong transmission was ordered it became a blame game, between them, the dealer and the place that shipped the transmission and Covid 19. When I requested a discount due to the hardship it caused my family all they could do was a measly $150, which already included the $80 that they were discounting... I will let you do the math to what kind of discount that really was. Finally, upon picking the vehicle up, the car had a musty smell and was covered in a fine dust. It was very apparent that our driver side window was left down. When the vehicle was brought out to us, the worker wore no mask and had no gloves on, we are now having to pay foe the car to be Covid cleaned before we allow any of our children in the van. I wouldn’t trust this place with a trike. Please read all reviews before taking your car here!

Did not have work done there, but called twice for advice & information..They were very forthcoming with info on my situation, and were very pleasant..I give them a thumbs up for that..Thank you.

They had my vehicle for almost a month. The only time we got any updates on what was going on was when we took the initiative to call them to find out what was going on. On top of that they left the windows open. Now my vehicle smells like mildew, and I have to pay to have it detailed. Im very disappointed.

Our transmission blew out on a holiday weekend. All Automatic was willing to look at our car before the holiday and gave us an estimate and promise to fix it by 5 on the next working day. Both estimate and promise were kept. They also sent us images of the transmission as they tore it apart to explain the damage they were repairing.

They knew my vehicle needed other repairs first. But they still preformed the service costing me extra money. I believe they jus wanted my money and they knew my trans was leaking and the service they provided was not helpful but costing. Smh

My husband and I called on a short notice to see if they can replace our rear main seal on our 07 Chevy suburban and they got us in the next morning. Todd and the guys there at the Rosedale shop we’re friendly and easy to talk to. They answered all of our questions that we had. After we lift the shop, Todd called us to tell us that he found metal shavings in the transmission pan. He explained the damage that there is in the transmission and that they can rebuild it that day. They did not start any work without our approval. He even sent us pictures of the pan showing us the metal in it. Overall, myself and my husband highly recommend this shop on Rosedale for all your transmission needs. In and out the same day....

The best and honest

Larry and his staff are very professional and friendly, I would highly recommend this shop for any and all transmission needs in Bakersfield.

Was told vehicle will take 2 days to fix ended up taking 2 weeks. They rushed putting my vehicle back together because another mechanic found a lot of un-bolted bolts. They replaced my subframe bolt with a weaker 1/4 in. Bolt, that stripped and caused my subframe to come undone. Reason for going to another mechanic was the pinging noise I heard in my suspension. Mechanic asked, Did someone do some recent work on your car? I said The transmission place! Then he proceeded to show me all the loose bolts. For example, lower control arms, subframe not secured, and a bracket that holds half of the axle. All this contributed to the vibration i was experiencing. I was told to take it back but I didnt want to deal with the headache and end up with more loose bolts. So I would rather pay a new mechanic to do the job. 10k miles later the rebuilt transmission is missing 3rd gear.

Couldnt of picked a better place. Yall were cool, polite and honest and got my truck working.
